I had 4 hours to burn here and thankfully there was a cache! It is times like these I wish I was more artistic. I've had a work trip to Denver, as well as a couple of days up in the mountains, and now heading back to Melbourne. Thanks for keeping us entertained during the wait!

Find #4255. Found @ 08:55

My first cache find in the United States.

While waiting for a connecting flight to Chicago, I got my travelling companion to take a picture of my artwork and an LAX food sign.

So far, my experience of being in the United States consist of shuffling around from queue to queue.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed nothing and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Virge.

With a three hour layover on our way from Detroit to Hawaii, it was sure great to find a cache for the souvenir. Panda Express provided a palette for the artwork which we completed as we had lunch. Thanks so much for placing this for all of us tourists passing through.

Today we made the long trip from Amsterdam to Vegas. Our connecting flight was in Los Angeles and after 12 hours we were sleepy searching in short time our gate to Vegas. We passed this point taking time for a picture for this virtual. Hoping this will do as proof we were there we enclose the picture.
CO, thanks for placing this virtual cache, so we can enjoy our hobby.

Surprisingly fun. I love to doodle. This art I created on the flight from Vancouver British Columbia to here intending to find the appropriate LAX to photo op with the art. This art is representative of a pretty epic trip for me. I traveled with friends to the ranch in British Columbia where there were wildfires......just before we left less than a 10 day period there was a snowfall of 12 inches. A blessing for the fire situation for sure. All of the things that I did are in this art minus the snowmen. Thanks for this cool virtual. i took several photos in various locations.

Flying through LAX and noticed this new virtual. Since I stayed a few hours at the USO I used that as the backdrop for my little napkin art.

Thanks for creating this new virtual cache with the nice write-up about LAX

I love airport caches and couldn’t believe my luck here in LA with yet another chance to add to my list. So the items in the picture should be obvious but why on earth do I have them with me.

It’s easy I am headed to Las Vegas and I am hosting an event so I have my Name badge from the Giga this year and my traveling log book. Please feel free to discover the bug if you happen to look at the picture.....and I really hope the CO of the cache will do so.

Such a fun cache! It was the perfect way to spend my layover Best start to my journey I could have asked for.

Travelled from New Zealand today on my way to London. I had a 5 hour stop over in LA, so what else would my sleep deprived self do but Geocache? I couldn't fully check in for 2 hours so looking around the best place to take a photo was the depatures board. It lists the name of the airport and helpfully has the date and time I was there.

Time to finish my extremely large coffee and head over to check in counter.

Thanks for the cache and giving me something to do while I waiting for my flight, by which I mean draw a terrible picture of a plane. #768

I received an awesome invitation to join a friend in Canada to have a visit with her mom. The area around Prince George has been ravaged by wildfires, but the community is standing strong. Thank for placing this at the airport for fellow traveling cachers to get some Smiley's they would otherwise not get. I wish there were more.

This trip has been planned for a very long time. It started with Sandbero having a crazy idea of going to the United States. Razz After a while, it seemed no longer so crazy but more like a trip we had to do. Big Grin

Soon we had gathered a group consisting of 7 people ready for this adventure.

We started looking for cool geocaches and cool places we wanted to visit. There were some given places we would definitely not miss, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, The Ape cache and HQ.

But as usual, there are always more excited places when you start to look a little closer and more places came to our "to do list".

When we were pleased with our plan, it appeared that it would include Mexico, Canada, and visits to Salt Lake City and further places. Big Grin

We quickly booked flights to both away and home travel and a hefty Chevrolet Suburban that would take us through the country. A more accurate timetable was made in order not to miss something important on our way Big Grin

It was a totally fun trip with awesome weather, good company and incredibly many cool experiences as I will remember all my life. [:D

We logged the whole trip with stamp with our names and GLE Go APE-2018.

Thanks to all CO who made this trip possible.
