I hope that this is replaced soon. This wonderful spot is crying out for a cache.
We were unlucky here today, no cache spotted to reach for. We had a pretty good look (but obviously not good enough) but did not come up with a cache
Out and about this evening. Willow and I had a great little walk along the walkway! My pen decided not to work so took photo instead! TFTC
My gps was sending me way off but managed to find it. Lots of broken glass on the beach.
Went for a lunchtime run on this side of the bridge today, and when I realised it was low tide, I made this cache the target. Quick find thanks!
Remember coming here for a puzzle final which has since been archived so was nice to revisit. No problems in locating the cache and we timed it right as the tide was out. TFTC
In the area with Jag50 and Aiden29. The tide was reasonably well in but no problems getting to GZ. this took us a few moments to find as our GPSrs had us looking about 10m away. Mrs Jag eventually spied the cache
After an icecream at Takapuna beach we headed out to Northcote point. It was almost high tide, but there was enough beach for us to access the cache without getting wet feet. After expanding our search the cache was located. We were surprised at the number of cars using this little road!
Out with Jag50 and Merlot58. The tide was coming in, but we managed to keep our feet dry. Our GPS units were bouncing around under the bridge, so it had us looking all over. Mrs Jag eventually spotted the cache.
About an hour before high tide, but no problem wandering along to the GZ. Cache quickly spotted before a tour van turns up and people jump out taking photos of the views. TFTC
Out with batgirl5 hmm nearly high tide but we managed to get to gz then thought oh now it over water maybe later but then i spotted cache nice tftc Lokky1 October 15, 2017 16:41

Had an idea of what we were looking for but gps jumping all over the place. Finally ignored that and just went with our gut and there it was. 2nd to find. Thanks for another great cache John.
I noted this newly published cache during the evening, at some stage. But with the kids watching a movie and Mrs LC otherwise occupied I put it aside. Later on, with the kids now in bed I checked the cache page. With no logs filed and the tides about perfect, I decided to have a look for this relatively close hide. Went to jot down the coordinates, as the app was playing up on my phone, but decided I could remember all those zeros. Headed out the door and it starts to rain...luckily it was a passing shower and soon cleared. Turns out the suggested parking spot it is rather busy on a Saturday night. Anyway, made my way to GZ. GPSr was a bit jumpy around here, but I had the right idea regarding the nature of the hide. Still, missed it on at least one pass. Eventually found after some minutes of searching. The blank log sheet confirmed the first to find (FTF). Cheers for the tidbit of history and for the cache placement!
