Located at 9:45am. #1541.Full log to follow. FP + 1. ! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement The Hancock Clan!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
BlacknWhite suggested we do this power trail. We were going to try on push bikes, but my daughter and her partner laughed and said to take the E bike to lessen the chance of a heart attack. Heathcote Rd is far to dangerous for bike riders so I had to put up with the leg cramps from just walking to caches after driving along the trail. BlacknWhite traversed the heights. I was the cacher catcher. 7th find.Had a great day.TFTC The Hancock Clan
OCW [Platyfly,](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=80a2adae-e405-45f3-8f78-92cf1a588444) our 7th find for the day.Really enjoyed the climbMany thanks to The Handcock Clan for the cache and the adventure
Reperio 08:43I was headed to Sydney this evening for a 2 day course, and so it gave me a great opportunity to find a few caches along the way. I took in the little detour to do this series, and for the most part of it, all the caches were found, although most had wither wet logs, or needed maintenance in some way. With the series being situated along a busy road with not a lot of room to park in most places, the process was a lot slower than expected. All in all though, a good day was had.Gratias The Hancock ClanAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Brought a TOTT to assist, climbed what I thought was a moderate height to suss out a birds nest I could see but no cache to be found; couldnt find anything from there unfortunately :/ TFTC Anyway!
Really nice cache in this series!! Ignore the last couple of notes, GZ not scheduled for cutting but some nearby trees appear to be. Not too tricky a climb and cache in great condition thanks!
6th cache of the day. We've been looking for this cache for around 30minutes and with a bit of climbing we finally found it! Great camo! TFTC!
Pro tuhle jsem si dolezl sam. A az vim jak vypada strom avokado bez kury.Vse o cele serii u kesky GC6XTEF. spreeuv & kecaps from Czech republic, Europe. Děkuji za kešku, TFTC! 11:23 hod.
My husband did the climbing for this one! Not sure I'd have gone quite so high if I was climbing alone myself. TFTC
I remember seeing this trail take shape, and come out in dribs and drabs! I always thought it was a really unique concept with different people extending the series based on who found the previous cache first! Never had time to come check it out though!
Today I was in the area and decided to finally check out this trail!
But after seeing the single lane road with a 90km/h speed limit, busy with cars whizzing along and next to no parking except for a small grassy verge, I decided to only grab 2 caches in this series. The "Large" and the "T4". It seemed a bit dangerous as I was barely off the road. Not sure I will be back for more of these caches unless I am with someone else who wants to do them! Maybe a late night run with hazard lights would be the best way to do this series!
TFTC
---
I think someone has stolen the avocado and small sized cache. The cache is still a T4 tree climb, however it is just a micro bison tube. I don't see any logs from the CO since a photo was posted of the original container, so not sure what happened here.....
The micro bison has plenty of names in it and looks like it has been here for a while!

Out doing this power trail with VicRoadnight and MinimumChips, friends from work. I had met MinimumChips years ago, and we had been geocaching together in WA last year. Then I met VicRoadnight over dinner a few weeks ago when I asked if anyone wanted to go out to see the full/super/blood moon/lunar eclipse. We had a great day out together! Finally sitting down to log these caches in August as I travel around the country...
Dan decided to cycle Heathcote Road to do these caches. He thought that it would be a bit easier than trying to park on this narrow and very busy road. Used my bike to get a step up. TFTC The Hancock Clan
We came back to finish off the power trail and had to start by coming back to this one. It’s good to finally turn this into a smile. TFTC
Wow! Out caching with Roomar_S and found it. Not an easy one to get to but a good place for meeting new caching friends @marienotanntoinette. Haha. TFTC.

Notified by CO that I am 'breaking the rules of the geocaching game' to log this as found without signing the log book.
So, changing my log to this being 'seen' by myself with Kate_H yesterday, wouldn't want to break the rules of the game!
Contrary to the cache notes it is very high up the tree and the trunk is slippery. We didn't consider the broken leg risk worth it and didn't have something 6 foot long to get it down with.
So, sadly, this will go unfound and break our nice long string of smileys.

Found on a perfect Winter day for a drive down to the Gong and surrounds.
Met up with fitzy65 and minniek for a fun day out and a big caching adventure.
A few good safe hides and not many muggles around.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache The Hancock Clan,

Headed out for a days caching with fitzy_1965 and Roostaman.
Took a little bit of finding but thankfully we had a TOTT with us...parking was a bit precarious though.

20,875. Found during a caching loop from Moss Vale, Wollongong and up to the Sutherland Shire with minniek and our caching Mate from Wagga - Roostaman !!
I mentioned to Roostaman - who was in Moss Vale for a few days caching - that we were heading down Wollongong way for a few specific caches, and we decided to team up again for what turned out to be a pretty epic day. Heading up the highway now and we started the SSFTFH Power Trail. The traffic was picking up now and parking was 'fun' ! Glad we had the elevating TOTT with us today !

