Day #12. My last minute WAGB adventure continues today and there is only one full day left. I was running behind on my caching schedule (no surprises there) so I started in Bunbury in the morning and headed towards Mandurah in the arvo. Thank goodness for late checkins.I dropped by to calculate this one and realised the final was not as close as hoped. I set off and searched, and searched, and searched. Eventually I gave up and upon returning to the car I rechecked my numbers for a third time and realised one of them was wrong. It was enough to make a 30m difference.Upon searching the new location it was a near instant find. A big thanks goes to pommieparkin2 for taking the time to add PP2 - Take A Seat to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).

Solved this one a while ago, but just had a chance to solve it now. Thanks for the cache. Nice place to take the dog for a walk.

12-Jul-23
Patch had duties on the Swan this afternoon so Spot headed south. All in quite useable condition here. Thanks for the bit of History here PP2 and giving Spot a bit of a challenge.

This was an enjoyable multi and with some numbers calculated we headed off to GZ where the cache was soon spotted. All good with this one, log signed and replaced as found. A fav from us for a great multi. Thanks pommieparkin2.

Full time nomads since February 2014, here to visit family.

Now staying in East Rockingham for a few days. Mr Felix headed out to find 2 caches close to home. This cache has taken a few days to finally add our name to the log. It really helps if you don't write the coords out wrong. questions and calculations were okay but when entering into the fomula put 2 digits back to front and needless to say there was no cache to be found.
With the right coords now entered in the gpsr our name is finally in the log. Red Face

Walking with the geomissus and newly minted geokid! Our first cache found together, not that he knew it (zzzzzz...)

15-Apr-22
Find 6 of 16 with five DNFs on a beautiful Good Friday ride-y around Rockingham after earlier paddling over to Penguin Island.

Parkins get everywhere. On our way to Dome for a break in the middle of our 25km ride - it was sorely needed - we called in here to do the sums. Not entirely impressed with the location that we came up with but it looked plausible and we headed to it after fuelling with tea/coffee and a giant chocolate eclair, yum. A quick find at our GZ which was a relief, and it put us on a nice trail for a while, so that was a bonus.

TFTC pommieparkin2!

We tired but didn’t have those extra few brain cells to comprehend haha. The dog enjoyed the walk tho and his run after the birds.

07-Jan-22
Second trip SOR in as many days - not quite so far today though, just a loop to Rocko and back Smile This was one of the caches I stopped off at. Quickly found the info at WP1 then retreated to the AC'd car to work out the next stop. Soon had some numbers and while they looked good, they were further away than expected. Did a double check but same result. Stored away to pick up later. Still had a niggle on the numbers but in the meantime did WP1 of another nearby multi which gave a similar final location - ah ok, that gives confidence Smile Headed to GZ after lunch on the foreshore and was happy to make a nice quick find after a short walk Smile Nice multi - TFTC

TFTC nice walk trail

New month, new souvenir so another excuse for Mr dimor and I to do a little road trip.
As only having today and tomorrow to get the souvenirs I couldn't allow the heat to beat us but sadly didn't get as many as I would have liked, oh well there is always tomorrow.

With my knees being 'crap' for ages and getting worse with each day I wasn't sure about a small walk to a few but pushed on and will suffered later.

Our first one for the day.

Great little multi this one. Thanks guys for taking me here.

01-Mar-21
It was getting late in the day when I started gathering the information needed to solve this one. There was someone sleeping on one of the benches but luckily it was next to the one I needed. After sitting down and making some calculations, I came up with a what looked like viable coords. Off I went. Realised something was awry once I searched my spot. Checked my calculations again like I should have done the first time and saw the error!
It was now quite dark but I managed to find the cache with my phone torch. Happy days!! And a lovely pathtag inside too to add to my collection Thanks PP2 FP added.

01-Mar-21
Attempted a few multi's this afternoon. Didn't get wet until the last one - this one. Made a quick find at final GZ. Happy to say I managed 3/4 multi's completed.

Thanks for the multi case.

07-Jun-20
Guess what? I logged this cache on the 7/6/2020 as Hidden History which is nearby and dropped off two TB’s. A few weeks ago resolving finals for this area I realised my mistake. Today, 4/8/2020 I came back, re-signed the log picked up the TB’s again.

I certainly label my notebook better than what I did a couple of months ago now.

