Wow, absolute fluke. Had a quick look then sat down with my searching partner. Was explaining what to look for in rough size and where to likely look, picked up one ad an example of size to show. What do you know, found it! Incredible!
I found this cache on my Mega Walk #25 - a 25,000 step through Williams Landing, Point Cook and a short add-on at the Docklands at the end of the day. After finishing the AdLab on the walk here, this one was now nearby. I had read up on this one and thought that it could be a really long search unless I got lucky. In the end, a moderate amount of time, but not too long. On finding the cache, I can see why people are saying that it is really, really good. That's because it is. Interesting to note that our 23rd ever find was just a few metres from here way back in 2004 and almost exactly 18,000 finds ago. Now for a 2km walk along the coast to the homestead. Thanks from D B-A
TFTC! 16 May 2024 4:23:00PM 8105 thanks to XtremeBs for the cache! 3rd time lucky here! It is certainly a great cache and love the camo!
Found with Eudes at 2:10pm near the end of our 10km walk around the park. Well they certainly were everywhere, so it looked a bit like an impossible task and didn't know whether we should be looking up or down. Fortunately I fluked picking the right one reasonably quickly - just didn't know at first that I had the cache in my hand. I'm claiming that I had an advantage as I have very similar cache in Roper Reserve, Broadmeadows - but mostly I think it was luck. Favourite point awarded. Now for the post-walk BBQ!thanks XtremeBs
Knowing this was close to the end of today's walk, we'd been mentally preparing ourselves for a tough hide. Once at GZ, it was reasonably clear what the camo would be but signing the log would be a different matter. As we searched and searched, the task looked daunting but thankfully after only a few minutes, Al gave that cry we all love to hear and we were signing the log at 14:10. Nice one. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks XtremeBs.
A very sneaky hide indeed. Spent a bit of time here, and found it after deciding to go through and check over the entire area a second time. It had definitely been handled a first time, but wasn't looked at closely enough. Fave point awarded.TFTC
Well that was bloody unbelievable.. never have we seen one as good as that!It is seemless cannot see it with eyes!Like everyone else we needed to take a different approach! Once we did it was found soon after. However, we also had already passed over this beautiful thing without knowing what it was.It been a very tactile exercise. We will long remember this amazing challenge!TFTC
Well well well…!
This was a slight nightmare and certainly had us looking everywhere.
We knew what we wanted to find, but the hint definitely doesn’t help, but rather confirms your fears of what you want to find.
A definite needle in a haystack.
Looking looking, searching, feeling and then it was a case of of “GF”….!
PrezDough and I couldn’t believe that we managed to get our hands on this one. We almost missed it.
Well done on the creation of this one. Classic.
Thanks so much for this one, we somewhat enjoyed it. Certainly finding it.

Today was the perfect day for avenging nemesis caches, and this is my latest nemesis cache. I searched long and hard for this chap a few weeks ago, with less than no success. I decided that I would search all day if necessary, but fortunately this time I found the little devil in les than half an hour. Methodical searching paid off. This is by far the best example of this type of hide that I have ever seen. Just brilliant.
I headed down to the costal park after work today as the weather was ok and as I had stated the Ad Lab that is also here last week so it was time to finish it off.
That job done so I thought lets se if I could get a little bit more frustrated as I have looked for this one before.
I was assuming that I knew what I was looking for so again I looked up, down, in and out and came up with nothing again.
Stood back took a couple of deep breaths and had one last look and I then had the cache in my hand for about a minute till I realised that I had found it.
As the hint said they are everywhere.
A fav goes out to you for this one.
Thanks XTremeBs TFTC.

