Easy find today, a couple of golfing ladies asked what we were doing in the bushes and we said ‘looking for a few lost balls’ haha! TFTC
A day out with SorceySal and Bree the Geodog heading from The Marsh to Angelsea caching along the way there and back.
SS made a quick find here, while we watched a Dad teaching his little kids how to smack a ball. Nice was to spend a Sunday arvo hopefully building a passion for the game.
Thanks popbacon99 for bringing us here

Out with bogonghazy and bree the geopuppy for a day of caching from the Marsh to Anglesea and return.
Wish I had of brought my clubs along. It would have been nice to have a hit with the others using the practice fairway. Lots of mozzies here but thankfully it was a quick find. The container is a bit wet. Thanks popbacon99

We came looking for this one yesterday with HPF but no luck - success today!!

Very big kangaroo nearby, very easy find (actually think it isn’t meant to be where we found it as was too obvious?)
Nice quick easy find, although cache was out in open, blatantly obvious. Not sure if muggled or not? Moved slightly to the left as you walk in on spot. Found with Sumnergirl77 TFTC
Pretty easy - just follow the tracker to a little path and then turn off the little path and look around - in a black box
I've been planning on picking this one up for so many years.
Finally today was the day.
Dam everyone is practising.
Lucky as I got closer realised the cache is out of site.
Certainly not out of site for mozzies, sun was out and eaten alive!.
I made harder work of the hide than needed, but got there in the end.

A day of winter sunshine, gave us the perfect excuse to be out and about caching close to the strait - along the iconic G.O.R.
No roos in sight today, we made the find and added our name to the log all in fair time. GPS was within 4m for us.
Our thanks to 'popbacon99' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

GPS was way off. Like 25m away. Thank goodness one of the geokids was right onto it.
Was gonna give up then felt dump when we actually found the spot haha, was hidden well
Fairly easy find. Put just a little bit more camoflauge so it's not quite so obvious.
Working tonight in Torquay, but before hand I needed to find my cache for the day to keep my cache a day streak intact. The streak is approaching 300 day and I am determined to make it to the full 366 days.
My GPS was being a little temperamental as they can at times and after checking a good few spots I eventually found myself in the correct spot to see the little fella. Delighted to tick another day off the streak I signed the log an returned all as found.
Thank you popbacon99 for the hide

During our holiday in this beautiful country we came to this place. We had no problem to find this cache. Close by we saw our first Kängurus.

#3820 We had arrived to our accom for the week and settled in. It was then time to catch a fish or two out of the deep fryer in town. Fresh fish = delish!! it has been a while for us inlanders. On our way back to our digs we 'swung' by to search for this cache, with an audience of kangas watching on, respectfully they didn't make a sound as we concentrated on the find. We found the cache a 'fairway' from where we started looking, however no 'birdies' spotted near gz today, but we had a 'hole' lot of fun here anyway as with a 'stroke' of luck we spotted the container ... TFTC popbacon99.
Good afternoon for a walk had a look at golf course with lots of kangaroos TFTC easy find
This took me a little while but I got there. The GPS said 8m at gz which isn't too bad.
TFTC. A little harder to find than we thought but got there in the end. Was perhaps a little bit further from the road then my GPS suggested. It could do with a decent dry out I think.
**Find #2742**
Staying in Anglesea for a few days and grabbing a few caches as we go. This was done at night with not a muggle in sight. After a brief search the cache was found. There was a fair bit of water in the cache, luckily the log book in its plastic bag was dry.
Thanks **popbacon99**

It was a great treasure when we found it. I thought my mum wouldn’t let me keep looking for it because it was raining so much! But as she was getting into the car I found it! There it was!
Nice quick find despite muggles teeing off nearby probably wondering what I was doing. Tftc.
There were a couple practising their golf swing as we discreetly searched for this cache. Took a little while as the GPS wouldn’t settle, but we got there.

Found with Macca. Spotted mother with joey very cute. Another beautiful day for caching.
Our last cache in Anglesea, all found now. We will have to move further afield during our stay here.
This cache has a little water in it. Log is OK at the moment in its plastic bag.

Yeah!! Good find! Kids enjoyed seeing the Roos. Lots of pesky mossies though
Find # 7225
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Down in Anglesea for a weekend family trip. While Tyred n Cranky had found quite a few in the area they decided to stop at a lot of them to let me claim some smilies.
Looks like all the golfers are too good today. No one was out "practicing" today.

Definitely a practice fairway, with someone practicing. A bit of stealth and Jinky had it. Found an FTF travel bug! Thanks for the cache.