Well after a day at a conference today was my free day to grab a few caches around the Sydney area. My first target was the Sunderland ftf trail and after that the plan was to go through the suburbs grabbing a few caches on the way back to the hotel. Ended up with 73 for the day plus a few dnfs, which is hard work on your own.
Tftc and making my day so enjoyable.
The caches on the Sunderland ftf trail were brilliant. So much work into making some of them.

After searching all areas geowife just happened to look in the right direction and off she went otherwise I think we would have had to call it off for the day on this one .
OCW the Bebes and noticed I hadn’t logged this when we came last time on 11 feb 2018 (I was then Stueygow) so logging now to tidy up the trail. Tftc
I couldn't fnd this little black avocado. I did attempt a couple of climbs but just couldn't see it so didn't go higher as there are plenty of others on this trail
So many good hiding spots and you put it up there. No thanks from me. Nice dray though.
I decided to take myself on a little drive along this road studded with caches - I could not belive how busy it was, I had to be very careful pulling off the road and back into traffic. Great set of hides, and not the easiest one here!! TFTC!!
Found at 10:20:10 AM: GAFF1 in the company of Alansee.
A tricky retrieve as it was wet and we couldn't grip on the trunk Took a lot out of p-pprass to get up there and then to hold on to unscrew the container and then what was worse to try and screw it back on again one handed [B)]
Thanks The Hancock Clan

Did these in the company of pprass. The day started off iffy and steadily went downhill weather wise. We managed 16 of the series before giving it away. The cars and trucks didn'nt help either.
This was the last day of our current geocaching holiday in Australia, and so we couldn't resist the opportunity to make the most of the last few hours we had before heading off to the airport to fly back home to search for the first 26 caches in this series. It was a crazy road to cache on with the traffic being so busy and fast, and so with the close spacing of the caches it really felt like playing dodgems as well as geocaching! We couldn’t find this one despite a good search at all levels, and so with wazza9 having confirmed it was missing he provided a replacement black bison container that Mr Team GBS then readily replaced as per the terrain rating. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
With a day off today, @crzymelly and myself decided we wanted to have a solid attempt at the Sutherland FTF trail. Our day started well, but the longer we went on, the more weary we became as the clues made less sense, and the parking became closer to the fast moving traffic.
The FTF trail concept is awesome, the hides were great (when found), but we weren't fond of the parking at many of them.

2 huge huntsmans had made the fruit their home and were inside it when I opened. At first I thought they were a joke. They were 100% real. Gave me a fright for sure. I let them out of the cache and left them be.
Tackled the 'Sutherland Shire FTF Hounds' powertrail today.
Pros:
Variety (users and containers)
Coordinates (pretty accurate)
Great to see the regeneration here after the fires!
Cons:
Dangerous road (100km/h, high traffic area, limited shoulder space)
Pollution (rubbish and car parts)
We were stopped by the Australian Federal Police, but after explaining what Geocaching is, they let us go on to continue the rest of the trail.
Thanks!

Trip away with woolwood9 and slowly heading to the Clear Waters MEGA.
Stamped logs as TM/WW NZ.
Another nice find for us today, thanks for putting this cache out.
Really felt unsafe in places on this trail - the traffic was crazy!!

Our first find in this series! Quick stop on our way past. Bottom part of the cache was agl - reunited the 2 halves. Plenty of bush tools about to assist in retrieval & return. TFTC HC xo
Find # 4036
Found with sesblocker.
Great coordinates made for an easy find. The fruit was on the ground so reattached to the obviously original location.
This is a lot easier than the Pure Evil caches on Woronora River, than goodness!
We give this cache a favourite point too.

Lol cute cache nearly knocked out by the smell of the tip, then eaten by numerous spiders and the mighty cricket guardian sitting on it in the end, but we survived!
With 30 in the FTF series, it was time to give this trail a crack. I had Team MavEtJu with me to lend another pair of eyes and hands and we made it from 30 to 1 in 3hr 15min. There were a few uncomfortably-close-to-speeding-traffic moments which does detract from the journey but it’s not really a park and grab scenario either.
High terrain rating, what are we in for here? Thankfully some other clever cookies had the same thought as me and more “tool” application was used than climbing prowess.
Thanks The Hancock Clan for being a FTF hound and participating in the series.

