OCW PelDroedGwin Staying across the road at Yardie Homestead for a few nights.Absolutely loved the scamper up the dunes and the ocean views were beautiful. Quite windy this afternoon so we really saw the creation of the dunes in action ! Answers sent to CO.
Ocw the Bebes as we stay at Yardie Homestead. Enjoyed the climb and explore of the dunes. Quite windy so got a bit of a sand blast!Answers sent by The Bebes.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP and now to Exmouth also for some overnights .We spent some days here and went today for snorkeling, relaxing and diving .Looked for this one after a overnight somewhere on the beach outside the town... everything full here .Oha, didn't see these sort of dunes once .TFTC# 17'237
These dunes were amazing - you don't get the size of them in the photograph, fun cache, thanks.
Thanks for putting an earth cache here - such a beautiful place that we wouldnt havent come to without the cache
Loved this place! Thanks for doing this to help us learn about this great place
We are staying at yardie homestead for a few nights, it is rather busy being school holidays. I have been looking at doing this cache for a while we were heading past yesterday but I ws too tired to walk up a sand dune. So today after going to Turquoise Bay for a snorkel we decided to stop here on the way past. We were surprised to see a kite surfing school vehicle here. There were only two kites up not like the other places along the coast. Had a great view from onto of the dune. That is a pretty steep side. Did try a small jump but it is hard jumping in the sand. Would have been good to have a boggie board to see if you could slide down the dune. Thanks for placing this cache here
Amazing! Super fabulous and stunning - loved the expansive view on topwho would have thought! Staying at Yardie Homestead for a few days with plenty of time to explore the magic. Have travelled WEST from home base 4200 km away and that includes altitude as well so enjoying the landscape and habitat changes of this BIG country. TFTC and the lure to visit. A FAVE for memories!
What an informative and fun earth cache. We had perfect weather today… cool enough to walk barefoot on the dunes and beautiful and sunny with a cool soft breeze. Just stunning! TFTC
Go to the beach and get sand in your pants. Get sand everywhere.
When is Dune II coming out.

Found with kiwinic on our annual northern holiday, a quick stop off here today to check out these awsum sand dunes. Ticked off the answers and happily on our way. TFTC
A great time heading to the North West on a little wander out yonder holiday. Travel from Perth to Exmouth and back staying at many different locations and accomodation styles.
Thanks to all the cache owners for adding a little extra to the trip and taking us to some very magical locations.

Geocaching along with Gma and Gdad allinaday. We found many caches and visited some beautiful places during our stay in Exmouth. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing caches for us to find. I had heaps of fun jumping down the dunes with Granddad.
We had a lot of fun here on the Jumping Dunes. Not a soul around for miles, and the dunes were pristinely clean and clear of footprints. Well worth a visit. Thanks TeamThommo for another spectacular EC. We enjoyed this one.
Found while holidaying with Team Outnabout as we continue our travel adventures together. Felt like the big kids running down the dunes. TFTC TeamThommo.
Outnabout with Wollaston exploring and luckily it’s a bit cooler today. The sand was just bearable in the heat. Sending answers.
A wonderful time climbing and jumping down the dunes.
A bit windy while we were there, but a beautiful coastline.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful location.

What a great dune TeamThommo. We ended up watching whales from the lighthouse near sunset and then topped it off with whale shark swimming almost directly off the coast from the dunes the following day.

Pulled into Exmouth today from Karratha and while the wife slept off a headache I gave her some peace and quiet and collected a bunch of caches around town. A beautiful afternoon with temperatures around 30 degrees and a nice breeze. A welcome break from the mid-40s I had been experiencing throughout the kimberley.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.

After two quiet days at Cape Range NP we made a short stop on the way back and visited this Earthcache.
Thanks a lot for showing.
Die Ningaloo Coast mit ihrem türkisblauen Wasser, weissen Stränden und RIESIGEN Dünen... ja beinahe wie Adam und Eva auf jedenfall fast wie im Paradies! [:i]

Set out this morning to explore the Cape Range N.P. South of Exmouth. Surely the Ningaloo Reef has nothing else to share but again, gobsmacked by this spectacular stretch of Aussie coast. Every time I think there can’t be more to see and explore here, there is another surprise just around the corner
I tried to walk up a huge sand dune in the Sahara Desert to watch the sunset, and failedThose dunes were mountains of flowing caramel. These dunes are striking white and as I walked over the peak and towards GZ, the view blew my mind. This is a remarkable place! I walked in the footsteps of a couple of muggles to minimise disturbance to this fragile environment. Took a few pics and sent answers to the CO.

Thank you TeamThommo for your great ECs. Answers sent. This is an awesome place! Only stop today where we weren't swarmed by flies and could enjoy the views and cool breeze. TFTC
Climbed to dune, surveyed the scene and sent our answers. Thanks TeamTommo we are enjoying your Earthcache.
We would make a stop here to visit the dunes as well as this Earthcache. The answers were send to the CO. Nice place to spend some time. Unfortunately jumping the dunes was not an option with the injury I currently have, too bad.

After putting the geo-schnauzers into doggy day care, we headed out to Cape Range Nat. Park for a day of exploring. There were a few muggles about on the top of the dunes so we gathered the required info and took a photo. Thanks TeamThommo
Every time I visit this dune it reminds me of a girls day trip we did around the west side 15+ years ago. Back then the track took you straight up to the east side base of the dune. On that day I also seen my first echidna
Thanks for the cache @TeamThommo... always lovely when things like this trigger a good memory

Came for a drive to collect caches on our short stay in Exmouth. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country with our stunning beaches. If it was warmer I might if even gone for a swim (28 degrees today) . Themongrel thought about it but realized we didn’t have s towel. Tftc
Awesome spot! Had a great workout walking back up the dunes when I headed down to dip my feet in the water! Found with Minergal TFTC!!!
White sand. Blue seas. Windy as. Can see how dunes are formed with the breeze. Answers sent. Found with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9871. We found this as part of our 2018 Round Australia trip.
We came out for a drive to this side of the peninsula today to check things out and enjoyed this one. The kids took off in another direction when we arrived which was probably good as it saved me having to explain why there was a young lady sunbaking nude within 15m of GZ of this one. Once we both composed ourselves, she moved down the beach and I set about answering some questions and diving off some dunes with kids. I've sent our answers via the message centre.
Thanks TeamThommo for the cache.

