Really enjoyed this one. Usually a cache on a granite rock will involve a trek to the top. This one is conveniently flat. Found the cache then carried on to the gnamma holes which the kids loved as they were full of tadpoles. Enjoyed the wildflowers and butterflies and bees before heading back to salmon gums to grab our caravan. TFTC

Out and about again, a visit north in nabbing another LGA (Dundas) and get a few around Salmon Gums. Covered a few km’s and found 13 caches.

Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today

Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Travelling from Perth to Canberra with lots of side tracks.TFTC.
A bit of an adventure coming in from the east with my caravan. Ended up driving through someone's property until locked in at 1.6km to go. Managed to get out and all the way around. Parked at the main road and walked. Then storms came so ran most of the way and signed cache in the rain. Now to get back to the highway before roads get messy.

Trip down to the coastal towns of Bremer bay and Esperance. Great to get out and explore. Had to chase a few extra KM by heading up towards Norseman to help add to the cache find count also.

Thanks to the local COs for some interesting caches and some even better locations. TFTH

pug002 DNF it we went down many roads/tracks, not sure if they were farmers property but after a couple of hours driving around decided we would give up, google couldn't find Burnside Road. When we went onto the next one low and behold we saw Burnside Road, but by this time we had enough and wanted to do the multi's so headed off. Thanks anyway Zane and Bianca Sad

After rolling out the swag last night in the rain at Thomas River in the Cape Arid NP, I headed on to Esperance quite early, hoping to get up to Norseman and on the Hyden Road by tonight. But as is so often the case, with me at least, I got sidetracked and didnt even make it as far as Norseman! No surprise really, given that I wasn’t even planning to come down this way on this trip.

The weather has been woeful for the last day or so. It bucketed down last night and has rained on and off for most of the day. Great for the farmers, but not quite so great when you are camping. Looks like more rain as I set up camp tonight.

An interesting spot for a look around. Cache and contents are in good condition.

Thanks Zane and Bianca for the cache.

Third day of our 'loop' trip following the wildflowers and grabbing some caches along the way.
Had intended to stay in Esperance a few days but the weather was foul and hail forecast and much the same for the next few days so decided to head for Kalgoorlie. Although we were in the Patrol and towing a camper trailer I would have had no hesitation doing this track in my Honda CRV. Track is level with no ruts - only the odd low vegetation to straddle. We parked 90 mts from gz at a spot we could reverse the camper into to turn around then made the short walk to gz. Sturdy container so we wer3e surprised that the log book was damp but recorded our visit and headed onto Kalgoorlie. Thanks Zane and Bianca for another interesting location.

I am spending a couple of days in the goldfields for work, and as I am travelling around I am grabbing the odd cache or two.

I just love this part of the world and today was no different. Perfect weather for a drive from Kalgoorlie to Esperance.

I had been watching this one, and another nearby for a little while, and was pleased to see that they were still unfound this morning.

It was with a fair bit of trepidation that I attempted this cache in the geohireoutlander. Although the CO says he placed it in a 2wd, I was still nervous about damaging the hire car, or getting stuck.

Nonetheless after one false start, I made to GZ. An interesting looking location. Quickly found the nice sized container, and opened up to find a blank log.
