3.43pm.A good fossick; however, no luck in yielding the cache today.Shall return at a later stage.Much Obliged, - Alephroom.
Nothing here but leaf litter, real litter, and real life spiders. Will monitor the logs for new activity before attempting again. It was beautiful but spooky down here, I don't know why I keep trying to cache in Autumn, or as I call it Orb Weaver Season!
Out and about travelling through some of Sydney’s southwest suburbs with The Rats for a variety of finds today.
Another absolute beauty- great container- you certainly have the brains for hiding these types of great caches.

Spent the day caching with my good mate steeba. We concentrated our efforts around southwestern Sydney.
This cache was one of many we found today.

Wow has this area changed. They have bulldozed a giant path right over GZ cutting down the once lush forest and tree that hid the cache in its roots. Amazingly the geocache was still there, hiding in its hole under camo, right in the centre of the flat track. Despite it surviving in its original position, I made the decision to move it about a meter away to a less conspicuous place. It's spot is highly visable from the track so please please return it with the same level of camo as you found it.
We’re in Raby today to visit the Raby Roamers series. No luck for us here today. The last finder reported that lots of trees and coloured tags on them. Today, it appears there’s been lots of work to clear a path right along to GZ and beyond. We had a fair idea of what we were looking for but just couldn’t get ahead! Never mind, it’s been a fun series. Cheers… Gaztek
We are getting ahead of ourselves, LOL. Quite a few trees have a ribbon on them down here unsure what’s earmarked to happen
A reasonably pleasant walk from Lucky Log to here. While the inevitable dumped rubbish was a disappointment, it was nice to see that a few people have used the space outside their back fences for small extra gardens.
It was a little challenging getting through the edge of the bush to near the cache, I had to pick up the geodog and walk in backwards to stop us both losing an eye. Once we were a bit closer the terrain was unhelpful but I saw one thing that stood out and thought it was a good place to start. However, as we approached I spotted something a little odd and thought I'd check it out. I came up with the cache, although extracting it took a few minutes.
Reminds me of my favourite Shakespeare play, although I prefer Stoppard's take on it which doesn't mention this character (is he a character though?) at all. Hmm, I'm drifting. Time to drift up to Rapunzel...

Found this one with EverestHigh and GHHH on our loop of this area. I had taken a phonecall outside the jungle-like forest at GZ and had to join the others and by that time they were just making the find and they screamed out something very alarming! I hurried over and I was impressed. A FP from me. TFTC RabyRoamers!!!
We ran around in the wet bush for a while like headless chickens, then I remembered a scene from a Shakespearean play I studied at school, and Alas! I found it!! Awesome/gruesome!! FP from me. TFTC Raby Roamers
So, we entered the thick, lush bush full of enthusiasm but were soon met with a barrage of spiderwebs, mosquitos and other creepy crawlies. Luckily we soon came upon GZ and the search began in earnest. Geomum soon found the unfortunate cache guardian and we quickly made our way out of the haunted thicket and we'll leave it at that without mentioning the giant slug.
Quick check up- holding up better than I thought, though if you don't want to get filthy hands, I suggest bringing some disposable gloves. I rehid this a little better - please make sure you cant see anything man made when replacing the natural camo. Cache on!
Haha so good! I actually really liked this overgrown patch of jungle, so lush and green and really the perfect setting for this cache! It would definitely be very eery at night! Tftc! Have a FP!
This one certainly has a dark sense of humour Anominous Sign and I appreciate. Hopefully we are looking way ahead
The forest environment seemed very out of place. We feel like in the jungle somewhere foreign. Thanks for the cache and the fun!

Bwahaha, another inspired cache by the Raby Roamers
We entered the dark, damp woods and made our way to GZ. A few looks here and there and then we spotted something that didn't seem quite in place.
Oh! Hello!
We retrieved the cache and added our scribbles. TFTC!!

The cache title now makes total sense. Absolutely brilliant. I love the variety of these. TFTC
Getting to the root of the problem was a hands and knees job until rozway gave a sudden little scream, problem solved. Great cache. Wish the geo kid had found this one. I am a terrible NaN.
Raby Roamers I found your cache Getting Ahead on 27/7/19, 12:00 pm. This is my find 2429 and find # 5 today. Walked straight past it. Wow, very well done. Favourite from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found with cullum68 while out caching in the area thanks for the cache fav point for me

Last day around the mega and tidying up some loose ends today with Karicka before flying home tomorrow.

