A weekend spent in West Sydney to attend 2 non geocaching events enabled us the opportunity to seek out many local labs and solved puzzles in between. A great time was had as we explored many interesting locations relying on the air conditioned car to keep us cool in the 30 plus heat.We always like to complete Mary MacKillop caches on our travels so this one was a definite while staying nearby for the weekend. We nearly walked away after an extensive search but persevered until we finally found the cache 11 metres north of GZ.Thanks alnic39 for the placement.
Confusing. Not what I thought the weird drain was. I ended up just checking all of the metal posts and found it. No pen
Find #: 3,683Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Warm if windy winter morningCache condition: GoodAfter running the Werrington Lakes parkrun I decided to find some nearby caches, given I am not often in this area. I parked next to this pleasant piece of grass and ambled over to GZ, where I made a quick find once I realised which concrete object was being referenced, and also some counts in previous logs. TNLNSL TFTC
Logging as found but I didnt find a preform tube as the hint would suggest. I found a bison with no log in it and I had nothing in the car that I could sign and put in the bison tube. TFTC!
Thanks Spy79 and Travelling Sister. I might have miscounted but got there in the end.
Second time lucky! The images certainly helped as we had to widen our search. TFTC.
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the new Adventure Labs, Letterbox, Traditional, and Puzzle/Mystery caches that have appeared around Penrith & surrounds since our last visit to the area back in May 2023. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains for some new caches and to attend a Winter Solstice Event at Mount Riverview, and a Post Winter Solstice CITO Event the following day at Cranebrook.Today (day 3) the holiday is over and we are heading home, but will still be collecting some caches and Adventure Labs along the way. Will be stopping for a few caches at St Marys, re-visiting a previous DNF at Claremont Meadows, and visiting Western Sydney University for a five stage Adventure Lab. After that it will be just the odd cache or AL stage at Ermington, Ryde, and Macquarie Park. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base. This was the 4th of 14 finds for the day (day 3), and 36th find of the holiday. After two previous DNFs, after each of which the cache was subsequently confirmed as missing, we had written it off as ever finding it. But it was still haunting us with a sad blue face on the geomap, so we stopped off for one last attempt at success.Arrived at a very familiar GZ and went straight to where the hint indicated it should be, but nothing was found. Oh no, not again we thought. But then we widened the search zone and bingo!, CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thank goodness for that! Counting from the small post (hidden by bushes) we had the cache between post #20 and post #21, but maybe our counting is not so good TFTC Travelling Sister, Spy79, and alnic39.Find #6886
Add a few more to the hint, youll get there to find the cache to pay respect to our Aussie Saint. Keeping my daily streak active, TFTC alnic39
Can not find it because the hint doesnt tell u which end to start counting from and the hedge has grown to big even if it was there no way of finding it
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Sib
Over from Perth for our sons National Rowing Championship and staying nearby. Was expecting the park to be a little bit more special for such an important person but anyhow, happy to make the find here... thanks to the hint!
After being approached by a local muggle this morning here, I decided to return this afternoon to find it. Thankfully, the hint was very direct.
It took a long time looking in the wrong places until I read the hint, i looked down and there it was tftc
Caching with oldmorty on our way to Blackheath. We found the cache a little further along the row.TFTC
Frazeydaze and I stopped here on the way to Blackheath for the weekend. We found and returned the cache between the nineteenth and twentieth posts. TFTC
Finally!!!
This was one of the first caches I tried to find when I started caching in 2019 ..... I've been back a few times with no luck but think I've been counting logs from the wrong end
Glad to be finally able to turn this into a smiley
Thanks for the cache

My son & daughter found it! Their first ever one and they had a lot of fun! Thankyou!
Bison tube in place. Attached to fence, on upright, to the left of the circular concrete thing.
I think there is a garden clearing this area from time to time. I'll think about a new cache type and get back in the next two weeks.
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect some of the new Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches, and a new Adventure Lab, that have appeared around Warragamba since our last visit to the area. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains for a couple of new Adventure Labs and a challenge cache, and revisiting a few DNFs from the previous trip, mostly NE of Penrith. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we were caching in the lower Blue Mountains, then around St Mary's, and finally at Beaumont Hills & North Kellyville on our way back home.
We DNFed this one over two years ago, and were keen to get the sad blue face off our geo-map, so arrived today full of hope. But after an extensive search we found nothing, so looks like we are stuck with the sad blue face. Don't think we will waste any more time on this one.

Came back and found it this time, thanks to COs arrurance and Blast75's help. This is one where reading the activity led me on a wild goose chase with pictures of caches that are NOT this cache.
This is a MICRO cache, NOT a large lunchbox with red sides.

Got some scratches for my efforts feeling in the bushes, but failed to find at this time!

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 3 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas between Penrith and Warragamba, including a stop-off on arrival day at St Marys. Hoping to collect some previously solved Puzzle caches and to also complete the Adventure Labs at St Marys, Penrith and Warragamba. Will also be on the hunt for Natural Wonders and Solar System Wonders, to complete the Wonders of the World souvenir challenge.
No luck for us at this one today. We were relying on this cache to give us our final Natural Wonder (Mount Everest), and thus unlock the Solar System Wonders for us, but it wasn't to be and we gave it up after a lengthy search. Oh well we will just have to find something else with Mount Everest in it.

Was deterred from a proper search a few weeks ago due to some people hanging around the park. But today it was muggle free, making it a quick find.
There was some water in the cache so the logbook is damp but singable.
