I can see it but not feeling like a tree climb today maybe Ill be back in years to come
It is there but cant reach today as gardeners about. Beautiful spot. Spotted by C of N &C
Far too windy and wet this week. Couldnt even get a glimpse of a bison container. Maybe next holidays?
To many kids in yards watching us. And cannot see it anyway. We are unable to climb trees
Day two of our family reunion in Noosa.
Was useful to have more eyes spotting and to steady the TOTT.
Spoke to a very friendly tradie that was parked in the premium spot.
Thank you for this cache

Met Redbackspider at another cache. We talked about this cache. Tree has grown since I was here last. I volunteered to go up but Redback spider was happy to do the honours. Signed the log and it was returned to where it belongs. Thanks bug. All good with this cache.
dahumbug I found your cache WallabyTim's Secret Beach on 5/8/2023, 2:20 pm. This is my find 5945 and find # 5 today. With Team Benders, got the ladder out, climbed up, retrieved it, signed it and returned it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Supposed to be find 3000 but two mingle cars at GZ messing around with paddle boards. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to hang around. On to the next one
What a nice location! There was someone nearby preparing their paddle board, but they weren't paying too much attention to me, so I then ascended upwards. I quickly found the tethered cable tie with no cache. I made a PAF to the current CO and got permission to replace upon their behalf. They didn't even realise that there was an issue / it was missing. Whilst others may have used TOTTs or their vehicle to get to the required elevation, it was careful free climbing skills that had me at the correct height at GZ, and I replaced the cache on the existing cable ties (refer photo). Thanks WallabyTim for the cache placement, and [dahumbug](https://coord.info/PR8W6P9) for its ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.
----------
During this extended weekend, jesswrigley and I stayed in Noosa Heads. On Friday, we hiked in Noosa National Park visiting Boiling Pot, Dolphin Point, Fairy Pools, and Hell's Gates. On Saturday, I attended the local parkrun followed by a kayak paddle of Lake MacDonald whilst attending the [Four Mountains, Four Directions](https://coord.info/GCA5T0A) event, and then we visited the River Entrance Beach on Noosa Spit towards the north-west in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday morning, we had breakfast on Hastings Street and then did a small walk in Noosa Heads, before driving back home.
Today, after grabbing breakfast nearby, we visited Noosa National Park once again, and walked the Palm Grove Circuit. We then had one last play in Lions Park after I visited a few remaining target geocaches, and then we drove home across lunch.

dahumbug I didn’t find your cache WallabyTim's Secret Beach on 23/3/2023, 2:31 pm. Zip tie still there but no cache.
I can see the nice shiny bison, but alas I'm 2 old 2 climb up and retrieve it. TFTC JenneG and Budgy. North Nowra. Hope logging it is ok.
I was working in the area this weekend and had the ladder in the car so a quick pitstop was in order The lorikeets were not impressed with my intrusion and told me off loudly until I climbed back down again. All signed and returned as found. Tftc!
Bugger, we thought we might have the correct TOTT but alas not.l! Next time we will be better prepared
This one was less than a Km from our last tree climb & 3x harder. How the hell do you climb this sucker??? Well with strategically placed hands I was able to boost a into the skinny monolith . Not sure we were stealthy as it’s in the open, but there was little traffic passing at the time of retrieval.
Muggle65 and l parked really close to GZ and thoroughly enjoyed the secret beach. Getting into the tree required a little assistance Glad noone saw that. Got a little easier after the initial boost but still some big steps. Then the branch lean so you have both hands free to deal with the lid. Thank you for a very fun cache
Cool adventure through the area with my mate. Thankfully my mate was much more adventurous than I.
This was amusing.
There was an elderly gentleman directly under the tree at gz, with his phone out and yet was apparently not geocaching, only reading the news.
So he was rather amused after i pointed and the neighour also came out and we were all discussing it, so why not then scurry up into the tree for the potential amusement for all present.
A precarious balancing act saw the super tight bison eventually loosened.
Sadly the log is wet and falling apart and in dire need of changing. Not having paper on me, i somehow managed to surface scratch a swb an' tvj before tentatively rethreading it and making my quick descent.
Thanks for the fun!

