Easy find, just be careful to check for shiny sticks. I found this towards the end of March, and my snake-o-meter was dipping into the red zone. Unlike me, just wear jeans and you should be right.TFTC

Out and about in Rocko while getting my windscreen replaced on Dixon Rd (broken on a caching run near the hard hat tree out the back of Collie). I had three hours to kill, so it was time to get the MTB out and ride and cache.

I initially DNF’ed this one this morning but after a helping hint from the CO, I dragged back some leaf litter to make the find. Time to scurry off to the next one!

We came. We hunted. We did not find.

Thanks CJ_252 but we had no joy here today.

20-Oct-19
We parked close by and ducked in through a gap in the fenceline. We stepped as quietly as we could in the dry leaves and just looked for the cache without moving as much as possible.
We sighted the cache after a minute and grabbed the vital number. We need to get back and complete the series but we are in no hurry. I have this strange feeling we may have lost the numbers from some of the earlier ones we found on this or another series in the area so we may never get around to finding the final. ( we never revisit caches we have found).
Thanks for the cache.

In the area making deliveries and had a few minutes to spare so thought I'd see if I could grab a couple of smilies. After coming up trumps at #1 I decided I had enough time to make a dash for this one. Luckily it was a quick find and I remembered to record the clue as well. Big Grin

Cirrus_WA I found your cache at 1:09pm, this was the 2nd of 3 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5499. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Despite the miserable drizzling day I was finally coerced out into the wilds of our local area for a day of caching - the first in ages, I'm ashamed to say!
This series of caches made for a very pleasant and overdue leg stretch. Most of them needed a fair bit of searching, despite the hints, and the critters are detached or missing from their containers. It's a pity that locations like this can't have decent sized containers, but they are now getting few and far between, it seems.
Many thanks for this cache, the exercise and the series, CJ_252

Earlier this week I asked urch if she had started collecting any of her mythical creatures. She didn't know what I was talking about, and a plan was soon hatched to remedy that situation, despite the weather trying to stop us. We both looked at where we should head for, and this Lakelands seemed a good place to start, being our closest to home not found. From there we continued on northwards, stopping here and there as we looked for caches that neither of us had yet earned our smileys. After having a yummy lamb souvlaki for lunch, was nice to get out and stretch our legs as we tackled this series. Found this one by a process of elimination. All good with both cache and critter. Signed our names, noted the info, replaced cache as found and continued on to the next one. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to find CJ_252.

Found at 8:27:00 AM.

I arrived here and my GPSr wanted me to stay on the track to search. So I did what everyone should do, I ignored it and read the hint. Soon after I had the prize in hand and clue in my book.

Thanks for the cache CJ_252, it was cache number 2469 for me and was number 4 in my run of 18 finds and 0 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.

Cheers Cool

A late afternoon walk with axell33 and the geohounds in a local piece of bush that I have driven past a million times! And, as we do, have started this series in the middle. Critter 6, last one for the magical coordinate clues. Now forhe final. Thank you.

Needed to go for a walk this afternoon, so decided that this series needed to be turned in a series of smilies.

Nice accurate coordinates meant that I quickly found the critters.

Out and about with richlink to polish off the latest offerings in the Civilisation caches. When we had finished them it was off to this series and a few other caches in the area.

All in all we had a great day, thank you CJ_252 for your contribution, your efforts are much appreciated.

Beautiful day to be out caching with iluvtrekking. So glad to see that the area had been slashed recently but we were still on the lookout for slithery things. No critter guarding this container. Thanks CJ-252

05-Nov-17
We headed to this area before the heat of the day.

Hi there CJ_252, we were out geocaching in this area today, 5/11/17, and found your cache Critter Crusade 2 GC7D0B2 at 10:05 am. Thanks for taking the time to place this cache out here for us to find!

This brings our cache find to a total of 8878.

Teamed up with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 to do this series. Bit concerned about the long grass we were walking through but no slithery creatures were seen. All the critters were found with one or two that took a bit of searching. It was good to find an ammo can at the final but be careful as there was a lot of bees at GZ there. An enjoyable series TFTC CJ 252

A nice day out for caching warm but not too warm.

Headed out to civilisation land to grab a few caches we've missed on previous visits. Got three caches in but was a bit worried about snakes with the 80-100m walks into the bush so gave it in after three caches.

Headed down to wellard to meet up with OOH YEH To team up and grab the new critter series in Hillman. Was a rough walk through the area, lots of prickles and alike filling shoes and socks and finding a bunch of micro caches.

Terrain was a bit snakey but all ok and managed to make a find of the final quickly in a bit of an unexpected area. Thanks for the series.