Oh wow. That was awesome. Took us awhile to find this one, but persistence paid off. Loved the camo so well done. Another fav from us TFTC
This one took a little longer and the rain was starting to set in.... Very creepy setting indeed. Great hide. Fave point tftc
Another adventure for geohubby to do on his own. The warning about spiders in the description is well heeded by geowife . (Still suffering from heebie jeebies ). Geohubby texted her a pic saying “I hope this is it”.... bahahaha . I thought we’d already found Captain Jack . A fun series though, never quite sure what your going to find next! Appreciate the effort that’s gone into preparing & maintaining these hides. TFTC RR
Took me a couple minutes to locate this cache, was too focused on the large object nearby but then soon spotted something that matched the hint! I slowly uncovered the hide, and was also unsure if it was the cache for a second or two. Now that is super creepy, seen camo like this a few times before but this one is well done!
Thanks Raby Roamers, another FP for the work done here

Spotted a likely hide after a few minutes looking around but wasn't 100% sure it was the cache to start with! Great camo! TFTC & FP!

Out on a very warm day for a days caching around Ingleburn with morty8888 to tackle a bunch of the CO's caches which have been on one of my many lists for a considerable time. The plan was to walk their short power trail and then visit a couple of their other caches. All containers had the CO's personal touch and in keeping with their request we have not posted any photos; so I recommend that fellow cachers get out there and see these caches for yourselves. Here we ventured into the dark and unknown and wandered around in circles for awhile until something caught my eye that needed further investigation. Bingo this looks like what we are looking for. Another fun cache and have another fav point Raby Roamers. Cheers and TFTC.
The last caching day with Oldmorty for the year and we headed to find a bunch of caches by the Baby Roamers. I hadn't heard of their offerings but we had been advised it was worth the trip and we weren't disappointed. We looked in a number of places but when I saw something that resembled the hint, Oldmorty got down and dirty and pulled up the cache. Love it! TFTC and another FP!
Found with WaywardWoman. This one took us a while. We thought we knew what it would be and where it would be, from the hint. However we focused on the wrong area even though it didnt make sense for it to be there. So stopped for a minute and looked elsewhere. Another spot drew us in and we looked in but then nothing. But as we were leaving that spot something caught my eye and we took a closer look and there it was! A brilliant cache that deserves a fav point. TFTC
#4742- well I think we definitely saved the two best caches for the last two of our day. Down from the mountains for another wonderful day of caching, this time with thomo31. We went into the bush and I admit we were having a bit of trouble locking down the spot because of tree cover, but after a few times circling around, thomo31 spotted something which matched the clue. And after a bit further investigation, we made the find.
Another brilliant Raby Roamers cache and another favourite point from me.

Armed with favorite points and being a Geocaching ‘Connoisseur’ I drove up to Raby to hit this trail of high favorited caches, so happy I did. All caches were in pristine condition, and all were loads of fun.
#5 for the day, and I just loved the crumpled mess of the termite mounds, they are so light for their size. But back to locating the cache, and bam, I thought I was back at work....

OCW Mrs Aries today to get some numbers for my 3,000th find (nearly there).
As we found our way through the dank dark rain forest the distant sound of a train whistle was heard. That sort of added to the creepiness even though it was daytime. We didn't know what to expect until Mrs A spotted the unexpected.
A forensic search uncovered some evidence, so with shaking hands we managed to get to the cache. Signed the log and put things back in order. TFTC Raby Roamers and a FP.

Easy spooky find.
Interesting container, as a previous log says good thing it's in an out of the way placement.

cool cache. good thing it's somewhere the average person won't find it or else it would be in the news
Getting dark as we approached this one and Geokid 9 was not happy about the thought of going into the darker bush. Upon getting to ground zero we found the biggest thing with 8 legs I'd seen in a while. Must have scared someone to death cause I had to use their head to get at the log! Desipte his first fears Geokid 9 had a smile on his face at this point. Pitmaan clan and I were being eaten alive by mozzies at this point
It was just starting to get dark when the geo squad set off to find this one, into the woods we go with a few protests from the geo kids, if we hurry we will hopefully find before dark I say, secretly thinking this is a Raby Roamers cache, found a big long legged friend first before Ltwork set to work doing what she needed to , to get us that name on the log. The geo kids loved this one after a bit of hesitation by one, RR you have amused us again! TFTC fav point.
Had to be in Campbelltown todat for some shopping and had time to pick up some caches. Normally this area (even more Narellan and Camden) are not my lucky caching areas and I have to leave a lot of DNF's. Today was fine, only 1 DNF and I think that one was on me? Lots of great finds and good caching ideas! Thanks for the caches everyone. Glad I am in Belanglo next week, not today!