I searched high and low for a very long time, but I have no idea where this cache is. It is now my nemesis cache and I will be back once I have more idea about what I am after and where it is located.
OMG. This was a doozy. Geoturtle and I needed to run an errand in the area so took the time to grab a cache or two whilst we were here. This one had us going for quite some time before we made a PAF call. The call at least narrowed down the basic location as we realised what we were going to be looking for when we arrived. GT picked up the cache, without realising, and showed me as she thought it looked good. It was only as she turned it around that she realised she had made the find. Thanks for this devious cache.
When we arrived at GZ, I didn't have much good to say as it was rather hot today and in here it was very still. We looked and searched and looked some more before contacting a PAF. That helped narrow down where we should be looking but it wasn't where that person had returned it. Eventually, I was pleased to make the find even if it is accidentally. We replaced it exactly where we found it as we aren't sure which location is correct. Thanks for this cache.
Wow! How tricky was this one. Took two of us quite a few laps before making the find. So very clever. Couldn’t get log out to sign. Might need tweezers - will send a pic for proof of find. TFTC!
Trying to add a few non stop start kms to the brand new engine in the GeoRanger and stopped by for the caches in this area.
This was indeed a tricky hide and it was certainly in a place I did not first expect it. Well I did expect it there, but not there! .
It took a while and a lot of searching before I lucked on this one! Clever and worth the D rating.
Thanks XtremeBs for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Found!! But must say I had the help of the daughter (Cobtosouth04) this has set me up on the fast of many finds. Thanks
Finally found after many attempts! Had to ask around for hints to help discover this one but everyone kept it a secret. It was such an ingenious cache, and the hint really did tell it all.
We came, we looked; high, low, in the multitudes, in the singles.
It’s a no from us!
It’s a no from us!
I'm afraid I must add my name to the list of DNFs.
Had a good idea of what we might be looking for, but no luck spotting it today.
Thanks, Robmc.

After our dnf at previous cache we were holding our breath here... We searched high and then low and every which direction. We touched, reached for and pick up hundreds but the cache was not to be found.. Might have to return on our next trip this way..
We looked up down under around, but could find it after a long search. We’ll be back.
Found on 6 February 2022 at 12:29:20 pm. Omg finally… brilliant and yes that was an awesome challenge. Thanks for the hints and help from a fellow cacher … the cache is def there and def as described and def worth the rating! Almost sad this challenge is over ! A favorite point for the ultimate sneaky hide!!

I headed out to the park this morning to do the AL and the multi on the bike before work, and had time to look for this tricky trad also.
Very quiet here today on a cool overcast morning.
At GZ the hint elucidated the type of hide, and previous logs helped determine the elevation of the search.
With a limited time frame, I tried to think like the CO would have, and much to my surprise I found the brilliantly constructed hide within 10 minutes or so.
I needed a tool to extract the log from the container, but soon had it signed and replaced.
A well deserved favourite awarded.

Another short kayak trip was planned today with Fleabag- and it was quite pleasant weather which was nice after a couple of hot days. After a couple of caches of the kayak we then just freestyled around a bit looking for whatever we came across.
After doing the adventure lab and multi we headed here and after slipping and looking for a while we gave up.
Thanks XtremeBs for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Second attempt, read back though the comments and found the hint we needed. It was what we were looking for, just not in the spot we expected. Very well designed!
Found by The Empire with Snap Happy
My quest during this latest lockdown restriction easing period is to go back to a world where my closest unfound caches from home are; 'Signal Strength' (ends in Tasmania #spoileralert) and 'Eagle Rock' (deviously hidden by 'The Man Himself'). I'd DNF'd this one a while back and now, teaming up with Snap Happy - it was time to turn it frownie face into a smilie! Talk about haystacked and super tricky, Snap made the find and I honestly think I would have overlooked this one... Thanks for the cache XtremeBs.

Yet another lockdown *(6.0)* and whilst we may not be able to visit people in their homes, we can meet up with one other person for 'exercise'. Now that we can travel 10kms from home, we could venture further afield for some exercise. So after meeting outside a nearby cafe and grabbing the prerequisite coffee, The Empire and I made our way to GZ. Been far too long since we have been able to get out and we decide to make the most of our 'freedom' by going for a walk and grabbing a cache.
Good to finally be able to turn this into a smiley after looking for this on two numerous occasions. It certainly blends in and took some searching.
Thanks for the cache XtremeBs. Appreciate your efforts.