Decided to spend the Sunday out finding some caches, and the eye fell on this powertrail down south. Headed out and started the search. However, after ten finds we gave up, basically due to two things: The heavy traffic along the road we had to follow, and the copious amount of rubbish everywhere. We are sorry, but we did not enjoy these caches. Just to clarify; the caches themselves were of excellent quality, well designed and varied and mostly well stocked. The idea about FTF finders building the trail themselves is also a good one, but the environment put us off.
#2276 I have originally looked for this one but with it being windy and all the trees were swaying. Got to the first step but didn't see how i was going to make the next step. A leap of faith, I didn't think i was going to be able to do it. So I left 8, 9 & 10 for a later date.
This is that later time. GZ has changed a bit since I was last here with a tott nearby I soon had the cachein hand
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache The Hancock Clan

**Cache Condition:** Good.

**The Cache**
Found easily. SL and returned cache to its hide'y hole. Giving this a favourite coz I loved every little thing about it. I noticed how pongy it is along this road today, I thought there must be a tip nearby.
**The Day**
Woke up this morning bright and early and wondered what to do today - ah yes, I'll go geocaching, and why not visit *Seemyshells* hotel and drop off some trackables and run the **Sutherland Shire FTF Hound(s) Track**, so I bounced out of bed and looked at the sky, very foggy and overcast looking, but I heard the sun was going to shine, and shine it did.
Gorgeous day and quite warm while on the trail. Had four left to find, and desperately wanted to knock them off, but I know there will be more caches coming out and after missing this find I figured the remainder didn't matter - next time will do. Had to cut the day short anyway and urgently get home. OCW *DustyJapserJet*. Had a fantastic day !!! but when don't I when I'm out caching.

After successfully completing some Woronora River caches in the canoe we came this way to pick up the as yet unfound caches in this series. We worked so that the caches were always on the left hand side of the road, so partway through the list we did a U turn to find the rest.
There was no difficulty in finding the containers, especially as fire had cleared the vegetation around most of them.
It was good to see the regeneration of the trees and other greenery starting to happen.
Thanks go to The Hancock Clan for this cache placement. It is a pity to see the damage caused to the tree. Just hope a cacher did not do this.

When this series was first published we were talking with The Hancock Clan and Team Canary saying a bit of variety was needed and some jokes about what needs to be down to spice up boring power trails. Well we were glad to see The Hancock Clan grab FTF rights and even more happy to see what they did with the hide.
A free climb today and at this stage the only one of this trail we have done. TFTC

We parked exactly 113m from this one, and the previous! So geoboyfriend went back for that one while I headed for this. Yep I need my geoboyfriend scrambler here for this one. I did say being a THC cache it was sure to be a good, but tricky one. Well whadda you know? Love it!
Overshot the GZ at first. Backtracked towards the strange footprints. I enjoyed retrieving this one. TFTC!
Tackled the Power Trail on a sunny Winter afternoon. Managed to grab all 23 posted to date. Thanks. Wow, this took a bit of getting, and even harder returning.
All good to go again. The caches this far south in the series weren't fire affected
Found half the avo on the ground but left it in one piece where it should be.

I've attempted this one today with the car
It was quite hard stopping along this narrow road, there seemed to be nowhere being able to stop safely
A CITO cache event would have been appropriate here, there is so much rubbish everywhere here
Thank you

I had a big day of caching plan up north at the mysteries for the OZ GEOMUSTER but it was going to be far to hot and I wake up exhausted from hard week at work so I took off south from home. I started with some on the Alford Point bridge and have worked my way around to here number 1 on the power trail. I'm after numbers because I want my 2000th find to be the muster at Easter. TFTC
I just loved all these caches they were different and interesting to find thanks to all the wonderful Cachers who have placed them. One thing I hate this type of environment and on a hot day I was even more scared. But all was good.
Fav Point from me. This was awesome and the handles were just in the right place for this old girl.

Out for a day of Caching with WaywardWoman. We parked and headed to GZ spotting the obvious. WW volunteered to do the collecting and passed it to me to do the signing. Signed log and WW returned it as found. Nice container! TFTC The Hancock Clan
#4505- Out caching the trail with thomo31. We wondered about the terrain rating for this one- apparently it is not, thankfully, where it once was. I did the honours while thomo signed and gave it back to me to return from whence I found it. Thanks
OCW Rodney1210. Rodney avocuddled his way up the tree to complete signing duties. Thanks Rodney and TFTC!
OCW Coastblue. Finally getting to do this Powertrail that I’ve heard so much about. Those who know me know me know I’m not much of a tree climber, however, I took one for the team and I did it! Stoked I made the the climb. Cache# 744 TFTC
Streak Day #1695 - Out here nabbing some caches towards getting to the 5000 milestone for the OZ geomuster this year. We found the cache quite quickly as we spotted this last time but did not have the correct tool to retrieve it, so returning today we bought a ladder into the bush in the dark to nab this cache and noticed it was a lot lower than last time. So replaced where we found it TFTC
