Visiting with friends who grew up here and happy to show us around including to this lovely restful spot. Thank you
My Garmin was about six metres out, but still a fairly quick find. It was showing: S 36 16.070 E 143 21.052. Cache and log are good. TFTC one-eyed.
*Found on the 4 Nov 2024 @ 7:23pm.**Cache find # 16033.* Out and about on a bit of a road trip targeting 3 different LGAs and after completing Gannawarra and Swan Hill, it was now time to get a few more in Buloke and this cache was in my sights. This was my last before leaving town, I headed over to the GZ area and looked around at the different sights and then decided to look for the cache which didnt take long to find, with the log signed I started heading off towards home.**Thanks to one-eyed for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
The coordinates were not working in our favour today! Took longer then it should have. Nice spot though. Thanks for the cache
We headed up to Wooroonook Lakes for a weekend camping adventure with some fellow geocachers. Headed out on Saturday afternoon with CracknLeeLee to grab a few local caches before the sunset event at Mt Wycheproof - this one included. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot on the river. TFTC
The rain was to stay but that didn't detour GemmaSistema micaparamedic and Tiz13 from heading out for some caching shenanigans following the nearby event. This was one of the caches on our hit list. Fuelled up on chocolate and some travelers we came for a bit of a walk along this nice trail in this quaint town
A very quick find while waiting for dinner to be cooked. Thanks for the cache one-eyed.
Waited for a while as there were people enjoying their lunch where we thought the cache was. Only to find it wasnt there! Looked nearby and sure enough the cache was found .tftc
Stopped off here on our first day of an adventure to the east coast of Aus. We love birds and walking so this was the perfect cache. A quick find was made. TFTC.
Found with LittleBoss2, Sorceysal and Geo the puppy as we head to Mildura. This was a quick find as we started the ad lab cache. Thanks for placing, and the spot on coords.
A week of caching and golf with bogonghazy and Littleboss 2 in and around Mildura and of course any smileys we can pick up on the way.
On our way to Mildura for a week of caching with Bogonghazy, sorceysal and Geo dog. Quick stop. Thanks for placing the geocache
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. We came to stay in the RV park and wandered out to find this cache. The coords are a bit out but we finally looked in an obvious place and there it was. TFTC
A quick stop to break the drive, this is definitely my last find tonight. The last cache of a terrific four day whirlwind tour of the Riverland area and some of its caching treasures.Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy.Day four of my Riverland sojourn and after a late night last night i am starting the day in Loxton again. Today i have to head home but can spend the whole day getting there. First off i am collecting some caches in and around Loxton, then i want to head south to Pinaroo and cross back over to Victoria from there. I will head to Ouyen and work out where else to go from there. The first three days of this trip have been very productive with plenty of kms travelled, lots of finds, and a number of goals progressed. I hope today is just as much fun, and just as successful.I have become a little obsessed with the badge gen award system on project gc, well actually, very obsessed. To satisfy my craving i have been kept busy compiling lists and routes and destinations to improve my stats. As i calculated and plotted, one destination kept appearing at the top of the list, i just had to make a trip to Mildura and the Riverland area asap. It has been some months since i came to that conclusion and put together a comprehensive list of caches to target so now i am unsure why each cache is included on the list or what i will find once i arrive at gz. I checked out the forecast yesterday and realised that the next few days offered a window of fine weather before rain. I decided to throw a few things and the geopooch in the car and head off, it is with real excitement that i am finally getting to enjoy this trip.
Sometimes I can rely too much on navigation. The contortions I underwent searching before looking in the obvious spot! TNLN. TFTC
Found it .What a superb place by the beautiful Avoca River.Passing through town on a motor home adventure to Broken Hill
With Featherwaite we're on our way home from Canberra after the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Wodonga and Day 2 we arrived in Terrick Terrick NP and Day 3 we were home.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC

Found by The Empire + HAs we hit the road, the Calder Highway stretched out before us, winding through picturesque countryside. The sun was just beginning to cast its warm glow over the landscape, and we could already sense that this journey would be special.Driving from Melbourne, through Bendigo to Mildura is a scenic journey that takes you through the heart of Victoria. The landscape gradually transformed as we moved westward. Vast fields of crops and grazing livestock stretched out on either side of the highway, painting a picture of the agricultural heartland of Victoria. Charlton, a welcoming town, offered us a taste of this rural lifestyle.A quick stop here to grab a this one. Thanks for the cache one-eyed.- M
Back in Victoria and camped nearby, after a weekend in SA . I dont think weve been to Charlton before. It looks a very pretty place despite the crazy rain today. On our walk to the pub for dinner we casually found & signed your cache.Thank you for your cache.
Awesome find! We found this cache 5 years ago and it's still there, its what got us into geochaching.
On our way to Bendigo from our stay in Mildura, this location was the perfect opportunity to take a break, stretch our legs and explore a new LGA for us.Many people were enjoying the area, but with a little stealth, we quickly retrieved the cache, signed the log, and returned it without anyone noticing. Thanks to one-eyed for bringing us to this lovely spot.
Heading to Mildura on the first leg of the trip to QOGM Longreach, 2023. Great place to stop for a break and other things!

Suscoe was heading home today after a terrific 4 days of caching around the Swan Hill region.

Thanks to one-eyed for this cache placement.
All quiet here this morning.
Thanks also for replacing this cache after the floods.

This one was interesting, on arrival in town to pick up a cache in a country we hadn't cache in this one was disabled so we headed further afield to achieve our goal on returning to our camp lo and behold there was an active cache. Thanks for fixing it up and enabling it in time for us to make a find. Strong fingers needed on this one. Tftc
After severe floods in late 2022 my cache got washed away, however a replacement cache was installed today 16th April 2023 in the same place same co-ords as before
The reason for disabling my cache is due to the massive floods in Charlton recently which washed away the cache location, I will be in Charlton April 2023 to replace the cache .
Thanks from one-eyed

A reasonably quick find on a sunny morning. Not too many muggles around. Thanks to one-eyed for the cache.
Passing through on our way to Mildura and stopped off here for a quick break and to look for a cache. Amazing how high the water can get in times of flood as documented on the nearby sign. Thanks for the cache.
All good things come to an end.. And so did our month long road trip through SA and the NT. We found this one while on our long way home from the Flinders to Melbourne. Cache was an easy find, TFTC!
On our way home.. Needed a stop to stretch the legs & let Geokids have a play at the park. Quick find. TFTC
Day One of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Mainly traveling today, Beechworth to St Arnaud, just a few caches collected as we passed them.
No muggles to be seen here today, a lovely spot though.
The whole town was very quiet on a Saturday afternoon.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18799. Day 1 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Here we are at St Arnaud on the first night in the middle of a storm and about to write up the logs for the day. A long day weaving our way here and gathering a few caches along the way.
I liked this area very much. Stopped to read the information board about the old saleyards as we were leaving the parking area. Certainly would have been a noisy and busy place back in the day. Enjoyed the views each way along the river.
Thanks one-eyed

Quick find and nice safe place to stop on the Mildura-Melbourne road trip. Thanks
Had to read about the finders on this one. You do need to broaden your search a little. Great find!
At first I struggled to find at the exact coords so I expanded the search radius a bit and sure enough I found it. Great rest stop here, thanks for the cache!
It was time to leave our camp at Wooroonook lakes and head to the next adventure at Mt Alexander. After completing the nearby weir adventure lab point, I made my way into town for this cache.
I initially struggled to find this one in the obvious places, but once I widened my search radius by 10m I was on the money straight away. It could just be the cloudy weather!
Thanks one-eyed for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.
