Saw a CITO coming up which involves mud. Who would I be to deny such fun . Arrived at GZ with the adults and scouts patiently waiting to start. We were issued some gloves and buckets of mud. Carried one heavy bucket into the park and made quickly friends with young scout Poppy. Together, we two covered a lot of graffities with mud on the trees. My team mate had such a joy that when the bucket was empty at least 1/4 of the smelly mud was on her .
I love the idea and it was such a great event. Thank you for organizing!!! I will keep my eyes out if another one poping up. TFTC

Had fun here even though I don't usually like getting dirty.
Thanks for organising.

I think I can safely say that I have never done this before. It was a lot of fun and I hope it does some good for Kirk's Bush. All of my experience with mudslinging finally came in handy.
Afterwards, a few of us talked of recent surgeries as sort of an appendix.

Was nice to see old and new faces here today and nice to have 5 of the Girl Guides attend also. Mr Stik-a-crane helped me today as I am the one who had their appendix out this past week . . . . .and was not allowed to lift the buckets of mud. It certainly was a different sort of CITO/service project but the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. To be honest I think a couple went home with more mud on them than the trees. Thank you to the Manuaku Beautification people who delivered the mud and gloves for us to use this morning.
5 of us attended this event today and some of us went home with more mud on us than we put on the trees We enjoyed our time on this service project today and thank our leader for organising it for us and others to attend.
I arrived at this event with Keylev, had fun with the mud, and then went home with mum and dad (HeMaLuDy).

Arrived a little late due to having to run erand beforehand. Thanks Kym for your hardwork put into organising this and letting me log this one, even though i only did paint one tree. Good to catch up with the locals albeit briefly.
Decided late in the game to attend this, and glad I made it here.... brought EIR-0T along as she likes all things muddy, and before long she was right in her element...
Great to catch up with a few people whom have crossed paths with for a while, and others regularly seen....plus some new....
Thanks to the guides and sethraven for organizing.

Came along with stik-a-crane ....thought this was a neat thing to do to cover up nasty graffiti ...... used to belong to the guide group who set this up.

Yes I will attaend. I look forward to learning to paint the graffiie tree trunks with mud, and to go for little nice walking and site seeing.
Hi Kym, the whole family is keen to help out! See you then. Nicole (Hailey Harris's Mum)
Wow, this is a great idea! I've never heard of painting mud over graffiti; it sounds like a wonderful CITO project! If we were anywhere near Auckland we would have joined you. Best of luck with your event!
I am always happy to support the Guides. I never heard about putting mud on graffiti. Maybe I can reach the higher spots.
