The cache hiding area has been compromised and cache is missing.. Will replace soon.
There was a health and healing expo on nearby which it seemed all of town was going to be at fortunately that left the vicinity empty but a constant stream of folks overhead! I found gz straight away but couldn’t see the cache. On closer inspection I found what I was after! it’s not the first time that acrylic nails haven’t been helpful whilst geocaching lol . Tftc

Picking up Wombles&Co from the library for some late afternoon caching, there was no way I could not grab this cache while I was here. Wandering down to GZ past a homeless guy on a bench seat, I began my search at one particular spot where the coords seemed to put me. Coming up empty I searched a few other places, and eventually came across a cache I had missed upon first search of its particular location. Extraction proved harder as I couldn't get a proper grip, and the hoards of ants were determined to make this even harder, but with Wombles' assistance, I finally had myself a cache. Then back it went and we wanders back past our homeless guy, who was swigging out of his brown paper back while shaving his belly
Thanks for the cache johnwillem.

After totally failing to find this one last year and being scared away by the possible presence of live-in muggles, we were in the neighbourhood again and made another visit.
This time, we were more sensible about where to look and paid more attention to the hint. It wasn't too long before we zeroed in on the spot and found the tricky cache. A new concept of a hide for us. Good to have some shelter here from the rain to sign the log too.

The clue gave this one away pretty quickly, but i really aprciated the hide a bit different to the hides im used to.
Tftc we had a bit of a scout around looking in some Geocaching favourites. Then looked if there was a clue.....found quickly, good hide. Log in good order
Thanks johnwillem!
Thanks johnwillem!
Stortigirls and I had been here once before. We thought that the rain that day would have left he area free of muggles. That was not the case. A local had set up camp in the dry right at GZ. We left him in peace that day. Today, we decided to check things out again. No one around so we were free to search. On our previous visit, although we could not search, I had spotted something. SO, today, I headed straight to it. The cache was hiding there, nice and safe. We added our name to the log, rehid the cache then continued on our way. TFTC
Last time Selva Girls and I attempted this cache we were thwarted by the rain, and a local sheltering from it right at gz. Today with the sun shining selva Girls made short work of finding the clever container and adding our names to the log. Tftc johnwillem!
A quick one for us as the clue told us exactly where to look for it. Nevertheless a good cache.
We knew coming into it this was going to be tricky, and that it was!! The GPS led us straight to what turned out to be GZ, but it wasn’t until we’d inspected pretty much every piece of hardware in this garden that we returned to GZ for another look and it was an immediate spot by He-Squirrel. We’ve actually seen these types of containers before, but this is the largest of its kind we’ve seen . FP left for the sneakiness and the fun we had trying to figure this one out
This afternoon I headed out for a couple of hours, with my muggle brother in tow, to grab some of the caches that have appeared since I headed overseas in October.
GPS went nuts here so I spent quite a few minutes searching all over the area I even looked at the right spot but dismissed it as too hard to get into, so eventually gave up and called in a PAF Seems I just had to try a little harder, and there was the cache. TFTC, johnwillem.

We’re a little confused about what the sprinkle box was but found it eventually.TFTC
Parked up and walked back to GZ only to find all the local tobacco heads were lighting up within 5 meters of the cache. Waited for quite some time without them leaving so wandered off and had lunch at a nearby cafe which was good value for money. Returned 40 minutes later and the coast was clear so moved in for a hasty find. Signed and returned to its lair just in time before some more smokers came for their fix!! Deserves a favourite point for the idea. TFTC johnwillem
It was absolutely pouring down at home, so the local mtb ride was canned. Apparently the dark side is brighter than this side this morning.
Very quiet in this part of town. I don't think I would have found this one without the hint.

Great cache. It is only 40m away from where I sit at work. Didn't have pen as doing this too fill in time. Will sign another day. Log is now signed. Did it during my lunch break. D rating should be higher. More like this please.
Too many council worker watching us so we decided to try again perhaps on a weekend.
Had to take my son for his formal suit fitting just across the road so thought I'd stop off and find this seeing as we were passing.
I thought I needed a cache for my calendar but apparently that was yesterday not today.
Son found it straight away while I was looking elsewhere.
The geonote is just loose in the cache container, not sure if it was glued or something originally.

Popped in after a visit to the markets, no-one around the council areas so thought we would be in with a good chance but the gps was wandering and we were too nervous to search properly, worried that someone was going to jump out from behind the rocks at us, as we felt like we'd come across some peoples' home...
Out with Geopartner to find a few caches today.
This must have been published when I was in Cairns.
Wandered around the area and discovered a couple of homeless clothing but no owner.
GPS a bit scatty but soon an idea came to me and the cache was found.
Signed the log and returned to where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks johnwillem All good with this cache

Quickly identified and retrieved. Log in good condition. Signed & replaced TFTC
Found it at 3.45 on 29th September with pirate first mate grandson. Tftc me heartie.
Joint FTF with Lost in Transit.
We, and another group, spent time looking for this in wrong place. We were taken to an obvious place with no joy. After Lost in Transit was able to communicate with hider, we were sent to not so obvious location other side of path and cache was quickly located.
Please be careful, at least 2 homeless people camp very close to gz, would advise daylight finding only. Also popular spot during lunch times for local workers.
I had with me someone who had never cached before and we may have left him confused.

Found lots of other things like metal pipes, saw blades, metal rods. After the homeless man went past I thought it was time to take the kids away.
After a late night FTF up the road with Slow Puncture, we decided to grab this one also while heading past on the way home. The new coords were accurate, but we were still a little unnerved by the amount of homeless person possessions laying around the bushes here. Lucky for us no-one was sleeping here.
At GZ a little search of the hinted object revealed a clever hide. Thanks for the hunt **johnwillem**, this find makes #4108.

Distance from original: 79.7 feet or 24.3 meters.
I have been alerted that the entered coordinates took people to a red sprinkler box out on the path 20 mtrs away from actual cache hiding spot - this is not it... Apologies to those who searched this spot well ...
Adjustment should fix this

Tuesday. The Slow Punctures were out in the company of Orange Crew tonight.
On our way back from Minecraft. we took a stop in to look at this one. After parking much further away than we should have, we took a nice stroll over and around to the other side, and commenced our search. we saw the thing that it wasn't, and a number of things that it possibly was. In the end, we approached something that looked a little less like what we thought we were looking for, and that was where the hide was!
This was the 2nd of 2 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***johnwillem***, for showing us this place.

What I thought should be a rather quick and straight forward search turned into a bit of a challenge. In the end I decided to get in contact with the CO and ask for another hint lol. Glad I did because we discovered the co ords where a fair bit out. With the further hint we were able to find it quickly without any further issues and it gave the CO time to alter the co ords to the proper location. TFTC johnwillem