Embarking on a 17 day holiday to complete the Wool Wagon and Kingsford Smith Mail Run Pathways with a brief stop at Coral Bay in between A total of 4278km in the end
We tried to do the Pathways a few years back but one of the rivers along the way was too high to cross so we didn't do it, now finally we are on our way
Spending a few days in Exmouth with what was meant to be lovely weather but today the wind is blowing a gale and with what looks like it might be rain later
TFTC
I let Mr dimor answer this one while I tried to not get sand in my mouth by asking him the questions so hoping he is somewhat correct
Sending answers

Today we continued our slow journey south down the coast of Western Australia trying to make sure we do not reach the cooler weather. We did however manage to drive through rain yesterday which was completely unexpected and took us by surprise. It even rained again several times during the night.
We collected a few caches en route, but this is the closest one to where we are camped so we headed off in the late afternoon.
GZ generated much discussion as we poured over the information and surveyed the area.
In the distance we could see Ningaloo Reef beyond the mooring area, a site of plenty of snorkelling and a swim with the whale sharks on previous visits.
Thank you Team Thommo for another interesting and doable Earthcache.
We have both done much jumping off dunes in our younger years and were surely tempted today, but we didn't think our knees would now cope with the exercise and would probably collapse under us. So we had to be content with admiring the scenery and thinking of the fun to be had in the water over the next few days.

Out with m4yb after completing the GRR, we are now slowly heading home getting a cache or 3 on the way.
What fun! I walked to GZ and jumped off like a silly kid but no one to take a pic of me. Then walked along the beach and was blown away by the scale of it all and not another person within sight. Then caught up with her and took more measurements and also silly jump shots almost jarred my back on the harder sand!
Another great discovery from this EC so another fav and thanks for all your work Team Thommo.

Day 44 of The Northern Adventure, and now it is just megawat60 and me. As we head towards home, enjoying 4 days at Ningaloo camping in the Cape Range National Park.
Today we drove north to visit the Jurabi sand dunes, and had another GC-driven discovery. Enjoyed the walk and even the climb and then the view. Lots of boats leaving for dives or whale shark encounters.
Will send answers ASAP, hopefully today if we can get a signal.
Thanks TeamThommo for another great Earthcache, and here is another FP for all the research and learning!

The adventure continues on our travels home after an amazing 5 weeks in the Kimberly. We found ourselves checking out Exmouth and surrounds for a future holiday. Thanks for bringing us here.
Btw i think our gps needs a holiday, we're not as high as it thinks

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 26. A day spent exploring Cape Range National Park. Yardie Creek was too high to cross and the trip up the range was dramatic !
Today was a very windy day with the wind blowing offshore. I would have thought the prevailing direction would be onshore. Anyway, the dunes here are mighty impressive. I am not into dune jumping these days, something will break. e-mail sent.
Thanks.

Got a very early start today and found this one as the sun was appearing! We have been to many dune sites and love all of them! Will send answers when we have much better reception! Photo is of male membsec, yes, he is jumping!!
Set off from Exmouth to catch the cache and sunset. Both were brilliant. Must say we had great fun jumping on these and taking photos. We have dunes at home. Our house looks directly out to sea ( from the UK next dry land Canada) sadly over the last few years human erosion has reduced them and they are incredibly difficult to reestablish).
Must say extremely grateful for you bringing us here. Sunset is really quick. Vamp claimed to see the green flash!

With a little time up my sleeve this afternoon, I had the three remaining caches on the western side of the ridge in my sights. First cab off the rank and what a spot to begin.. [^]
Roasting hot today and the sand wasn't helping, but I made my way to GZ, snapped a few pics then set about answering the questions. With that bit done, I headed off for some shade and a top up of water.
These are truly great dunes and well worth the visit, thanks for dragging me out this way.
Cheers TeamThommo.

Today's main purpose was to go snorkling at Ningaloo Reef. But in the morning before we went out for snorkling we drove to the top of Cape Range. What a lovely sight! In the afternoon we drove to some snorkling spots in Exmouth! We picked every cache up which we passed by. The day ends in a tavern in Exmouth! We are preparing us for the long drive to Karijini Tomorow!
Thanks for placing these caches and greetings from Belgium!
**Individual log:**
Thanks for showing us these beautiful dunes! We jumped a lot!

Day 4 of my trip around Exmouth ... I spent 3 days in the area picking up caches and fishing camped out at osprey but due to the cyclone it was blowing a heavy south wester making it unbearable ..... bonus was it kept the flies at bay... Thanks to all the COs for bring me to this area ... I climbed the main sand dune and took notes
Finaly, we‘ve made it - our first FTF! And special for us, in beautiful Australia...! On our 3 week roundtrip in WA, we visited Exmouth and the magical ningaloo-reef...and saw there‘s an earth-cache which isn‘t logged already. My girlfriend Petra and i made a stop there, climbed the dunes, try to get the highest one, made some jump-fotos and answer the questions. Thanks to Käthe for this cache, for the fast answer, and the FTF-Price! We‘re realy happy solved that one! Cheers and happy caching, JoPe19 from Switzerland