Finally turned this frown upside down thanks for the challenge of this workout PP2 I’m really starting to enjoy these caches, even if my maths skills require google to learn what & how to solve it. Thanks

24-Nov-19
A very early start today, I came to complete the new Lab cache, so once that was completed I started on some other nearby caches, I got my charging cable caught and it’s now in 2 pieces and with only 13% left I had to cut my caching morning short tftc

11-Oct-19
I am currently visiting WA from Adelaide, re-visiting old places, exploring nee ones, catching up with friends and relatives and searching out and in many cases, being guided by, caches of interest along the way.

After staying near Rockingham for a couple of nights, today I slowly made my way via a rather convoluted path, towards Perth.

Plenty of seats here to choose from! Collected the information, did the calculations, then it was off for a short drive and walk to make the find.

Thanks pommieparkin2 for the cache.

08-Sep-19
After good look we got it

30-Jun-19
A nation wide team effort as usual to solve anything involving maths! I do dead people, he does dead numbers, fortunately, as his spot was less stressful at dusk than mine would have been.

Calculated to GZ coordinates last night and collected the find tonight. Thanks pommieparkin2

05-Oct-18
Loved the two stages, the distance and the next park location to this one but unfortunately dnf. We had a good look and are sure second stage coordinates are correct. Maybe worth checking on this one to make sure it’s still there.

22-Aug-18
Up and at'em this morning during my breif work trip to the West. I wantet to crack this cache the the nearby wherigo before heading into the office, but also managed the other multi by this CO. Big Grin

After obtaining the critical info, I ducked over to the other multi before heading to GZ. That turned out ot be a wise decision. Wink On the path to this one, it was a little damp under foot after recent rain and I really should have left the business gear in the hotel room, but in I went and soon spotted the container. [^]

Name in the log, I returned as found and made my way to the next.

Cheers pommieparkin2.

05-Aug-18

Thanks for the great cache.

23-Jun-18
This has been sitting solved for far too long and with the kids scootering nearby, I decided to swing by and grab these two multis.

It’s a shame that caches hey left open sometimes. Good to see this one survived.

pommieparkin2, Kyzabra found your cache PP2 - Take A Seat, at 3:35 pm on 23/6/18. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

We’d love to see you at WA GOES BIG 2018 in Dunsborough on the weekend of 13th/14th October.

Started this multi a few weeks ago when doing some local caches. Took the information home and got the final Wp. Today whilst waiting for the boys to do their final preparations to the 4wd’s for our weekend away I decided to duck out and grab a few caches. This one was found easily, log slightly wet but managed to sign our name. Tftc

16-May-18
Checked up on cache & cleaned it up. Good to go.

05-May-18
Finally got to this after finally working out what a digital root was and then working out how to enter the way point into the phone.

Took us 2 attempts to solve math aspect of puzzle, but eventually i had my 1600th find. Thanks for the hide

04-Nov-17
Some serious mental maths, rethink what digital root was (duh), doublecheck the includings and excludings and then assumed wrongly where cache would be so entered the scrub in beach footwear. Thankfully no grief to the tootsies and an easy find. TFTC.

28-Oct-17
In Rockingham for lunch on a very windy day. We had previously gather the required information while at WAGB 2017 but ran out of time to visit GZ. Our first stop today before lunch. Dropped in a TB.

Thanks pommieparkin2 for the cache.

24-Oct-17
Out for a morning of geocaching around Rockingham to get some more smileys on my map.

04-Oct-17
Cool cache.

04-Oct-17
In Rockingham today as the geoboys wanted to meet some Youtuber called Scooter Brad. We used the opportunity to grab a few more of the local caches we didn't have time to get over the WAGB17 weekend. The coords were collected easily enough and a quick find once at GZ, as the contents of the container were strewn everywhere. I've put it all back together and replaced as I thought it would have been hidden. TFTC Smile

The weather was too nice to be at home doing housework. So the minute Paul indicated that he was interested in going to Rockingham for some Pokemon business I was in the car like a shot Razz So left Paul to his game, sat in the car to work out the final co-ords after making a big mistake previously . Arrived at a more promising GZ and happy to find the cache very quickly. Nice cammo, SL TFTC & multi PP2. Adding to our favourites for the whole series - how clever of you to find all of this "Parkin" information in Rockingham Big Grin

23-Sep-17
2 "wild goose " chases looking for the final today. Will try again ...

