Found it, but it dropped down the hide out of reach, while getting the cap off.
Will need maintenance. Sorry.

Met up with a fellow wearing a hiviz vest. He came over to let us know that several bus load of school kids would shortly be invading the area to join in on the National Tree Day celebration. When we assured him we were only staying for a short time as we had just found what we were looking for, he commented “oh, you’re geo caching are you!” A simple find in a logical spot.
Our fourth big day in a row out and about in Mackay with Temingi. We’ve had a great time driving all over the area looking for caches, and have had a pretty good find rate. Today is a bit of a contrast with an overcast sky and some drizzle in the air, quite different from the clear, sunny skies we’ve had up until now. Makes for very comfortable caching though, which is good.
Thanks again to all of the local CO’s. You make this fantastic pastime possible, and open up your local area to us blow ins from the south. Your efforts are very appreciated.

This one tricked us last time. We foolishly logged a maintenance request but have realised we should’ve looked harder.
Nice job on the hide

Cap has been broken and cache appears to be missing. Can see the brownish glue that was used to hold it but it has been taken or broken.
It appears it has been taken or dropped inside the pole. Looking back at previous pictures There is damage to the cap that is attached too.

This was a fun one. These cache hiding places are some of my favourites
I have never seen one done like this before. Good little DIY job. Maybe needs a new plastic bag - I didn’t have one on hand.

A morning walk before work. was successful in locating 3 or the 5 i tried. Thanks for the hide
This breaks a frustrating DNF streak. Thank goodness, I was about ready to hang up the cacheing boots. On my way with the Night st the Museum mystery. TFTC.
Mackay Day2
Today we decided to cache closer to the city. We usually find caching in unfamiliar towns quiet frustrating. Hubby was out on his bike & located a couple of caches.
We found a good variety of caches in some amazing locations.

I'm the first DNF on this one. Sums up the day i have been having. Read all the logs. Looked at the photos. Knew what container I was looking for but still no joy. Oh well. Another day maybe.
Continuing my clean yup of new caches in Mackay after a good dinner.
Quick find here and then on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache

Found easily because of the damage. Had some repair equipment with me, so fixed it for you. Did a slight mod so that damage shouldn't happen again. Another awesome hide.
Stumped initially as to where this could be (if the GPS was to be believed), but it was pretty obvious. The lid is a little cracked which might invite muggle investigation.

Found and signed log while nomading around the country...conyainer is loose and falls off, we had to fish it out...TFTC
After the Australia Day event, we spent the rest of the day caching. This was our 2nd stop to pick up a few in the vicinity. T4T $
Could not find it so went and found another cache. Came back and looked again but needed some extra tools to extract it as it went to far. Made a temp fix to stop it happening again.
Quick and easy find on my way past. Thanks LOC2017 for the new hides around Mackay
While Mr X was training in MacKay I got out to collect some steps and caches in the area. Parked near the hospital and enjoyed a really nice walk nice. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache and the walk. Melbourne
was out and about
so decided to stop and grab this one ...
no worries here [^]
actually, I was doing a geocache retrieval [?][?][?]
I actually had an unpublished cache sitting no more than 25m away
(and it has been sitting there for quite awhile too)
with a new published cache in the area ...
thought that I may as well recycle mine, to place somewhere else
so 1 cache retrieved, and 1 cache signed

With my geo-dad out of action following a shoulder reconstruction and me getting him out of the house for a while we decided to see whether we could find Flat Dog! A brief search of GZ soon had the prize in hand! The find making a total of 350 finds for me - a nice number! Well placed.
*FTF*
Out chasing another FTF when this one came up.
Had to go for it because that's what I do.
Arrived at GZ and there were 2 fisher muggles waiting for a lift.
Read the info for the GC and looked around.
Not many places to hide but took a punt on 1 that looked likely and had the prize in hand.
Nice hide.
Thanks LOK2017.
