Logs
Found by F, on our big park and grab mission today. Cool location, no planes taking off while we were there. TFTC!
Quick park n grab, even managed to watch a plane take off while we were here tftc
Bother. Wanted to leave a teachable but too small! No plane moving but can see why a great spot it would be! Thanks
Out for a plane spot with the third of thewinter4 & decided to go caching after watching the A320 from AKL land. GPS was bouncing around a lot but managed to find cache relatively easily. Log was slightly damp so dried as best I could. Replaced cache inverted to try & stop water entering again. TFTC tuitigger
Nice quiet spot, watched a small plane takeoff but had to head to the other side of the airport myself before the big one got into the air.
A nice quick find thanks. A Stewart Island plane landed and a wee plane took off whle we were in the area. Cheers
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised around Invercargill. The place has changed a bit since we used to live there in the 80's, but then again it is still recognisable.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Spent what felt like too long trying to find this, we were about to give up when I had 1 last look, widened my search area and found it, tftc
Nothing taking off. All very quiet. Snagged this one. Cheers.
Friday 30 October. Its exploring Sandy Point again today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

About 1 minute late to see a plane leaving but a flash looking helicopter instead.

Great timing! I watched a plane take off in the gale force winds, filling me with hope that I will be fine on the later departure! TFTC!!

Temporarily disabling to enhance the Taking Off event on 5th of October at 0900.
Well this is an important weekend. The first regional jet service in NZ started with the first direct flight service from Invercargill to Auckland. Flights are a bit early/late for a sleepy head like me so you will have to make do with this which is a Dehavilland Canada Dash ZK-NED from Wellington in the pouring rain.
This seems a popular location for plan spotters. Had to nudge a guy with a camera out of the way as I acquired the cache.

Figured my car was so filthy may as well traverse another gravel road today. Just missed a landing but caught the takeoff of NZ5708 heading to Christchurch. (AT75 turboprop) Positioning could have been better halfway to cache twas just a dot by the time I caught a pic at GZ. tftc TT
We can not believe that this one hasn't been found for more than a year! It took a bit of finding this morning but one the search area was widened, boom, there it was. Just as the log was being signed, an ATR600 landed beside us so Deane was entertained by this as well. This is an awesome spot for a cache and it gets a fav point from us. TFTC TT [^]
Sneaky little hide that wethreefourdices over looked but we didn’t give up and log signed soon TFTC
Took us a little while searching around the whole area but a find in the end! Hooray tftc
Nice easy find with CatseyesNZ. It's raining and cool at last!! A plane is due in 20 minutes but we've decided not to wait. TFTC
Quick find with ThelittlesNZ. Nice to see some rain today, so opting for some park and grabs. No planes, tftc
Dropped off the elder daughter at the airport then chauffeured by Saethwr for some caches.
Probably should have headed here first and seen her flight take off, but gave the chauffeur wrong instructions so am here now, but there is another taking off so all is not lost. Saethwr chose to stay in the car so no smilie for her.

Found it just as the Chch bound ATR 72 was taking off. Thanks for the hide Tuitigger
I arrived in Invercargill this morning for a few days work here. This is the first time I've been this far South in 50 years - and I was just a toddler on my previous visit... I had a couple of hours to spare before getting down to work today so went off to find a few caches. Having landed at the airport not so long ago it was interesting to see it from another angle. Didn't take too long to find the cache after my GPS settled down. TFTC, Biggles.
Had a little wander around while my gps settled - always went back to the same spot and there is was TFTC- didn’t even realise this road existed. Learning every day . Plane had just landed as I arrived
Nice place. Not all airports allow people this close. No traffic at this time though. TFTC.

A great spot for a cache, would have been nice if a plane had have arrived or departed while we were there.
Thanks for the cache Tuitigger

Spotted a new cache so a quick stop and grab in my lunch break great hide atr was getting ready to go tftc
Waited for farmer muggle to leave and took the side road to the GZ. Relatives used to manage the farm yonks ago. SL TFTC
All fights grounded due to fog tonight. Second to find @ 2358. Great to have some new caches. TFTC
FTF @ 11.44pm. Seen the new caches come up and thought why not. So it was a quick trip out through the fog to GZ, no flying tonight, but a log signed after a short hunt. Thanks for the cache tuitigger and great seeing some more caches out and about
Took the long way around on way home and popped down the road to grab the little one. Great camo Fraser. Lots of little planes circling and the Stewart Island flight was taxiing for take off. Returned the other disturbed thing back into it's place. TFTC