Sorry
No pen.
Couldn’t be bothered to reach the cache and be totally blatant and feel absolutely entitled to claim geocache without messaging or consulting the CO = Instant Delete.
Plenty of park and grabs and other easy ones to find.
Happy Caching.

Spotee it from ground forgot to bring pen, and couldn't reach it anyway.
Used my trusty TOTT to reach this with ease. Log is very damp. Got a scribble on there but the log does need replacing as it’s turning to mush. Thanks for the fun climb and visit to this beautiful spot dahumbug
Went and watched the ducks on the water after my climb.

Passing by today and made a detour to this one as I had my TOTT with me. Parked at GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Log is very damp but I still managed to sign and then return as found.
The nearby neighbour was curious and we ended up having a chat for a while. Now they're going to tell their grandson all about the game.

On our way home from a weekend of caching on Fraser Island, triple turmoil and myself decided to grab a few target caches on the way home. We decided to head to Noosa and do a little night caching and grab a few caches in the area and one that was of particular interest. This was the one that was of most interest to me as it had a particular attribute I was chasing.
A quick look around and the cache was spied high up further than we could reach. So out with the TOTT I had on board. With no one around retrieval was very easy. We did have a problem in signing the log as it was very wet, but we did put a mark on the paper. Thanks for placing this one here and without disturbing anyone we packed up and moved on to the next cache in the area.

Still don't know what pigs doI have never had the opportunity to visit Fraser Island. Chamad wanted an adventure. A road trip and I am super grateful that he took me along. We had a 3 day road trip, on Fraser Island, Double Island Point and Rainbow beach, plus a detour on the way home to Brisbane through Gympie, Boreen Point and Noosa. Snickersallen joined us too and it was great to meet someone new, especially someone fun to cache with. So many laughs, frustrations and more laughs. Lots achieved. Some road blocks preventing some wanted achievements, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. This was day 3 of our adventure, back on the mainland. This section was just Chamad and myself as we made our way back home, caching along the way until well after dark.
After Chamad got the ladder out to access this one, the log was way too wet to write on anyway.

Luckily I able to send Mr. Herbz up to find this one. He always enjoys the vertically challenging caches. The thing that struck me most was the beautiful blossom on the tree. TFTC
Bring climbing shoes, or someone who can climb. My climbing days are over.
I brought Sam. Log signed. But log is damp.

Well whadya know? After a beautiful morning out paddle caching on the Noosa river we felt the need to claim a find. So after a refreshing bevvy and lunch we headed over to this lovely spot. I’d been here before but couldn’t climb the tree. This time I had a ladder and a partner in crime to help. So now my name is on the log roll, and I got to share this great spot with some one else who loved it too. Thanks for the cache WW and keeping it going Bug.
Easy climb.
A muggle was having a lunch break in his ute offered us to use his car as TOTT. He thought we were collecting gum nuts with atlh's extendable ladder.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here WallabyTim/dahumbug. Very interesting to note there are only 10 names in the logbook yet 57 people logged a find? A but sus hey? Some log maintenance (deletion) required!

A few muggles here today but we were happy to explain what exactly we were doing climbing a tree TFTC. What a lovely spot
*Time to be a leader, a responsible cache owner, a thoughtful person regarding humanity.
Groundspeak or Geocaching HQ have been slow to be on the front foot regarding this matter so its left for us cachers to lead the way*
**"With discussions here about whether or not or it is okay to ignore closures etc to go caching, please let me offer some perspective.
Given the likely death toll from COVID-19 in the USA will be in 6 figures at least (that’s tens of thousands) and more likely in 7 (that’s millions) as well as in 8 figures worldwide (that’s tens of millions), not following restrictions designed to save lives is industrial grade selfish.
So our streaks may have to end.
And our physical caching may have to stop.
Hopefully not too many of our lives will end but some most definitely will. And I am certain around the world some of our caching family have already died.
COVID19 hangs around on surfaces so you don’t even have to physically be in the presence of someone who is positive. Just touching a surface (cache?) they have touched recently and then touching your face will do it.
I really really hope that a “Hail Mary” comes through and we get a vaccine in less than the expected 18 months. But until it is actually here being given to large numbers we are all at risk. And while older people are clearly more at risk young ones are dying too.
As I am sure some of you are wondering about my qualifications to offer this view, please check out my background. Not too hard if you have Google or another search engine. “Dr Bill Griggs” should do it.
Please stay as safe as you can people.
And please follow the rules designed to keep you and all of us safe.**
Cheers to Bill, aka Brad&Janet for the information.
Yours in Caching,
Corey aka dahumbug

