Logs
Found on this beautiful morning great hide loved the cache container Thank you for the cache
*Catching up on some logging*Came out to Woodend to pick up an item I had purchased. A teacher only day for Cup Week so I had Miss 10 and Miss 16 with me. We decided, naturally, to do some caching while we were here, stop for lunch at an amazing bakery on the main road, and then hit the beach for a swim as it was stinking hot!A quick find at GZ. Thanks for another smiley.
Found this with my friend Cooper. He saw a spooder so we put it straight back#38
Found as per the very useful hint! Lots of houses around here now but quiet today. TFTC
Another one found with Geomum007, clever hint and hide. Thanks for the cache Wombles B.J&T.
The Cache was there and we have cleaned up the container a wee bit better as it was looking a bit worse for wear and took the full Log Book out.Happy Caching..
Out on a bike ride, cache hunting, done a 50km loop on a nice hot day. Thanks For the cache Bitsprayer.
The only difficulty here was the effort to be discrete with two children playing outside the house opposite. TFTC!
Trying to keep my daily streak up so had to do a nice and close one. Found by my lovely assistant Emily. Tried to look inconspicuous as cars went past. TFTC.
Decided on a short bike ride around. Hoping there is a path through to where we started.
A nice easy find thanks.
A nice easy find thanks.
Nice and easy to locate, but difficult to remove from its hiding place as it had dropped to near the bottom of the cavity. Should be easier for the next finder to extract; TFTC
On a drive to Christchurch today. I stopped for a few caches along the way. Nice one! All good here. Cache found in the first place checked as per the hint. TFTC, Biggles.
(# 6021). Day 3 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting caches from Kaikoura to Christchurch. Woke up to a fine frosty morning with views of the snow capped ranges. An uneventful trip down. A quick find. Everything in order. Bit of an open area. Was being watched by the dog on the adjoining property but thank goodness he didn't let on. TFTC
Just returned my grandson to his house. Happy to find a cache nearby. Good spot but one has to be very muggle aware with new homes being completed and occupied.
As we approached we thought this maybe a bit of challenge~~ I approached the sign to be greeted by a barking dog i continued carefully my search to have another dog join the first in chorus. I Looked up as the house owner wandered up to the window so i casually admired the sign and had a picture taken and gave up on this one . Im not sure how possible this one will be from now on
If we had remembered the hint, this would have been a quicker find than it was. A sneaky little hide, and as the log was full, we added another. Finding this cache will be more tricky when the new house being built adjacent to it is completed. TFTC
Had a site visit to do on my way home nearby and called past to make the find and sign. Managed to find some space for my John Hancock and replace the clever hide with none the wiser. The D rating on this is going to go up pretty soon as the builders are about to start on the build of the adjoining property. Thanks for the effort of placing and maintaining the cache.

A quick stop after the CITO.
I think, as the development grows, there will inevitably be more than two roads here
Logbook's full.
> Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
> I took the one less traveled by,
> And that has made all the difference.

Very quick find thanks to the hint. Had a drive through the new subdivision, Woodend is growing so much. TFTC
24 February 2019 2:25 PM. Nice urban hide that could get more difficult to find as the house behind gets built. Foundations currently getting excavated.
Out for another day of collecting caches in the local area.
A quick find.

A crafty hide, signed log then returned everything sort of as found but sort of a bit less visible. TFTC .
Had a short spell at Pegasus late morning. As I've found most of the caches thereabouts, decided to do this one on the way back to Christchurch. Located it fairly quickly thanks to the hint. The trick was to extricate it. Needed tweezers from my toolkit to do that! #2056. TFTC.
After finding the new Woodend to Rangiora short cut caches, in a bit of a random order, we headed back to Woodend to find this cache as well.
Knowing the cache name, it was easy to work out where GZ would be. Unfortunately, a guy was parked up in his car just along the road, in direct sight of where we wanted to search. I parked strategically, and SW stood in a spot that would sort of hide me as well. Didn't take long to find the nicely hidden cache, and winkle it out of its hiding place.
After doing the paper work and replacing the cache, wouldn't ya know it but the guy drives off! Thanks, B, T & J!