A spooky area to explore, with large spiders that would have freaked out my geo-daughter- if she was with us today. After a forensic examination of the cache the log was located. Some great brain matter went into preparing this one. Another favourite point from us, thanks RR.
Oh for flips sake! I literally screamed at GZ. Geodad thought something had bitten me! Another memorable cache!
This had us so confused at first as we thought it must be in one place that would hide a bison. We were about to log a DNF when GDAU saw something that seemed to be a bit of camo. Then I saw another bit and after removal - Ahh! What's that? Out here in the bush? Using some brainpower we were able to get ahead of ourselves and had CIH. Fantastic work has gone into this series. Out today with Brewmaker to find some caches around Ingleburn including some in the Raby Roamers power trail series.
We parked the car at the designated parking spot and then headed off along the track. This one had us going in circles. We looked at many spots and I settled on one place when I located something strange looking but no cache could be seen. We were about to give up when I spotted something that looked a little out of place. On further investigation Brew suddenly revealed more and more of...I couldn't believe my eyes what I was actually seeing! And the cache container - haha very fitting. I really had to use my brain to figure this one out.
It seems the previous finder had covered it all a little too well (making it almost impossible to find), so after signing the log we replaced it with a bit of the camo showing so the next finder would have a better chance of finding it.
We only did half the trail but all the caches were incredibly inventive and creative, and yet all very different. Can't wait to return and do the rest. Very difficult not to dish out the favourite points here. TFTC

Spiders and Team MavEtJu aren't very good friends, so I went in first to make sure the coast was clear. Well it wasn't "clear" but at least there was nothing that would eat us. We then mulled over the hint which eventually revealed the fabulous container. Gee whiz Raby Roamers, you really are a creative cookie. I took a selfie with my new friend and replaced as found. Another one that I would give more favourite points to if I could. Thanks for a wonderful day out in Ingleburn.
Today I was out caching with ziggiau, again! Ingleburn, be afraid, we are coming through.
Dark forest, huge spiders, this place is like a haunted house. I wonder what we will find at the Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah run for your life!!!!!!!

The eleventh of the day out with Rainbow Spirit while my car was getting serviced.
We took longer to get to Gz than we did to get our head around making the find. We should have used our brain and put more thought into accessing the right spot.

After searching around and brushing over the obvious place we finally put a hand on it and OMG what a shock. One of the most fun caches I have done with the geo kids best part has to be that I was introducing a friend and her geo kid to caching and I think it's fair to say they will be going again. TFTC
Thanks for the cache that is less than 1 km from home but it did take about 2 km to get there.
It is no wonder that it already has got so many favourites. A lot of brain power has gone into the hide. I am looking forward to finding the other hides over the next few days as I fill in some of the missing days in my years.
I used to come through here regularly when I was much fitter and it loved to get off the beaten track. I thought I had spotted the hide from a little way away but that of course was too simple.
You did give me one of the best moments of geocaching when I found it!

Only about 20m of dense bush, but it was enough to confuse the etrex. Dan found a possible spot and carefully geogroped, hoping there weren't any spiders. Sue found the correct spot nearby. She felt a lot brainier. Only after the find did we realise all the subtle hints. Another great cache. TFTC
#4369 (7 of 11 today)
Decided to head south today to Campbelltown for some caches today - in the heat!
Was hoping to grab ten and got eleven.
But after only three finds in Campbelltown today's publishing went off - and there was one, no, now two new ones nearby. So headed a touch north for them.
Got one - ambushed by the other. And then grabbed a few more - leaving for home forgetting I was walking past a cache getting back to *The Hademobile*. Oops.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Walked from my last find. No sign of anyone except one yappy dog in a backyard.
Scratchy scratchy plants on the way to GZ.
Quick find actually. Found the coordinates worked really well.
Made the grab. Ooookayyyy...
Ah, the last bit is a new twist.
Completed signing duties and made scratchy exit. One more nearby to go, but the T rating and attributes there aren't what I was hoping for...

(FTF) I set out today with only one potential ftf on offer, but to my surprise, more were published on the way.
Now this one was far more than i was expecting. Thin I've seen similar things done, but not this close to home!
Thanks for the cache.