Wow we’ve been here three times, and every trip we’ve been on I’ve looked at this cash and can’t get to it. Today is a whole different story there was a Workmans truck nearby with all the equipment I needed. Made really quick work of grabbing this one. If we were back home in Canada I have all the gear in my car.
Seems it took a lot of work to do this one I’m gonna give you a favourite.
Thanks for a really nice caches

All is good at Ground Zero.

Ha
We didn't think we could retrieve this with a couple reading nearby. But No Worries ... they never noticed a thing.

but this little black duck is not going to get risk life and limb to get the smiley.

Found it - too high for the geokid to climb and beyond my ability so couldn’t sign the log but took a photo for proof if that’s acceptable?!
I was up in Nossa and bumped into dahumbug, who was doing a maintenance run.
He was heading to a climbing cache to replace container so I tagged along.
Lucky for me no climbing was required

As we approached GZ, a suspicious truck was parked at GZ. With a ladder set up on the back. Turned out to be our new friend and caching guardian angel dahumbug, whose excellent TOTT helped make short work of the retrieval.

A day in and around Noosa exploring and picking up a few caches along the way. Well not to easy to spot...we looked and looked but no luck so didn't attempt the climb.
After seeing all the logs saying that the cache was easy to find. I was kicking myself after searching for so long without even a glimpse of a green tube. Searching from the ground. Climbed the tree. Used the car. Still up close I couldn't see a thing. I'll be back when the leaves die down a little. Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
found while on holiday in noosa. easy find after bringing the car to assist. fav point. thanks
sadly the two of us were not tall enough, will bring the car next time and use it as a boost
Even with two tall people we struggled to reach this one. We got it in the end with a step up from the van. Nice hide.
Attempted to look for this earlier on while staying at a house a few 100ms away, but couldn't see it. Came back this evening and was really obvious, but how to get up?! A bit of planning for the most precarious free climb I've attempted but quickly got up there like a monkey possessed! Some one handed loosening and tightening adding to the challenge and soon I was back on terra firma. Thanks for a great cache!
Well that looks interesting. MM do you have the right equipment with you today I asked. Nope, chainsaw is up at Maddy's paddock. Bugger, one has to do what one has to do.
The main game today was at Noosa and involved walking, swimming, and the obligatory I was to content to drive while my geo-buddy navigated more competently than usual. He has been known to go on the blink
After meeting up with WallabyTim and KaleidoscopeCass at the "I do too" cache we moved on to this one with them. A bit of history behind this cache is that M and I tried to do this a few months back but as we arrived a party of people had just exited the water with their kayaks. They were parked right at GZ. I had sort of recognised WallabyTim from his thumbnail picture on his profile and thought perhaps that is him, after all it is his secret beach! We decided to walk down to the shore to give them time to pack up and depart but we aren't very patient and left after a while. Meanwhile Tim had also clocked us as being potential geocachers and it was only later when I had sent him a message about something else did he ask if perhaps we were at his secret beach that day.
Back to today - after leaving his other cache "I do too" where we met up, we all arrived at this one and we stood around the tree trying to spot the bison. M spotted it within minutes but I took longer! (I blame the wind!) Tim kindly moved his car so that M could use it in order to shimmy up the tree and retrieve the cache. Spent some time geochatting before it got too cold, wet and windy and we all said our goodbyes. Thanks for the chat you two! (and the cache)

