Great walk up to this reserve. Nice views. The tunnel below is impressive. Easy find.

I have been here before but did not find the cache.Today I entered the reserve from a different location and was soon near an area worth investigating. Yep, the cache was residing there. SL and replaced as found. You need to move your cache.There is clearly a sign which says this reserve is Crown Land. Geocaches are not permitted on Crown Land. Cache # 6288

Thanks for the cache. Been to the tunnels heaps of times but never knew this track was here!

Came to Helensburgh with 4 other geobuddies to check out the tunnels. Unfortunately, the Metropolitan Tunnel was too flooded after the recent rains to enter it without getting a lot wetter than we wanted to. Maybe another trip. The other tunnels were more accissible so a worthwhile trip! We found the cache on the way, after arriving by train. It was quickly spotted and the log signed. TFTC!

After missing the bus into town due to a late train, we had to kill some time for an hour nearby, this cache and tunnel seemed fitting. After checking out both tunnels, we ventured up to GZ. A quick easy find once we got to GZ, but be aware of spiders, lots of webs around the general vicinity of GZ. We logged with included pen and we were now off back to the station to catch our train back to Sydney. TFTC, #222

Found after an awesome afternoon exploring the tunnels. Gunboats were definitely required!

Visiting family in Bulli and they brought us up this way to see the glow worms in the tunnel. Kids hassled us to see if there was a nearby cache to find.. a few minutes later, they made this find. TFTC JAM2015!

Last cache for this morning. Glad no one was riding by at the time, found without too much bother.

Dinner with friends in the Shire today, so headed out early and targeted Helensburg for some finds.
Thought I'd start with a *sidetracked* cache, and take it from there.
Grabbed three of the four near the station, and then headed south for a few more. Went for seven but only found six. And managed to leave my pen at one of the caches - so went back for it after my last find.

And I should say the red wine with dinner was particularly nice.

Found a track and made my way to GZ. Then started the search low. Much too low. Relocated and then spotted the likely hide. Well that was more obvious than I'd expected.

Made the grab, signed and replaced with not a muggle to be seen.
Then looked at the other tunnel - this one locked, unlike the first.

We had an enjoyable day caching around Helensburgh. We found 4 caches from the one parking spot. Very economical and good exercise for us seniors. TFTC

Looked at my stats last night and by getting 70 caches before the end of the year I will reach a massive statistic that I will never get another chance to achieve.

This year has been a massive year with so many achievements and reaching an average 8 caches per day would be a crown on top of everything else.

Headed south to build my numbers today and tonight I can work out where to go to tomorrow to reach that goal.

Visited trackables and added a favourite for a well placed cache.

In area, picking up some caches, walked up the track, looked around and soon spotted the container. Stamped log and replaced, thanks to JAM2015.

After visiting the tunnel, and trying to find the start of a bush trail, I lead us towards this cache. A quick diversion down the path and up a rock, I very quickly had the cache in my hand. TFTC.

Day 3 of our interstate trip. Chasing the 'Tour The Gong' cache and grabbing caches we could along the way. We had finished the tour and had come to check out the nearby glow worms - Fantastic! All in all, a great day

Here for the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! Our Sunday involved chasing down the 'Tour The Gong' Geocaching Adventure and finding any caches we could along the way. We were finished with the 'Adventure' but now it was time to check out the glow worms! We found a few caches afterwards. Our thanks to all of the cache hiders for their caches today.

Bit trickynin the dark but it was a good find

In the area for some SES work with kea26, took advantage to also tick off some numbers as I inch my way towards a milestone. Terrain not as bad here as I’d feared (and why I had left this one unattempted over the years) but while the arrow continued to bounce around several likely hidey holes, I soon spied some camo where the terrain rating made sense. Careful scramble, retrieved a TB and on to the next smiley.

A spontaneous plan to claims some smiles saw us hit Helensburgh. After trying to find parking we wound up at the glow worms tunnels and set off on our walk. Looking for a quick path we headed up hill and soon arrived at GZ. A quick hunt around and cache was soon in hand.

A beautiful part of Helensburgh. We almost bumped into a stag! Not sure which one of us got the bigger shock!!! TFTC!!

Had to do some climbing, but managed to get in and find it before heading on to the Old Helensburgh Train Station and tunnel with Mystery,Inc. TFTC.

Found while caching with granddaughter and SydneyBlueJays

Great spot, the tell tale camo was a dead give away.

Came to visit Helensburgh tunnel with a group, but there was a fair bit of hanging around. I didn’t want to waste an opportunity so I just ducked off, took a little walk in the bush, and found a cache. Good placement, everything in good order. Thanks JAM2015, the group barely knew I was missing!

Another one off the list today. A fairly quick stop and short walk to GZ where the cache was soon spotted. TFTC!

After grabbing FTF nearby, this was one we both hadn't found. After trying a route through the tunnel, we found a better alternative. Quickly spotted and signed. MrD prefers the tunnel option for a hide, but we're both happy for a smiley here. I see someone else found it earlier today too. TFTC

After heading out with Brew for a nearby FTF we dropped down in to Helensburgh to grab this one.

Needless to say we checked out the nearby tunnel first, then headed up the path for an easy find.

This looks like a wild bit of bike track, I reckon you could come unstuck on the improvised ramp.

Looked in several promising places but only found rubbish and a very bright neon orange beanie.

South bound for work this morning with a diversion to "The 'Burgh" to look for this recent cache.
Parked close by and with no muggles about (school holidays) I tracked to GZ. Didn't take long to spot the hide and do the signing. Replaced as found. A rather nice hide. TFTC JAM2015.

Had a bit of time left after dropping of a client only a few hundred meters away. Quick park, little walk and some struggles to get a good lock on the gps made still for a quick find.