After an hour here yesterday, we had to PAF. Thankfully a previous finder was kind enough to lend a hand and give us a hint! So armed with some new intel we came back out and found it! This one was so clever!
Well darn! Came out here certain of what we were looking for but turns out not! Or might be. We dunno
Tried to find this one but was without success today despite a PAF to a previous finder.
Thanks for the hunt XtremeBs

Down to visit sharkiefan for the weekend.
Our plan for Leap day was to attend the event at Truganina park then to get some of the caches in that area. after a long walk around and getting most of them we headed off in the hunt for other Icons to collect for this special day.
We ended up down this way finding a Multi and seeing as this one was close we decided to have a look for this one too. After some time looking all around we resorted to a Paf and WOW this Camo is truly well done.

After finding a nearby cache, SteMicMitSar and I walked along to this cache. We did a bit of searching but things were not looking too positive. Eventually we realised the cache was something we had disregarded earlier. Excellent camo, the best one of its type we have seen, a favourite from me.

*Cache find # 10753.*
After the Leap Year 2020 event, a few of us headed over to this area to find a Cooks Tour, once that was done and seeing that this one was close by, it was next on the list to find so McLookers and I walked around to this one for a look and look we did, the cache was eventually found but not before being picked up and put down without realising it was the cache.
This is certainly the best execution that I have seen on this type of hide.

Wow! Amazing container. Lucky enough to find it almost straight away but I could've easily been here for ages. Cheers cobber.
Trying for a multi nearby we got muggled out so we decided to continue our walk and try our luck here. We approached GZ and knew instantly what we were in for yep, they are everywhere. We looked high and low for a very long time, retracing each others footsteps double checking and even triple checking. We were determined to find this micro despite the heat of the day and our options getting slimmer.
We then tried a different approach and thats when the sneaky hide was found, much to both of our delight. Thats damn clever. We have never seen this type of cache as well executed at this one, definitely deserving of the D4.
Thanks XtremeBs for the great placement , a favourite point added for sure.

We were determined to find this one before we ate lunch. What a gem! Definitely worthy of a FP. Well Done!

Finally found with +Wife, Grub62 and bunadoorian after the event at the State Rose Garden.
Even after a PAF the search continued until I had the cache in hand and didn't actually realize.
A quite a few laughs as we admired your handiwork.
Excellent!

Found this one with Phetlern today. Spent about five minutes or so looking then heard those lovely words!
I don't usually give favorite points to Micros but I will make an exception for this cache. A well disguised cache. TFTC.
A favourite point from me for this one. Out with Bunadoorian after the nearby event for Vision 2020 in Millicent. We were searching for a nearby cache when N0w0rries and +wife came along. As we were having trouble finding it N0w0rries phoned the CO and we were waiting for maccamob to arrive so off we went in search of this one. With all our eyes looking it still took a PAF by N0w0rries to lead us in the correct direction. What a clever cache. TFTC XtremeBs.
While the Family Cruised the Pacific I journeyed around Point Cooke Grabbing a few solved puzzles, Trad’s and try and avenge a DNF.
WOW Wow wow that is a devious hide. I spent about an hour last time I was here searching.. This time I was able to avenge the previous DNF.

We needed a cache today for our day/month chart and I was in the mood for a challenge. I found this cache with its' high difficulty rating combined with a reasonable terrain rating (not that we're against high terrain, just not today). We drove out to this beach which we had not known of previously and located GZ easily.
Luckily for us, we began our search in exactly the right spot so this was a quick find! I could imagine if you were unlucky then this cache could take quite a while to locate. Great camo!
Thanks.

Found 1426 with the Geokids... Needed a helping hint from Maccamob just to check I was close and as confirming it with Dad we found it!!! What a great hide!!
Wow. Finally found after the 5th attempt! This is the of the most will disguised I've come across. There's almost zero chance of finding this accidentally. Thanks for the cache
Teamed up with AlphaDeltaIndigo to grab a few caches around Melbourne but there is always time for just one more.
Unfortunately we were unable to locate the hide even after searching for quite a while.

