After spending a couple of days at Gordon Country it was time to head back to Brisbane. We left early so we could detour via Kalbar and some of the local geocaches in the area. All was good here and we found the cache without any dramas.TFTC
Quick find as easily seen on approach. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely little cemetery
Very amazing how many cemeteries in this little area.Easy find here.Took me longer to roll the log back up then to find the cache. In perfect condition.TFTC!
Out and about today with karen rinora. We enjoyed touring the area and finding a few smilies along the way. Spot on coords meant we could walk right up to it. TFTC!
Took the motorhome for its monthly spin in the country today. We started by visiting a dragon fruit farm out near brown plains and then headed out for a country pub lunch. Id been through this region last year and had it marked as somewhere to come for a day trip. Cache was quickly located and log signed. Returned to its hidey hole and off to find the next cache.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Quaint little place tucked in between a couple of houses..the direction of the sunlight helps..
Sorry for the late logAfter making our way across the longest shortcut (Laverton WA to Winton QLD)After supprising family and doing a bit of caching around Townsville,After heading north to catch up with friends, We are now travelling south. We're stopping in Boonah for a few days, so Miss Jane can catch up with an old friend.A quick find was made, and the logbook was signed. TB visited your cacheTFTC
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches so I thought "why not?"
Funny how when you stop you get an idea of where you think the cache will be and start walking in that direction, only to find the needle on the compass is NOT pointing there.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Found in the likely place, I enjoy cemetery caches - looking at the history and going back in time.

After spending the weekend camped at Lake Moogerah, I am on my way home via Kalbar to pick up the last 2 wp's for an ad lab. Another cemetery to visit.
Checked one place but still couldn't find it then realised it could be over there.. at this new location found the cache quickly. Log signed cache returned.
Neighbours dogs not happy seeing visitors here today.

On our way home after xmas with the family at Redland Bay, then a couple of days with son at Bahrs Scrub. Needed a few to bump up my grid so decided to detour of the highway to Kalbar and grab a few caches.
In need of a REST, we used the caches in Kalbar to help. I can't believe how many little cemetaries this town has. This was the last of the RESTs and I found it very quickly, just as well I am not too tall, cos I would have to bend down to it. Not wasthi, more like hiphi. Thanks Aussie Liahone for a reason to visit and a fave point for today's fun

A quick stop on my way between Sunday services from Boonah to Harrisville.
Two little dogs were on guard duty on their side of the fence and alerted everyone to my movements, but I’m sure the owners who called them away have seen it all before. I thanked them for looking after the cache on my way out.
That’s a teeny tiny cache, quite well camouflaged down here.
All good inside so TFTC!

Chest height? For Tyrone Lancaster maybe!. Thrilled to be first to sign the new log.
No trouble location the container once NurseyJulie and I got our eyes on the right level. We initially started scanning too high to track the cache down. As suggested in previous logs, there is no more room for scribbling names, so I squeezed both of our initiails in between finders names at the top part of the log. With business done we hit the road.
Cheers Aussie Liahona.

Out and about with Gunnie69 today. Had a look at one spot and then the other. He spotted it after we made the rounds. TFTC
Stopped in town for lunch and to find a few caches
log needs to be to be replaced as no room to sign.
Thanks.

