Today we headed into Launceston to visit the physio. Was then supposed to be getting 30 caches to assist in my quest of getting to 25k by the end of November. Plan didnt quite go as expected as we ended up catching up with an old friend for a few hours in the middle of the day. All good though always nice to see friends. So instead it was 16 finds for the day and finished 2 x AL which was a bonus. My thanks to all the CO for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. A nice fun find which thankfully after our dnf at your other cache was a welcome relief . TFTC
Found it with the help of a photo from a previous finder. Took a little while but go there in the end. Coords are good and fave point for the container.TFTC and SL at 10:05am. PS: Wednesday is the best.
So fun. Loved that show. Fav for me. Day 9 in Australia in Tasmania. We are aiming for all the cool caches nearby as well as many different types. We have found the cachers around here super friendly and helpful. Thanks for the smile
hand this one was on our list to find with all the fav pts..went in with janjorjack and looked around for a bit and then came up with the hide..thks for the fun
I decided to grab some hides whilst waiting for the Boags Brewery to open (10:45 - 18:00, 6 days per week. Closed Mondays for anyone interested)
I decided to go for hides with high Favorite Points / Age and high D-T Stars so this was another to find.
Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ. A bit of a search then the well themed cache was found.
Signed the log at 09:52 on Tuesday 29 August 2023.

[Lurch was my fave along with Gomez... actually they're all faves ha ha ]

Loved the Adams family. Quick find very clever. Just staying round the corner at Birdsnest. Very lovely here. Sun shining today after rain all day yesterday
Wow, we love thing. Very scary once we saw it. We hoped it was the cache before touching it. If you stand there and look around and you see it, it really does scare you. We wasn't convinced that this cache would actually be scary but we were wrong. Quick find, in good condition, TFTC
After a relaxing massage what better way to just chill then to go looking for something spooky, I mean, go looking for a cache
I wonder how long before this area is completely built out

Parking was easy and the area was muggle free. The cache design is very creative and in great condition. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this marvellously creepy cache you made the Viking kids day.
Loved the Thing we found at GZ.
We did enjoy watching the Addams Family, Lurch was my favorite.

out and about caching in the Launceston area to get out of the maze, a sunny day as opposed to Hobart. TFTC TNLN log dry. This was the third time looking for this cache, found within seconds of going to GZ, this was not here for the first searches, oh well we found it now.
Thanks for the cache Berrybenders.
In the north of the state for the weekend with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's. We have searched for this cache twice before, we completely combed the area around GZ - collectively we would have spent over an hour here. After the last search I reached out to the CO for some help, and today we returned, hopeful of turning the blue sad face into a smiley.
We parked across the road, walked to the GZ, exactly the same way we had approached before and spotted it straight away. Glad to finally have a smiley face here.
P.s. just watched the new 'Wednesday' series on Netflix, have been an Addams Family fan for a while.

Day 7 of my Tasmanian Odyssey and today it’s all about Bicheno and a few select caches around Launceston…
With TinkerTom1 as my driver we left early, Tasmanian early, and enjoyed some time in Bicheno… High on our successes in Bicheno we turned back towards Beaconsfield and hit some caches on my list…
This cache made the list thanks to the fave points… and it became the last find of our great day out… it was TinkerTom1 who made the find…

Tassie holiday adventures staying near here so we (me and LukeSistema) headed out to grab some food and a cache or two! Definitely chuckles here! Thanks for the cache
It was soooky and cooky all at the same time. A fun container. TFTC
Exploring Tasmania with hellyonfire cache by cache. The weather has kept us on our toes and our ears frozen, and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks to all the cache owners for the creative hides and/or great locations.

Found With GeoMaggie2. On a caching day out with our four Westies. Thanks for placing this cache.
While in Launceston we did a few caches and this was one. A quick find of a nicely themed cache. TFTC
Hubby found this one easily. I was too scared to go into snake country in my sandals. Love the cache container. TFTC
After a recent DNF on this cache, and a missing cache just along the road we were relieved to find this one still intact and in it's correct place.
Maybe too dark to find. Also overlooking house inhabitants were in the deck and dogs were barking. Made it hard to concentrate. Another DNF but I feel this one to be human error
Hello Berrybenders thank you for the cache
I thought this one was going to be an easy drive by find so I sat in the car expecting EeePees to find it before I got out, but after a little while I got out and started to help with the search.
I was of no use as while I was looking for your cache EeePees found the very cleaver hide.
Found with EeePees during a fantastic weekend away.

I watched a lot of Adam’s family as a kid but I really don’t remember any of it! Must have been under 5. I think cousin It was my favourite according to my parents. Really cool hide here. I’ll definitely have to owe a favourite
Hi Berrybenders. RLD4963 and I returned to this one after having a half-hearted search on a previous visit to Launceston. Came up empty-handed again......we will have to return.
RLD4963 and I did have a look for this one but it was not really a sytematic search and because all the foliage was wet we weren't really thorough, so just a note to say we did have a look, no reason why it still isn't there, we will be back!
I was about to give up and was just glancing around when my eyes locked on it. Was definitely very spooky tftc!
Suscoe headed out today to enjoy the surrounds of Launceston.
We had some time this afternoon for some more caches and so we set about finding some up this side of the river.
Thanks to Berrybenders for this clever hide.
A favourite for the work done here.