Out for a day of caching with Patrol14 around Rockingham before heading back to the east coast tomorrow. Weather stayed mostly dry. Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches around the Rockingham area.

10-Sep-17
After attending the WAGB event, we decided that it was time we headed out to find a few caches... We had worked out the co-ordinates earlier on in the day & headed straight here after leaving the event Smile We followed the trail straight to GZ where the well camoed cache was soon found!

Thanks pommieparkin2 [^]

10-Sep-17
We worked out the coordinates yesterday and went looking for the cache but it appears we had not worked the numbers correctly, so today armed with an updated set of coordinates we headed out and found the cache. Should have paid attention as we walked right by it yesterday and there is a well defines geo trail heading into the cache. Many thanks for the cache and bringing us to this nice piece of bushland.

10-Sep-17
Like most people (I think), I worked out the coordinates yesterday but it wasn't until today that I went for the find. I passed some other cachers on the final approach to GZ and enjoyed the brief chat before we split. Liked the camo on this one, very nice, and definitely needed due to the nice little geotrail after the WA Goes Big event weekend!

10-Sep-17
Great trip down from Dongara / Geraldton region to Mandurah / Rockingham for the WA Goes Big 2017 Event.

With an early start of 8am headed to the event to find half way there that we were missibg some vital equipment, so headed back got what was needed and headed back towards the event arriving a little bit after 9:30..

Signed in and started to meet new friends for the competition stamps and signatures (which we didnt win...  oh well ), we did however see many milestones achieved and scored a trackables and pathtags..

We also did what seemed to be the mandatory walk around the nearby oval to find the local caches with a bit of help for and from us during the walk

Great event thanks to the organisers and sponsors

After a lot of help from fellow cachers and the CO we had the final Co-Ords in hand and the log signed later on after the CITO event

10-Sep-17
tftc pommieparkin was out with hhhedy and we gathered the info and headed out but no cache. so back to the event and some more information was gathered and off we went again and found it very quickly this time.

10-Sep-17
Thanks for the effort to hide this cache, especially for the WA GOES BIG 2017
My kids loved it and so did we - loved the history on this one - great seeing you guys at the event

10-Sep-17
Worked out the coordinates for this one yesterday but only got around to checking it out this evening. Even though after dark, we were still able to follow a well worn path into GZ. We were obviously the last of a very long list of finders. Many thanks Pommieparkin2 Smile

10-Sep-17
Thanks for taking us on this adventure pommiparkin2. Wasn't sure if I had got this right but when I arrived there was a fresh well worn track into the cache container. Nice well stocked camouflaged container.

10-Sep-17
Stopped by WAGB17 HQ to work out the coordinates for this before coming to get the grab prior to the amazing race.

I think coming for this one the day after the main event helped quite a bit with a well worn path right to the cache.

TFTC.

Stopped past here in between packing up WAGB and heading to the CITO.

A weekend away with SEMIK and Phoenix Flare so we could attend WA Goes Big 2017, and what an amazing weekend we had. The location was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed many of the quality caches that had been placed in the immediate area!

Our last cache for the night. We had done all the ground work at the event GZ in the morning, and it turns out the final location was 250m from our accomodation, so after returning from our night adventures, we went for one last walk in the night.

This was find number 23 of 23 for the day for me. TFTC pommieparkin2!

Was proud to represent SA with RideTheGeoWalrus and SEMIK during WAGB.

Another cool multi here and a fave point from me Big Grin. I loved the camo on the container [^]

Smile I do enjoy a good multi and try to complete as many as I can when time permits. I was in the area today and stopped by to work out the coords for this one. A well constructed multi here topped off with a nice hide to finish. Thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC Smile.

pommieparkin2 - jinta29 found your cache PP2 - Take A Seat on 9/9/17, 9:45 am. This is my find #8381 and find #5 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

At the WA Goes Big Event and I came out here to gather the info for this multi. After a few false starts, complete with wrong seat, I had some coordinates that looked interesting. Teaming up with rudi63 I headed off to what I hoped was the correct ground zero...Yep, I managed to get it right after all.

Thanks for the cache pommieparkin2, it was cache number 2245 for me and was number 2 in my run of 3 for today's geocaching effort.

Cheers Cool
