Had great fun wandering all over venice trying to look for the clues. Had to get the information for part 1 out of a guidebook. Also I didn't have time to find clue 5 so I had to guess the relevant parts of the co-ordinates- naturally the clue came in very handy. Took a photo with the camera hidden at the cache site and dropped off a geocoin. Had to return after visiting the Murano Island cache to drop off some more, so I'm afraid the cache is rather stuffed at the moment.
Great cache

What a great tour done at high speed and probably in the wrong order! With only 4 hours we had a go at completing it all. Managed the 6 waypoints but ran out of time for the last but had heaps of fun on the way. Also thought we may have made a mistake with Part 2 as at the end calculation we got a negative figure??? So perhaps we would have had a problem with the co ords for the cache after all.
Thanks for the different sights of Venice 'Ol metal shnoze' was our favourite. Virjohn from Oz

What an adventure! After a little prior planning the night before (a spreadsheet in my Palm saved us some time on the day), we snaked our way along the narrow paths, idly chasing the GPS needle until late in the afternoon. We skipped one waypoint because of the queue and cost (some clearer disclosure on that point would have been nice), but it only affected the last decimal point. Only after getting the last of the waypoints did we realise that the final cache attack would have to wait until the next day, but it was worth the wait.

Thanks for a great alternative way to tour around Venice.

Greetings from Sydney, Australia.

We have been planning to do this cache for over two months - ever since we decided to go to Europe for a special trip. We have done a few cemetery related caches in Australia, so now it is time to do one in Europe. Once we got all the clues, we had some trouble in getting the right location because of my rusty knowledge of Roman numerals. But once I worked it out it was straight to the spot - well almost, just the wrong side of the wall at first!

Took - Hiking button
Left - Hawkey stone.

Thanks Daoloth for helping us to explore Venice in one day. Of all the cities we have visited, this is the best