A intresting gateway to this cemetery , old twisted forged chain. Along with a nuisance guard. The log was signed ( which is very full ). and replaced . Thanks Aussie Liahona , ps had no replacement that size ,sorry.
Probably the smalllest cache I've ever found! Such a peaceful spot on an drizzly overcast day. TFTC
This weekend, with a scheduled Mount Alford wedding, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I used the occasion to base ourselves at Boonah for a long weekend exploring the Scenic Rim vicinity.
On Friday, we took a short stop in Ipswich before arriving in Boonah staying in an ex-church accommodation.
On Saturday, we explored Mount French, Boonah, Lake Wyaralong, and then returned via Kalbar completing the *Churches of the Scenic Rim !* Adventure Lab.
On Sunday, we took a hike up Mount Greville, and after checking out a few stops along Reynolds Creek, we returned to Boonah for showers, before driving back home.
Today, we had a few activities planned, starting out with a morning drive up to Mount French for a short walk, and we got to see the awesome rock climbing walls. We then had a Boonah lunch geocaching event that was well attended. During the afternoon, we relaxed at a winery next to Lake Wyaralong, and then returned via Kalbar completing the *Churches of the Scenic Rim !* Adventure Lab. We also managed to make a quick stop at the sunflower farm as they started to flower whilst the season/timing was right.
This was our final Kalbar cemetery cache after doing the round robin, and a short walk through the cemetery had us make this cache find reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is starting to look pretty full. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Today was a day for girls to get out and have some fun!! Coz they just wanna, they just wanna, oh girls just wanna have fun! And that’s exactly what SaintsMadHouse, KBreeAHH, Cosmonaut95 and I were going to do. That and some maintenance for SaintsMadHouse and friends along the way.
Hmmm chest height? Well upon arriving at GZ, we did wonder about that, and did a loop around before spotting the cache…. Sooo it actually was chest height - KBreeAHH’s chest height perhaps
Logs signed today as SMH+3

Found as part of SMH+3. First caching trip up here since I've moved back to Brisbane. TFTC.
Found during a Day out with Cosmonaut97, 1MinnieMoo and KbreeAhh. Lots of laughs and antics throughout the day. Some of the finds were geocachews I have adopted and needed to find and maintain. Others were new to me and some maintenance was also done on any we found to be in need of some TLC.
Found these with graceygirl1234 when visiting the sunflower farm. A good few caches within a lovely little area! TFTC
MrsWallaby's favourite places to cache Found easily and enjoyed taking in the history. TFTC
This was the smallest and shiniest find for today. Got in and out of the area quickly as the weather was not ideal today. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
Out on some caching adventures with Kolour, after climbing Mount Edwards we decided to collect some local caches before heading over to Mount French.
This one was quickly found, after signing the log we replaced the cache as found.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.

After climbing Mt Edwards with Willis007 we picked up a few caches in the area including this one. Amazed at how many little cemeteries are in this area. The neighbouring dog wasn’t happy with us being nearby. Tftc
We came to Kalbar today for the Country Festival. Some great stalls and great hay bale art. Looked for the nearby caches whilst here. Can’t believe how many cemeteries there are in Kalbar!! Loved the hay bale here. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.
First stop for us today was picking up this cemetery cache we missed last time we were in Kalbar. We were early to Kalbar Country Day by one weekend, but were still able to see some of the hay bale art strewn throughout the town. There was one here at the cemetery which really highlights the level of punnery in their given titles.
Cache itself was found with ease.

Hey its mid August and it is it winter. Really! More like spring when its a very warm 26c and very few clouds in the sky. Parked the car beside the road and strolled over to GZ. I think we woke up the dogs next door to with their high pitch barking. Home owner was not interested in what we were doing, just telling the dogs to shut up. Back to caching, found it with no trouble. Signed the log and placed back where found for the next cacher to find. TFTC Aussie Liahona
Last one for today and whilst hubby tucked into a local pie I made my way to this last cemetery
Based at Mt Alford and this is one of the caches we targeted and found. Love the scenery in this area. An interesting old cemetery. Thanks for hiding and enhancing our enjoyment of the area.
I decided to go for a drive today. Saturday was huge and I didn't want to waste my Sunday. With no plan, I got in my car and headed vaguely south. After dodging a drive up Mount Tamborine, I headed for Beaudesert, then Boonah where I detoured to Mount French. While there I looked again at the map and saw a nice collection of Aussie Liahona geocaches at Kalbar. Some of the infamous 'Resting' series too!
Kalbar is always a lovely place to visit - small but well looked after and wonderful views. Plus a few cemeteries too! I would enjoy my time driving through! Arriving at the required area, I was surprised how green the surrounds are. Being somewhat distracted, plus kinda cocky, I put my phone in my pocket and headed for the likely hiding area. And it turned out to have no geocache. Checking the phone app again, I re-adjusted and headed to the actual GZ.
While there was a chap mowing his lawn within sight, it seems I was rather alone today with nobody watching. I found the little geocache and managed to sign the very end of the log roll on one side, so got to enjoy re-rolling the entire length! But we're in no rush anyways. Thank you Aussie Liahona for bringing me to an interesting place, and back to Kalbar