Found this cache while out with nataliec1234, saw that this had so many favourites while on our way back from the zoo and just had to check it out. Definitely worth the stop!!! Absolutely loved this cache!! Thank you for this amazing cache!
We're currently spending a week or so in Launceston for a little bit of an end-of-year getaway - well, more a start of year holiday now! Happy new year!
Today's main event was a visit to Tasmania Zoo, always a fun outing with the family while in that area! As is usually the case when out and about in Launceston, SonOfSteel tagged along for the ride - and for a couple of caches!
We saved our caching for after the zoo, so picked this one up on our way back into town. Following our noses with this one, we found ourselves scratching around in the bush without much luck at first. Not long after though we ended up kicking ourselves a little when we decided that something we'd initially dismissed as random litter warranted a further look, and sure enough there was the cache!
Very creative container that definitely fits with the theme! Thanks for a fun cache!

22/12/19 visiting from QLD and grabbing some caches in between activities. Looked in a few spots with no luck. Stopped as my friend began to read some logs. As a helpful log was read I spotted something that didn’t belong. Love this cache. Definitely worthy of a FP. TFTC
I need to study the Addams Family characters some more. I was looking in the wrong direction.

Took a little while but soon found this really amazing container. Favourite Point from us. Kutgw
Found this today couldn’t extract and I didn’t have a pen but great spot. TYFTC
Strike 2! GPSr had me at the tree so I spent about 30 minutes looking under every Poa in a 10m radius. Nothing but wet hands and a couple of leeches.
This Cache was part of one of my biggest days out Geocaching picked up 38 Caches to give me enough points in the Cache Carnival Souvenirs.
Thanks 'Berrybenders' for placing and Maintaining this Cache, so cleaver and well done keep up the good work.
Have given a FP for this one

Being close for a puzzle the rating on this attracted us enough for a detour so headed over. Some movement in the bushes a roo darted off. We soon spotted the outer camo and extracted the log. We completed our signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Caught gridge98 coming out of the bush was good to have a ear bashing about our finds.

I came to this one about 1.5 years ago and never had any luck and the hint didn’t make sense, today I asked someone for a hint and with a google search of the hint I soon made a find, I gave the cache a shake and said goodbye.
Today I had 6 caches on the list to find, 1 DNF to have another go at and some others that I have been to before but have had no luck. All 6 were found without any issues.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

What a great cache. We took some time to find it and had to resort to google. I have never watched the Adams family so the names meant nothing to me. But google helped and probably two minutes later we found the interesting cache. Favourite point awarded.
After googling the hint to see what I was searching for, it was no aid. Unfortunately a DNF
No didn't quite get the hint and the few logs I was able to access gave me no more info. Had a good look but sadly no find.
This one had me wandering round in circles again and again and again, reread the previous logs so I knew what I was looking for, but had to reread the hint to get to it. Gets a favourite from me too, I will have to hand it to you. TFTC.
this one took us a lot longer than it should have we both of us searching in all the wrong places for ages, in the end we had to phone a friend who gave the goose a clue and while he was still on the phone I found the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Myself and goose of gooseandegg planned a trip North into the badlands to get some caches to help with our hidden creatures finds, early start for a Saturday with me picking Goose up at around 7 O'clock even with a couple of stops along the way we made good time which helped us to clock up 42 finds on the Saturday and 24 on the Sunday before heading back to the civilised South, getting back in my drive at just gone 6pm with 580kms under my belt, 66 caches in 35 hours while not a bad haul is less than 2 an hour, I must try harder next time!

I wish we had have been here to see Budgies reaction. I can sort of picture him jumping and am laughing as I type this.
Stainless steel rat and I took quite some time to find this cache. I should have fired up the real GPS as my phone was somewhat possessed today. We circled around and around but eventually closed in on it. Haha, very clever. I'm so glad we didn't decide to do this one one the dark!
A favourite point for this one Berrybenders, well done!

This was excellent! After a very hesitant approach and an audible "uuughew" cache was in hand and to the top of our favourites!
Very cleverly concealed, I must have passed over it about ten times.

Having found a few tricky hides, this one sadly was a DNF. Had a good look around the area but with very little to go on and a wide search area, I had to settle for a DNF after about 20 minutes.
Hi Berrybender
The best thing about this cache was watching Budge's reaction after he found it
My laughter almost severed our friendship there and then; I'm still grinning and laughing about it
Sainted at 1445 hours
Me; I had a good grip on myself through the whole experience

Bit of trouble finding this Thing. Favorite for Marrian is Wednesday, The Friar probably likes Lurch and Robin is Cousin Itt and Thing.
We'll head back to 1313 Mockingbird Lane after Control.

Great. Very happy to log a find on this one having given up about a year or so ago. Carefully watched by a wallaby relaxing nearby. Love the whole concept. Thanks.. and have an enthusiastic fave.