With some morning rain we didn't think we would get out for some treasures today but with a glimpse or blue sky, I checked if DAB was good for a few caches and it didn't take long before we were in the car with the little Na'wals and off up the highway. This one had our interest and the playground nearby was a bonus. We searched for about 20 mins before I put in a question to previous finder. With a clue in mind, we found the one we wanted it in a pile of ones we had already checked. Wow! A very well made cache!! 15 finds in 12 months is strange for this impressive cache. I would suggest to everyone to come look for it, it's a beauty.

Seeing as the sun was shining this morning, we thought we would make the most of it. A hastily put together plan and I was soon in the company of Na'wal and the junior na'wals !! We have had our eye on a few caches up Point Cook way for a while, so we hit the road. In no time we had arrived in this busy little suburb.
So many places to look.... [xx(] We looked high, we looked low and we were getting nowhere. After 15 minutes, we were armed with some new intel. BANG !! Na'wal soon made the found, even though he had previously held it... This was a cracker of a hide, the best of its kind I have seen. A big fave point is coming your way. TFTC XtremeBs

Manzie and I were out and about discussing beaches when I said I’d show him a beach I bet he never knew existed. When we arrived he was blown away and said he never knew this place existed. Yep, I found this place when I was caching a few years ago. … and, oh, look at that, there’s a cache here. I’m just going to detour up this path … Oh, but we could be here a while manzie, it’s a D4! What?? He says. What is it? I don’t know, but I reckon it’s probably one of these? So he starts looking, certain of the traits he is looking for, while I scour previous logs in an attempt to gather a clue. We could be here all day, let’s just go, he says. We’re never going to find it. But, but, but let’s just keep looking. We’ll find it. I know we will. Finally, I concede defeat, as manzie is already walking off back to the car. Just one last look … OMG, come back, I’ve found it manzie! Oh you have not, show me, he says. I hold the cache up to him. Oh. You have indeed found it. Wow, where was it? There, I point. How on earth … ? I don’t know. Lucky? Thanks for the cache, always satisfying finding something you were about to give up on!
Took a good 40 minutes and we didn’t even know it was the cache when we had it in our hands! Dad giggled like a little boy when he found out we had what we were looking for! Great hide. Very impressed people before us found it in 2minutes!! TFTC
Catching up on logs. Still not sure how we found this one so quick, but we’re taking it. Never knew this spot was here, so I learned something, filled a d/t challenge hole and enjoyed a very sneaky hide. TFTC.
A quick drop by here on the way to pick up Mudbrick for the Ned Kelly exibit in the city. After doing the multi I though a quick grab here...yeah nah. After a half hr search finally tried a different method using a classic approach and found this extremely well hidden cache! Man that is a doozy. Thanks for the hunt!
The goal today was to grab a geo during lunch. BenFeeMezzChop suggested this one. Sounds good, sound difficult but lets go for. LeeLee did a superman and changed into her 'active wear' and we were soon off.
Reading over previous logs again in the car I say to Ben 'what's the date again? Jacko83' has just done it!'
Arrived at GZ and we decided to set the timer as we were expecting at least 30 mins. On approach LeeLee spotted something and thought, maybe? As the search started Ben suggested the same. It was! Bingo! 2 minutes to find. High 5 all around. Super pleased that the geo eyes were on point today, or was it LeeLee's superman top or Ben's super powers?
Nice hide.

No luck with this one today! Spent a long time looking, but just could not find it.
Woohoo! Finally found it! Saw that the CO recently did a maintenance check on this and decided to have another crack. This time we went in thinking logically and using our geocaching experience, narrowing down the possibilities. In past logs, there is enough hidden information within to help with eliminating possibilities. We also looked at the cache a few times and dismissed it. This is a very well hidden and constructed cache. A favourite point from us for the effort and the challenge. TFTC