We have come out this was to see the amazing hay sculptures in Kalbar. Glad we can cache along the way. So many cemeteries in this area.
My third country cemetery today.... and by the time I got here I had the added bonus of rain...

After a walk up a mountain with Wayn0 we did a few quicker caches in the area.

Thank you for placing this geocache Aussie Liahona

Our 4th stop at a cemetery. We are working our way through the religions. We went straight for the cache first and chikinlittler was quick to say "I can see it". Yeah, that could have taken some time. We then went for a walk over to the other massive tree and the kids naturally had to have a climb. It was amazing how smooth and deep green the trunks of the tree were. We walked around the graves taking time to read them all and contemplate and remember the souls beneath. Thanks for another great cache.
Out for a country drive/maintenance run with my muggle friend today.
Attended cache and checked.
Cheers and happy caching!

Another cache, another cemetery, who would've thought it!
Sun was getting hot so the younger kiddo stayed in the car whilst the older one was too excited to care for the heat. Jumped out and over the rusty fence/gate (not sure if it's a gate coz I'm really not sure if it even opens).
Off we went to the suspicious looking tree and sure enough there's a cache hanging in the tree. Log was signed, cache replaced and hidden as best we can before racing each other back to the car. MOre of a case of getting back to the aircon first.
Thanks Aussie Liahona,

A nice long walk from the showgrounds to this peaceful spot. The Country Day is in so we can browse the stalls in a he way back. TFTC
I think finding 9 caches yesterday got Mrs VC all fired up & keen for more so we headed out Boonah way to escape the ratrace for a short while.
This is #17 of 21 caches found today.
Quick park & grab.
The log came out nice & easily, without a magnet.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Visited the cache, removed the difficult log and left a new one.
For any of these and the plain nanos a pencil magnet, or any kind of magnet will remove the log with ease as they have a little metal strip in the centre.
Cheers and happy caching!

While heading up this way to check up on Mr Just a Trifle's father, we stopped by for a quick visit to the Kalbar Cemetery to visit various relatives and to find a cache while we were at it.
The cache was easily located and in good condition.
Thank you Aussie Liahona for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

It was time to be heading home and this was the last cache in the area so I wanted to clear the map by finding it.
The wind was still blowing a gale as I headed to the search area and I was a bit concerned as it appears that the immediate area may have been recently burnt.
Anyway, I started the search and, luckily, I spotted the shiny cache.

I had overshot the mark with my navigating and come into Kalbar from the east so, after finding the last one I headed here. When I entered the cemetery and saw the distance to the cache, I figured it would be in the big tree near the graves. But, as I approached that, the arrow veered left and I felt a little exposed walking towards a lonely tree in the middle of an empty field, especially with the large volume of traffic passing on the road. The cache eluded me for the first couple of circuits of the tree but then I spotted it. I had been looking for something larger. As I got back to the car, a tractor trundled along the road and I was then stuck behind it until I got to the turn off to the next cache.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

Spent some time around Kalbar today and located the caches at the various cemeteries. We like the area and enjoyed the hunt. Thanks Aussie Liahona.
Not the easiest place to stop due mainly to heavy traffic and ti.e of day. Found with The X-Trailers as we explored the town. TFTC
This is the decond time we have been to this cemetery ti find a cache, this one was much easier to find than the other. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC

Heading out for a walk up Mt Edwards this morning. Some time on the way to round up a few waifs and strays.
Have I been here before too? Maybe, maybe not. There seems to be a lot of graveyards in this area.
Nice view of the hills from here.