#16267. Interesting to see this new subdivision. Quick find by Troodles. TFTC.
Staying in Woodend for a couple of days and this was our last night so decided to head out in the early evening while it was still light and see how many of the nearby caches we could grab. All quiet here at this time of the day and so the only tricky part was extracting the cache from the hiding spot and getting it back in. Thanks for the cache.
7838. Out Rangiora way today checking some of our caches so found a couple of Woodend ones on the way home. This one was a quick find but a slow access. It had been well and truly jammed back in place and a slim stick was needed. There was also the inconvenience of a truck driver parked right at GZ waiting for access to the nearby house. In the end everything was sorted out. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris. Now to drive out to the beach to find the Canterbury Geocachers cache.
I was astounded at how many college aged kids that were on the streets on my way to this one (just after 10.00 in the morning). However faith was restored a bit later when the school buses started on their rounds at 10.30. Not sure if there was something special on today or the school has different hours. Oh yes I found your cache too - interesting name for a subdivision. TFTC # 12,594
Out caching with purdiepurdie after the CITO at Woodend Beach.
A lovely autumn day, perfect for caching.
Thanks for this cache, Wombles B.J&T.

A quick find after the nearby CITO. Thanks for placing the cache. So much subdividing going on out this way.
TFTC. After the Biota Node Cleanup kotukuSI and myslef decided to pickup a couple of nearby caches.
Such a perfect autumn day to be out and about in nature.
Thanks Wombles B.J&T for placing the cache.

The 3rd and last day of our Easter raid East and we are out collecting some points for the Planetary Pursuit.
Yay! We have made it to Pluto and are now official Space Explorers but there is always more caches to find so we are still out while we can! I read the hint out and was thinking of a different kind of T but Mum walked straight up to it and grabbed the cache. I sent her back to the car to stay warm while I signed and returned the nice hide. You wouldve had me fooled so +1. Thanks for placing the cache

Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

Was harder to get the right road to get into here, google maps is not so up to date at times. Quick find once there. Cheers for the smile
It took I'd longer to find a road leading to it than to find the container.

#493. Found at 8.15 on morning walk around Woodend. Interesting place, lots of wooden fences everywhere. Stalled development maybe? Nice easy hint, and good hide. Tftc.
I really wanted to get to 2800 by the end of the year- and this was my last chance on our trip home. So very glad to make a quick find. Thanks Wombles B.J&T
Heading north for a few days so grabbed this one on the way. Bet it'll be looking different around here this time next year. TFTC
This year has been a slower year than my average so I decided to head out and try to increase my average cache a day for 2017 to one a day. No problems locating this cache today. Thanks for the cache.
I'm glad I got here before anyone has moved in. Had the corner to myself this evening for a quick find.
Thanks very much!

Heading out on a Mad Monday Mission with TG and 8MA. The evening was stunningly warm, good ol' Nor' Wester and it was still light. Daylight Savings and geocaching go hand in hand for evening missions. Did I mention it was warm. The plan was to cruise north to grab a few of the new caches and then mop up the ones in town and hope for the best. Rather sedate night for the crew. Thanks to 8Man there were travelling snacks to keep us sustained 'to find just one more'.
TG parked up and 8M and I found the cache.
Thanks for the cache Wombles B.J&T.

Hint was helpful and made for a nice easy find on a great day out. Nice new development. TFTH
I needed a bit of exercise this afternoon so decided to make this cache my target. Rode via the back roads so as to keep clear of the traffic on SH1 until I needed to cross it in the middle of Woodend. New freshly constructed subdivision just waiting for houses to be built in it, so I was not bothered by any muggles. Nice quick find. Thanks Wombles x3.
Out and about with the boys, heading to Pegasus for a walk. Mr10 made the find but knocked it so it dropped low....eek.....how to get it now?! Mr7soontobe8 had small enough fingers and managed to weedle it out the small gap at the bottom! Phew! Be an interesting subdivision when it's done. Cheers.