Woohoo, 4th drive by without being muggled and managed to retrieve with help of 4wd spare!! Tftc
Omg how the heck are we going to get that... think the tree has grown, going to have to come back for this one... with car and ladders!!
Our last day camping at Dunethin Rock Scout Camp.
Todays trip was towards Noosa. Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.
Used our new TOTT to retrieve this cache, the cache was sparkling in the sun that was the easy part to spot it.
Thanks for placing this cache WallabyTim

Well l dont know how others did it but having a very tall van helped. Out with Kiwiz@GZ. Thanks for the cache
After some acrobatics cache was in hand t4tc don't do any more at that height please
Found it , last day in lovey sunny Noosa went for a big walk to get this one and a few others. Tftc
TFTC,
We had some fun getting a few new caches that have been placed since our last visit to t he area.
I find these hard at the best of times, but in daylight in front of houses. Now that takes the cake. We left because of a muggler and when we returned there were more swiming dogs at the beach. Once they left there were 3 children riding around the triangle and we though it was going to be a DNF.
Yes they left and we grabbed an item to help achieve the required extension and grabbed the log to sign. Placing it back I had my feet back the front and got stuck. Fixed myself up and got out of there wondering if the neighbours saw us. Believe they were fishing.
Left some for Christmas which should see us back here.
Visited trackables, added favourite.

After leaving because of a muggle, we went away and did a nearby cache, then to come back and more muggles walking their dogs. Eventually the coast was clear. Great to see new geocaches in the area, signed log and replaced. Thanks to WallabyTim.
Mrs Slow Puncture put out the call for anyone wanting to go kayaking along Cooloothin Creek, so Mrs Just a Trifle put her hand up to have a day of fun Que Sera and JACS Team were also up for some hijinks so it was a nice little group to paddle out toward Lake Cootharaba and work our way back finding caches along the way On our way, we bumped into the Cache Owner who also joined us for the day of fun
After finding all the caches along Cooloothin Creek, a plan was hatched to paddle out to another cache on the Noosa River and Wallaby Tim suggested parking nearby to this cache. While the cache was spotted easily enough, we needed assistance from the CO to retrieve it to enable our names to be added to the log
Overall, we had a great day out on the water and enjoyed all the caches we found.
Thank you WallabyTim for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I knew exactly where this cache was located as I had sat in my brand new car a few months before with mum as we looked directly at it. If I was in my old car it wouldn’t have been an issue, but I was not climbing on top of the new one so at that time we left it. Today as we were travelling in a group on a kayaking mission including the CO the cache was quickly taken care of and I can finally convert it to a smile on my map!
After finding Wallaby Tims caches at Lake cootharaba mrs slow puncture, jacs team and just a trifle decided to find marooned and Wallaby Tim suggested this to be the best place to launch.we all had a try to reach for this one when wallaby tim made a quick grab. Beautiful spot , just one couple enjoying the spot nearby.tftc
We came back with reinforcements but although the cache container was touched this time we could not safely sign the log without wrecking the hide or the finders. Definitely requires more than just team work to get this one. Unfortunately it will be one of a few that got away this time.
Mrs KE spotted it but we were not well prepared to retrieve this kind of hide.

Sunday. First cache found today for Slow Puncture with Muggle Friend Adriano in tow. We parked across the road from GZ and at first we were looking in the wrong spot – looking not too far from the cache, and then re-read the T rating. Ok, over here to this likely looking spot. With Mrs Slow Puncture using both Mr S.P. and Muggle Friend as a step ladder, we managed to grab the cache, sign the log and replace. Whilst balancing precariously on Muggle Friend’s back, trying to replace the bison with ‘righty tighty’ and realising I wasn’t getting anywhere fast, I tried the ‘lefty loosy’ approach and bingo! Cache returned to its home. Love this little beach. How amazing is this beautiful spot and Muggle Friend was drooling over the boats on the water.
This was the 1st of 6 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***WallabyTim***, for showing us this place.
