Found while out pack training for a walk in WA in October. Thankyou for your contribution to geo caching
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a Christmas 2023 adventure. A quick find here. Thats definitely 4WD access unless you want a long walk. The multiple caches along this track made it worth the effort and Im also leaving a favourite point for the hide. Its a great day for caching. TFTC pprass
Out caching with Wollaston and stopped for this cache and were rewarded with a find. Track challenging and hide good. Thanks for arranging and enhancing our enjoyment of the area pprass. Fav point alloc
Cache hadn't been found for a while so went out to check on it expecting it to be gone - but there it was. A nice hide if I say so myself
A perfect track to test out the new Pajero. After all the rain last night the kidlets quite enjoyed driving through big muddy puddles! Had previously come part way along this track in the RAV4 but had to turn around, definitely 4WD only. Cache was nice and simple to find. Lots of white ants in the stump but I reckon it will take them some time to chew through the bazooka! Thanks Pprass
I went with Fitzy_1965 for a long weekend drive up the east coast to Port Macquarie caching along the way and visiting several new towns and villages. A highlight was a get together with Pprass & Kat after a few mega 4wd climbs in the afternoon. Day 3 took us back into the hills west of the coast from Pt Macquarie. One too many, but it was fun. A little caching around the outskirts of Pt Macquarie before finishing the day in the Port caravan park. Very civilised.
This set of caches out to the dam was a fun way of seeing bits of the track in more detail. It was eerie at the base of the dam wall, I am glad I did not have to climb up.
Thanks for the cache pprass

21,996. Found during an epic trip up to Port Macquarie and back with albida33 over a 4 day weekend. Often signed as F65 A33. After heading up to Taree from Goulburn on Friday, we cached up to and reached Port Macquarie yesterday.
Day 3 of our North Coast Adventure, and after slumming it in a Hotel last night (the local Showgrounds and Caravan Parks were not taking anyone who was not self contained. We were even asked if we had bathrooms after I said we were in Swags?????) we were up early for another days caching fun around the Port Macquarie and Wauchope region. We were especially keen to do the Forest Road series today, plus and Challenge Caches which we might be able to get. This was the next find of the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks pprass !!

Had a bit of time to kill between jobs so thought I'd head down to find this one. Pretty easy once you spot it.
Now to find somewhere to turn the trailer around.

In the area for a 6 day June Long Weekend. This is our second day caching, having cached Friday, and now Sunday. We are camping at Ellenborough Reserve. After a nice drive along the ridge to Roller View, we traveled in a roundabout way to get to here, following Look out Rd, along Blue Creek Rd, and bit of downhill 4wding on CPT35/9 and we make it to here. Could spot the offender from the road, so a quick find in this Rain forest was made. So cool, damp and dark in here today. TFTC. 3/5 for the day
As we drove to Blue Creek Dam we stopped to find this cache. Nicely made!
All is good here.
Thanks for another beaut cache pprass.

Looked in the obvious place first but couldn't find it, looked around then went back.
Ants had built a nest around it so it was stuck!
Great hide.

Headed for Port today,
I got distracted along the way [:o]
A trail of caches to a dam place,
had me driving away from where the locals race
And away from the madness of the main road,
I ended up here where a cache did abode.
With the geomobile sporting a muddy look,
I soon found this cache and signed the logbook [:o)]
BAZOOKA !!

On a caching expedition with ozglory who were on a mission to claim the elusive Turtle souvenir. We were going right past it on our way back from an earlier find and they kindly stopped to allow me to claim the find. An excellent place to hide a cache.

After coming down from Speleology I found myself with some time on my hands and noticed some nearby higher terrain caches. I found the entrance to this track and drove down the sometimes muddy road. With the narrow track you have to watch where you can turn around. A few times I cursed myself for going past a section I wasn't confident reversing back down and so had to push on to try to find a turn around point. Eventually with about 300 metres to go and time running out, I found a spot where a 47 point turn would get me facing the other way and so legged it to the cache and back. Nice bazooka! Then it was a slippy time back down the track!
Thanks pprass

A big day of caching today. We continued along the track and went as far as we felt comfortable in the XV. the track crossed the creek and even though it was rocky underneath we didn't want to drive across it. probably for the best as just beyond it there was a large mud puddle that i think we would have difficulty getting through. it was only about 1km from blue creek dam so a lot shorter than if we had to walk from the start of track. Spotted the bazooka on the way in and made a quick find. TFTC
Cheryl found this one in great condition with excellent coords.

We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns.
Today, we took a drive out toward Wauchope, exploring a few 4WD tracks which ended up taking us south as far as Herons Creek for the day. We had no difficulty in locating the cache and yes, it was fully loaded with ants today With our name added to the log book, we continued on our way along the track
Thank you pprass for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Nabbed on a solo caching day on the motorbike. Score so far today:10.5/15. Clever and straight forward hide, in and out in a mater of minutes. TFTC
This was our 3rd find along the blue creek dam trail, elected to walk as recent rain has created a number of deep puddles. About 100 metres from GZ, a number of four wheel drive enthusiasts drove past, we weren't expecting to see anyone down here. Once arriving at GZ we saw the Bazooka and found the cache along with a small colony of cockroaches.
Thanks for the cache pprass

Walking out this way with a group including a local historian and author interested in WW I events. So it was most appropriate to come across a cache called Bazooka. And a big bazooka it was too. TFTC pprass. Found 12/9/17 10:01 am.

Found and logged using the brilliant Cachly app for iPhone. Easy to use and with many great features for cachers of all levels.

We had organised with ozglory to go out together on Thursday, to find the caches going to Blue Creek Dam. Today Wednesday we get a phone call saying we're ready to go, not realising what day it was.
This is certainly a 4x4 track to get to the dam wall.
It looked like a cannon, which caught our attention to GZ.

Nice cache in a nice spot. caching certainly makes you see things in a different light. Before caching just a nice piece of nature, after caching a nice piece of nature that makes a good cache hide. Thank you once again for placing this cache. tnln sl. found with DiMorgan
Easy to spot this one, and very appropriate name. Also a clever Camo. Now to see if we can make it to the end. TFTC
TFTC, in the company of pprass & nursehaley, after more slashing away like madmen at anything even close to the track we reached a picturesque GZ to find the clever cache, have a F.P.
Found with ThousandYardStare and CO pprass, the fellas continued to wave their machetes around to clear the access- arrived at GZ I spotted the likely hidey spot for this cache. Very well done with the container, really blends in well. Fav point given also for the hard work. TFTC pprass