We had a laugh at the signs here. Is it no high-fiving and no pee dancing? Or are the technical golfy signs? Regardless the Roos don't pay much attention to them. Tftc
Geocaching day with kenare and kenbryl. Had us here and finally come up trumps tftc
A nice quick find. Container had lots of water in it. Yuck!! Emptied as much as I could, thank goodness for hand sanitizer. Tftc
Found it! There were lists of hiding options here but eventually the right log presented itself! TFTC
Found it on very rainy and windy Saturday
Pretty hard just found it gps pretty annoying.
But found it at least

We were down here today cheering on the brave runners doing the Surf Coast Trail Marathon in tough conditions. A quick detour to a new angle for this golf course. No roos or golfers near GZ but we did find the cache! Geosense led us right to the spot. TFTC
In Anglesea today for a bit of a walk in fresh air and some lunch, followed by this cache. This is the spot we used to take overseas visitors to for their first encounter with kangaroos. None to be seen at this end today, plus the infrastructure has changed to accommodate many budding golfers at a time.
Phone GPS wouldn't get a fix under the trees, so we went in circles for a few minutes before finding the neat hide.

Down in Anglesea/Torquay area for the Long Weekend to take Geodog Penny back to the beach, finish off the G2Anglesea trail and grab a few others along the way.
We finished the G2Anglesea trail on Saturday, grabbed a few here and there while we were being tourists and looking around the area on Sunday and today (Monday) plan to grab a couple of quick ones before heading for home.
Over the weekend we have been to Point Addis, Bells Beach, Torquay and Anglesea areas to see what we can find.
First up today we thought we would check out the Golf Course with all its kangaroos. Yep today there were golfers and lots of roos. It was amazing to watch the golfers hit the golf ball over the ducks and birds that were just sitting on the greens and not going anywhere.
We had to hunt around in the area for this one but finally found it and signed the log.

Classic geocaching lesson from the coach-raindoctor.
I was nowhere near getting this on my own.
Heaps cool seeing roos at gz. Why pay $10 for the tour at the golf club.

Phew! Not the easiest find but we got it. Lovely golf course to stop and relax at
Been meaning to look for this one for a while. Left our trademark Dino behind
There were several floggers on the driving range but they were more interested in their balls than us. Snuck the cache out from behind their backs

We loved seeing all the roos. Wish we had our clubs in the car as we would have had a practice hit. TFTC
Didn't find it. Coords put me smack in the middle of the track. Tried a few spots around but no luck. Seems a popular area with the local kids.
Easy find in a likely location. Those strangely stacked pieces of bark are always a dead giveaway. TFTC
A pleasantly easy find on this very windy day. Left a TB to continue its journey TFTC pop acon99
Made my way along the picturesque coast the grab a few caches I've been eyeing off.
There was a muggle practicing their swing. Obvious to my searching.
Log signed and replaced as found

Spending the Labour Day weekend in Anglesea and so we set out to find some nearby caches this morning. A couple of golfers in full swing here, but mostly they were concentrating on their stroke and the little white ball instead of us! SL at 9.42am Left: PT and now to hit the Bakery for a coffee, before checking out the hottest act in Town! #5138 TFTC popbacon99
**# 20236**. Found on a warm drive down to the coast.
Hardly any muggles around and a few good safe hides.
Thanks for the cache popbacon99,

Monday 5th February 2018 on a beautiful sunny morning so a perfect day to head down to Apollo Bay and replace a cache that required some TLC.
Before the new cache was replaced there were a few new caches that had popped up recently that needed to be looked for and this guy was one of them.
Now that looks better with all similes in Anglesea.

Pulled up in the car park to be greeted with a kangaroo and her joey watching us from the practice fairway. The retired gentleman enjoying a practice was none the wiser of us as we hid behind the bushes and signed the log.
Thanks popbacon99 for the placement for us and others to enjoy.

Suscoe headed down to Anglesea this morning for a delightful walk along the river. The weather was magnificent for this activity, a good bit of sun, a cool breeze and no insects. Lots of people enjoying the walking track too.
After the exercise we headed to the Practice Fairway to check out this cache, some correspondence a few days ago with the CO confirmed it was still in place which was great to hear.
Well we saw the locals who were watching us too.
A short search and there was the cache tucked away neatly.
So we signed the log and popped it back for the next searcher.
Thanks to popbacon99 for this neat hide.
A good spot for GZ, nice and screened from all the locals on both sides.
We noticed the Golf Club runs meet the kangaroo tours for tourists!!!
