Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day with a find just out of Sorell, and then drove up to Buckland to turn a blue frown yellow. That done, we continued on to Orford where I found the caches in the ‘Magic Beach’ series that I was yet to find and Zozetta, who hadn’t found any them, found them all. We then continued along Rheban Road for a little while to get a cache there that we hadn’t got yet, and then crossed over to the other side of the Prosser river to get caches in Orford, Louisville and Double Creek. We then went a bit further up the road to Triabunna to find the caches there, and then we made our way back towards Sorell, finding one more cache at Double Creek, a cache between Buckland and Runnymede, and then we finished off the days caching with another find near Sorell. In total we had eighteen finds and no DNFs.
A nice, quick find to start the day.
Thanks for the cache ALL7 (maintenance by 63ROOS)!

Wet and rainy today. Got rained out of work so came to do a few caches. Quick find luckily... As to be expected, there is no signature from wakeupsleepy 13/6/22 in this logbook, just like most caches wakeupsleepy claims to have found.
Staying in Richmond for four nights to clean up on some of the caches in and around here. Beautiful day to be out and about, so this one is included in the afternoon's sortie. Found quickly enough with accurate placement, traffic manageable, and all good with the cache. Thanks to 63ROOS for taking over maintenance on this one.
13:35, 3 May 2021. #446.
Found with RGSBruce on Day 10 of our trip to Tassie (his fifth, my fourth).
I'm a bit behind on writing up my logs, languishing in yet another COVID lockdown in a cold and dismal Melbourne , so what he wrote.
SL. TFTC ALL7 and 63ROOS.

Day 10 and the last day of HerIndoorsOutdoors and my trip to Tassie.
A leisurely drive from Swansea to Hobart, via wherever took our fancy today, with stops to pick up caches along the way as we had plenty of time to get to the airport for out 20:50 flight to Melbourne (which ended up departing after it should have arrived in Melbourne thanks to some foul weather, which was depositing some of its excess water on the East Coast of Tassie as we headed South).
This was another quick park and grab between showers on our way South.
This turned out to be cache #10 of 15 today. Our biggest caching day in quite some time .
The cache is in good condition.

Suscoe was out enjoying their last full day in Hobart.
It was a lovely day with lots of sunshine and a cool breeze.
We wandered around the city and out to the east as far as Sorell.
A pretty good day for caching and we had a great time.
Thanks to ALL7 and 63ROOS for this hide, a quick find for us here today.

Tasmania Day 3: Hobart - Freycinet National Park - Scamander
Today’s journey took us on the Great Eastern Drive from Hobart up to Scamander via the many lovely East Coast towns. The key item on the agenda was the hike up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout in the Freycinet National Park. There were a few other stops along the way for food and groceries, but the views were all great and the caches helped inform where to stop.
This is the specific log for this cache:
Another park and grab on the road to the East Coast. Easy enough find here, too, always like these when on a day with a long drive ahead. TFTC!

A nice easy drive by on my way back home from checking out Cape Pillar, if I couldn't find it within about 20 meters from my car, it wasn't going to be found today as my legs had had enough! TFTC.
Quick stop for this one.
A very busy road and windy as anything so luckily it was a quick find.

This weekend was spent on a caching trip up the East Coast with Porkchop6977, staying overnight in Swansea before returning home on Sunday afternoon. In total we ended up finding seventeen traditional caches, two mystery caches, one multi and one EarthCache, with one DNF.
This was our second find of the trip, found as we made our way out of Sorell. Didn't take too long to find, fortunately, and soon we were back on the road.

Out for a quick cache run with FWBs, so this was the first of 20. Taking us through Richmond, Sorell and Midway Point before heading home. A quick stop over, before turning around and heading in a general home direction.

Quick find.
All caches were signed as JLG98
Today JL Rockstar and myself headed south to complete the devil series. We decided that wasn’t enough and a new mission was for JL to hit 500 finds so we continued onto the gooses series at Sorell and then went in to complete the sugar loaf series! A total of 132 finds for the day.
Thanks for all the caches placed.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

got up reasonably early this morning to head down to do the devil puzzle series with gridge98 to try get myself to 500 finds.
Was a great day for a drive and to cache, there wasn’t much stopping us except pesky muggles and one snake on trail. Managed to finish the devil and 2 other trails to get to the 500 caches.
Thanks budgietas for the wonderful caches and other owners of caches we grabbed today.
(We wrote ‘JLG98’ in most logs, for the combined team of JLRockstar and Gridge98)

Out with Happy Feet while visiting. Nice easy cache after expanding the search and looking a little wider. Beautiful day to be out and about, enjoying this lovely area. TFTC
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
This was a quick find as we passed through this lovely part of Tassie and learning some interesting history.
Thanks ALL7 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Tassie Trip Day 94 - Today was a shopping day and a visit to a couple of cache to hopefully clear the Sorell caches and almost all have been finds however today we found all but one and got some more information for an ongoing multi.
This was a great spot to stop and cache and made a good start for the day. After a short search the cache was in hand and the all important paperwork carried out.
Thanks ALL7 and you good friend 63ROOS for keeping it in such good condition for you.

Came to Sorell to find some puzzle caches that I had solved before leaving home (SA) and thought we would stop and get this one on the way.
A quick easy find then on to the puzzles.
Thanks for the cache.

Hi ALL7 (& kay) thanks for the cache.
Was out and about today so I made a slight detour to grab this one - between the passing muggles.

Easy park, easy find-thank you ALL7. Unfortunately, signed yesterday's date on log. Darn these senior's moments
Not a good day to be geocaching with a heat wave hitting the state, but this one was a quick stop and grab so we decided to do it. Heading the wrong way too meant a few dodgy road crossings to the nearest parking stop. Thanks.
A quick find in a typical spot as I detoured back to the airport via Sorell.
Thanks ALL7
Thanks ALL7
A nice quick find and our last for the day after spending the afternoon caching around Forcett and Nugent. Picked up some yummy Indian and Chinese food in Sorell and did a quick stop to log this one on our way home. TFTC.
On a trip to get a jig in mid-way point, this seemed to be found before the pickup at 2pm nice day overcast but not tooo hot, TFTC TNLN log dry, nice place to visit

Thanks for this cache ALL7. The GeoGSP were out an about last night, and this one wasn't too far out of the way on our way home, and decided that it was probably going to be a fairly quiet time muggle-wise to grab this cache. The right moment was chosen, the cache retrieved, log signed, and everything put back in it place. Cheers.
