Logs
Quickly spotted the cache and went up to it Couldnt get the log out so took a pic instead TFTC
Found ittt. Very good spot but was jammed into the wall too much so we weren't able to grab it out.
After catching up with a non-geocaching friend I decided to check out some of the suburban caches that were around. The hint definitely misled me at first, I was searching and searching and then sat up on the rocks to enjoy the moment, and suddenly I had the cache in my hands!! The hint also suddenly made sense. Thank you Aykayem for the cache.
Found it! This was a quick, cute little cache!I did find it decorated with a few live spiders, though, but as I reached for the container they kindly stepped off of it for me.Unfortunately as I was sitting putting the lid back on the container, some muggles walking their dog went past. They looked at me confused, as I was sitting in a weird place tbf, I looked up at them kind of shocked and looking guilty as I didnt realise they were there. As they only looked at me long enough to get a glimpse of this particular container they probably thought I was doing drugs or something. Oh well. Thanks for the cache!
Oh so glad to avenge an old DNF of mine.
Thanks Andrea for this hide!
All in great order at GZ

Came here with Baristayan on a glorious Sunday arvo, looking to avenge one of her previous DNFs.
Honed in on ground zero pretty quickly, and then eventually managed to extract the groovy little container. Thanks!

Second attempt on this one as was previously muggled. A nice easy find without prying eyes around. Tftc

I think a muggle knew things were hidden there, because the cache now seems to go missing soon after I replace it .... so I moved it to a similar spot, not exactly the same - hopefully a bit less obvious - on the other side of the path ... so maybe it will not be noticed so easily here ...

I replaced this yesterday. Similar hide different location - 7.5m away, on the opposite end of the bridge/other side of the tunnel ...
Go find it
... before it goes missing again?

I was down there today, didn't realise I was going to be so close to this until I was almost there ... so after the group find on the nearby cache, I popped over here, had a rummage around in my Geomobile, and came up with yet another crazy Macguyvered camo, constructed from a paper coffee cup and some crochet yarn ... and, because I think maybe someone knows there are things being hidden there, I have left some bits of bamboo where the cache was, as a decoy, and hidden the cache elsewhere - not very far away - in almost the same spot on the other side of the path
Hopefully it will last at least until I come past again, and make it an even safer hide (I had an idea to make it blend in even more/be less obvious that there is even a place to hide anything here, but I didn't have the required supplies with me, or even prepared yet, to do that, so I had to improvise something else)
So ... now to update the coordinates, and enable it again ...

I was heading almost past here on my way home from further down South, so I decided to make the small detour and check this cache ... it appears to have been muggled yet again - no sign of it to be found, just a very empty hiding spot ... sigh ...
I could probably get creative with stuff I have in my geomobile, but considering how often this is going missing lately, I think I might have to try a different way of being creative with the container/camo, or see if there is a better crack/hole/whatever here to hide it in ...
On Tuesday I have a meeting in Woden, and should have time to duck over here afterwards, so I will see if I can figure out/construct something before then (I have one idea of a different way to hide it in the same spot, and might have a quick look now, before I drive home, to see if there is another hidey hole here, that might work better) ... so I might be able to replace this and enable it again on Tuesday, or it might be another week or 2 ...

Hmmmmm ... 4 days after I replaced this, and another DNF log?! - maybe I hid it a little bit too well? Maybe my crazy idea for camo was just a bit too effective? ... or just too weird - lol
I have just replaced this ... with another masterpiece (?!) of weird creative recycling
When returning it, please place so the shiny part is tucked in well (so it is out of sight), and if you can wiggle it in the right way so it stays in there tightly enough that it doesn't fall out, then maybe this one will last for longer than a couple of the other versions have ...

Based on previous comments and pics it doesn’t seem it’s there
I’ve spent good 15 mins on GZ ️

#342 Found today after work in a nearby suburb. Targeted this one as it was a missing hidden month for me. Got quite stumped here for a bit given I thought I knew exactly where to look. Had to PAF and found the cache on the ground and only because I was told what the container was. I’ve tried replacing the cache where it seemed to be hidden and as best as possible. There was no log inside but have messaged the CO. TFTC Aykayem a unique container
Last minute decision to go to Canberra for a few days of caching. Good friday event and then some CBD caches with excellent weather today.

I can safely say I’ve never found this type of container before, cool cache, thanks!
I will come and check (and replace if nescessary) this once we are not in covid lockdown here ...
(I only just realised there are a few dnf logs, and I am no longer working next to it, as I am now working elsewhere, so I don't go past as often.)

Could not find despite looking at the activity log and the picture. Is it still there?
Geokid and I had a pretty thorough look, but came up empty. Read through previous found logs and the hint, but we still couldn't pinpoint it. One for another day....
Cheers

The Geo-mum doesn't always want to go caching when I do, so recently I have arranged her in a cafe and me in a caching spot, it's very good for both of us, she has a nice coffee and what-not and I get a cache. How nice!
Today's target was Waramanga, I have been eyeing it off for awhile because of it's high cache density. Any place where a CO lives has a few caches! I actually was a bit greedier and went down to Fisher too because I couldn't help myself. I had to get more and I was near enough!
The Geo-mum however had a nice time at the cafe in Chilfey while I got a decent haul of 18 caches in about a hour and thirty minutes, I was on bike, I had an advantage.
Thanks to the CO's for their hides!
THIS CACHE:
This was a very clever hide, It took awhile. I actually saw it twice and even rushed towards it and touched it but dismissed it as the cache. The I read the logs and had a realisation. Wow that was a good one! However when I pulled it out a red back spider jumped out at me AHHH. Luckily I avoided to get bitten and signed the log. The ran away. TFTC Akayem!

Parked at the nearby preschool after hours and walked back to the GZ.
Unusual container that I’m unsure how it would go at a CITO event but still a clever hide.
Thanks Aykayem for placing this cache.

Was not expecting that, thought it was rubbish someone had stuffed there. TFTC

Writing this while waiting for a muggle to pass. Who goes out in this freezing wind?

Although I've walked past this spot many many times, this was the first time that I managed to line up being in caching mode, having a pen, and having the coast clear to search. Turns out the pen actually isn't necessary at the moment. Initially had a "Oh no, what have I found here? Is it a drug stash?" moment but it turned out to be the somewhat zany replacement made of found materials.
Thanks Aykayem!
Thanks Aykayem!
Oops - just remembered, as I was about to leave work, that i needed to replace this cache (which is about 100m from where i work - lol) ... I didn't have a similar container with me, but I did have some lig sheets, and I had a crazy idea and constructed something else ... probably even weirder - lol
Hidden in the exact same place (even used the one remaining part of the previous version, because it was there), so now "good to go" - ready for people to come and find it

For it. Next person be aware there is a red back spider right next to it - guarding the thing! codawives
