Given the local reviewers attitude I am unlikely to spend the money to continue to maintain caches. At some point HQ will actually start treating the people that hide the better caches for this game with the value they deserve. After all who wants mint tins in guard rails in the city to be all this games is about ?

Had a reasonably good look for this after a tasty lunch and local beer from The General Store. It doesnt appear to be in any of the obvious places as per the hint ??

After the mega, my sister Nakarra_L and I headed home the long way, and did some caching.
Found the cache upside down under bridge. Opened cache up, logbook was black with mould and covered in a broken hand sanitizer. I've taken all gross stuff out and put a stone logbook paper in hopefully thats OK! Sending photo to co.

Found by Mary and David at 15:10. Don't think we've been here for ages. Heading slowly home after a 3 week holiday to QLD. M broke her ankle in Toowoomba and now sports a moon boot. A great location. Our thanks to Clever Monkey.

Found with PapaGrouch. On the way home from Melbourne we stopped to pick up a few caches as we went past, this was one of them. I thought it might be difficult to get this one as there were some muggles enjoying themselves in the river, but I was able to sit down next to GZ and just reach in and get the cache. I had to add a sheet of paper as the contents were soaked, unfortunately I didn't have a plastic bag with me so it probably won't last long either. TFTC

Out for a midnight adventure with echidna44 and the fam. Had a great time exploring Strathbogie. We finally approached the cache in the dark, and made a quick find. Thanks CleverMonkey!

24-Sep-22
Out for a night-time drive with eight people and two cars, we arrived at Strathbogie on dusk. We walked through the lovely town, looking at the School and Church, the Old Smithy workshop and other beautiful buildings. It was very dark by the time we reached GZ, but we pinnacle333 and I made the find. Thanks Clever Monkey.

Heading home from Goughs Bay this afternoon and took a decidedly roundabout trip turning off at Merton and heading through Strathbogie and Euroa and then back to Yea via Seymour before heading south for home. Phew Smile
Log book was decidedly damp here today but was a quick find on the drizzly afternoon.
**Thanks for placing this cache Clever Monkey**

I’m having this week off as others at work had the Easter break off so it was my turn and another trip up North to Mildura was planned.
I left Melbourne nice and early on Friday to get a few caches in on the way up to Culgoa.
My main aim of the weekend at Mildura was to finish the Turtle series and to start the Paddle Steamer series so all good on those 2.
So after a great 3 days in Mildura then an over night stop in Boort and then Euroa time to head to Marysville for the weekend to catch up with friends.
I was not taking the most direct route as I wanted to drive through some old towns that are now only dots on the map and I want to take the back roads as well.
7 hours to do what is a 312 kms direct trip then 6 hours to do 211km direct trip I really must be taking the round about way.
I have heard of the Strathbogie Ranges before but did not realise that there was a town as well.
A nice quiet little spot and the light rain did not want to ease up so I’m glad this was a quick find.

Thanks Clever Monkey TFTC.

Found at 11.00am on a cold windy day with hail to boot. We were out on a day drive and wanted to walk the Bridge to Bridge walk, just across the road from this cache. Spotted the cache from 10m away. Very little traffic to disturb us. The weather report for Strathbogie informed us the temp. was 6c but felt like -1.3c. The walk is a pretty streamside wander of 2kms return.

Thanks

A brief stop in Strathbogie today to search for this cache before continuing on to Violet Town etc. I reckon we will need to come back and visit again as the area looks nice enough to explore further.
TFTC
(PS: Why are the road line markings "yellow"? Do they get snow and ice here? I thought yellow was for snow affected roads around Falls Creek or Mt Hotham etc. or to confuse drivers on the Monash carpark!)

What an impressive new walking bridge! It has been a while since we last visited this pretty area. Took photos of the water feature and found a cache tucked away as well. SL at 9.51am Left: windmill PT. Temperature 6 degrees with added wind chill factor. BRrrrrrrrrr. Still great to be out in the fresh air after a miserable week at work. #4783 TFTC and the drive along the byways Clever Monkey.

#2692 Mr BGF was en route to a job near Yarck and whilst in the area completed this find and some other secret caching business nearby Wink. Fortunately last night took note of where this cache was approximately hidden as hadn't loaded it up the gps and the geophone was struggling for reception. Used the geosenses to sniff out this cache! yippeeee!! Took penny left eraser. TFTC Cleverest Monkey in the district.

After returning yesterday from a 3 day road trip to Dubbo for work, you'd have maybe thought that I'd have had enough of driving around the gorgeous Australian countryside...Ummm....NO! [^]
Being Saturday it was too good a chance to miss getting out in Harry and putting him through his paces now that he is back in Victoria and so we loaded up Brodie and dalerious and off we headed Cool
What a fun and exciting day! Big GrinCool[^]
It's a rare day lately when every cache that I look for is found Surprised (not for want of looking!) and today was that rare day when 12 caches were looked for and all 12 caches were found Smile Including 3 FTFs Cool

Since I'd not been able to come and find this cache with the FTFers the other day, I had to settle for finding it today Wink
Why do I keep thinking of trains when I hear this name[?]Wink
Lovely spot [^]

Joint *FTF* with CybergranV @ 10:15 pm Big Grin
After being taunted all day by the publication of this cache first seen at stupid o'clock this morning, we set out after I knocked of from a very long day's work at stupid o'clock this evening. Razz
This was by far the most accessible of the new caches in the area and surprised us both at how quickly we were able to make the find.[^]
TFTC Clever Monkey you have made us two very happy campers. Cool

Joint *FTF* with dalerious.
After loading up the vehicle with a ladder, and setting forth with expectations of a tricky hide, we were delighted that this was so simple. I do not expect your other new ones to be this accessible, so it is a pleasant introduction to new caches appearing before the Mega.
Thanks for the cache, and the opportunity to have some quality time with dalerious.
Muggle Hubby is tucked up sensibly in his warm bed, anticipating a good game of golf tomorrow, so declined our invitation for an after dark adventure.
