Oh dear! We looked for about 45 minutes in rather unpleasant surroundings! So many thorns and ants etc ... We upturned almost every piece of deadwood there and could not find it. There were loads of containers lying around scattered and some we opened just in case but didn't seem like could have been caches. The GPS sent us in all directions.
Long search in fading light, found an empty ice cream container, but I don’t think that’s the cache. Hint is a bit vague, the place is covered with dead wood ?!
Pretty sure I’ve found it. But there’s no log. The contents have been emptied.
My second find in the area.
I followed the path until I was close and then had to wait for a couple of muggles to stroll past before I could head into the bush past the rotting corpse of an Ibis
This was a quick find. I love this type of container.

Just before lunchtime went on a Butterfly hunt!! No luck!! But located a good size cache instead....Thanks Kronski 75....
Quite an adventure getting to GZ, passing some huge spiders in webs on the way!
Soon found when we got there and thanks for the adventure, our grandchildren loved it.

I was coming through the Gold Coast in April 2019 and saw these caches, they seemed familiar so I checked it out.. yep, found, but for some reason unlogged. I definitely remember the hourish I spent wandering around this great wetland area. Saw quite a few birds too, almost easy to forget there was so much traffic chaos nearby. The caches were pretty easy to find, but the one on the island took a little longer - I even startled (or got startled by) a wallaby very close to GZ. was about to give up and then as usually happens, found it after returning to where I began my search.
My thanks go to Kronski75 for these caches here, It was a pleasure visiting this area so thanks for bringing me here.

Nice one, classic cache in a classic hide ... Interesting spot too, a patch of wilderness resisting the advance of the developers.
Wandered around to this one, loved the little bridge across the creek then in to the bush for an easy find, unfortunately no TBs in the cache, only been one visitor since they were dropped off.Good big container.TFTC.
Enjoying our exploration of this lake and park but unfortunately no butterflies spotted here - though a cache was!!! Thanks.
We took a lovely walk through the bush and found a cache in a neat hidey spot, what a shame there was no swag in such a big container. TFTC
We couldn't believe no one had gone for these and felt sure that someone must have found them and not logged their find electronically. It had been several hours since publication. We were heading to dinner at a daughter's home tonight so thought we'd leave early enough to find these on the way and see who had been first to find. We parked at a nearby location and bush bashed a short distance until we found a good path which we followed until it veered away from the direction of GZ. Leaving the path there we had a reasonable walk through bush to GZ where we feel fortunate to have made a fairly quick find of a nice sized cache. Hallelula - the logbook was clean. We signed the log at 4:55pm for a FTF on our own, but only just. We'd not long replaced everything and started to move away when we heard voices through the bushes and in a minute or two there was Snickersallen and E(: who'd just made their way there from the cache at Waterlily Lake where they'd made a FTF. We were going to head there last but ran out of time at the next cache as it took quite a while. Thanks for the excitement this afternoon Kronski75. We enjoyed the caches we found and really liked the area that seems to be blessed with plenty of birdlife. Cheers and happy caching! [^][^] Oh, and we picked up the cute trackable to move along.
After finding Waterlily Lake, E(: and myself headed off in search of some butterflies but as we were approaching the GZ area we heard voices and discovered team Aussie Liahona were here and were just about to head off on their way to the next cache called Cormorant Isle. We found the neat hide and decent sized container but sad to say no butterflies were seen around here today.
Thanks Kronski75 for another good hide and TFTC
