1415 for the tribeThe tribe is exploring the Trinity Beach and Palm Cove area today and aiming to grab a few caches as we do so. This area is special to us as we visited here many years ago before we were geocachers and before there was a tribe of us! Back then there were just two, and one on the way. Found: 10.43We make a nice hike from Clifton beach to Palm Cove. With the hint, there were not too many options for the cache location (assuming the coordinates are accurate), but still it took a little while to spot this little one!

We think the cache has been taken., sign looks like it has been hit and/or redug into the ground. Could CO please come and check

Suspect it is missing. Looks like work has had to be done around it.

Yesterday we arrived in Palm Cove and today we did a long beach walk. This cache was on our way back. TFTC and greetings from Germany.

We were visiting friends in the area before they had to rush off so we came and did a quick walk along this track.

We continued our walk from Palm Cove to Clifton Beach. By comparison, this area was so peacefully quiet and almost the entire beach was empty.
We love looking at the enormous paper bark trees here, they are so much bigger than any we have seen further south.

Walked from Clifton Beach to Palm Cove on Good Friday today - a bit of drizzle with a strong southerly - when at GZ it actually rained hard so that gave me time to do the deed of signing and reconstructing this rascal cache type.

Keep left for success. Nice bike track.

Great cache!

Mrs Ski fizzed around for a few minutes waiting for a muggle to move on, and then completely missed this one. On the other hand, Mr Ski got out of the car and put his hand on it straight away!
We’re currently staying at Kewarra in our caravan with our niece and her family having escaped the winter and Covid lockdowns back home in Victoria. Decided that today we would drive up to Port Douglas and check out all the lovely little spots we have just driven by on our previous visits. A lovely bonus to find quite a few caches as we travelled. Thanks to all the local CO’s for placing and maintaining them.
