Found 9:05Nearby and looking for a walk with my offsider, we set off with this target. On approah to GZ, turn out we had to wait just a few minutes for muggles to be taken away and search began... a thorough search was needed! Luckily mr6 was on had for the low searching & came up luckyTFTC
Hard to be stealthy with traffic whizzing by, but managed to find and replace between muggles. Found on a little day trip whilst staying in Cairns. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Thank you for placing, replacing and maintaining this cache ready so that I could at least claim some finds today
Thanks MandyLou25 for placing this cache.
I found it with my niece. It was her first cache! My second up here in nth qld.

Got this one just in time, muggle showed up just after we left. Nice hiding spot, but beware: Busy area TFTC
TFTC! Finally found! That took far longer than I hoped. I scouted all the likely spots, not able to come up with the goods. Then someone arrived to wait for the bus. Do I walked away & thought about exactly where I was to be looking, so after the bus left, in for the grab. Feeling here and there, then bingo!
Back home in Cairns for a little while, thought we had better get a few, 16 July 2021 3:22 pm Tyfc MandyLou25 total caches now 2247
Getting a bus into Cairns today to watch first Taipans game of the season. Checked on cache and in place. You need to feel, you can’t see it .
I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 10. This was my last day around Cairns and I went South for a bit of caching, after lunch I went back up north for another round before calling it a day.
Thanks for the cache MandyLou25

Checked on this one today and it’s still there. You do need to feel for this one, you won’t just see it .
I headed down the side road, not the main highway to find this cache
Easy parking,
and easy access to GZ from the nearby parklands [^]
And like the previous cacher noted,
me eagle eye could make out the cache poking out from a ways away
So easy find
I put the cache back in a different orientation,
so it isn't quite as visible,
but should still be obvious to 'full bloods'
*The wheels of the bus go round and round,*
*round and round ....*

We're here for a week, and the kids were getting hangry after a long morning in airports and flights with rubbish food on offer, so we unpacked and ducked out for an afternoon snack. We needed a good quick one after our defeat at the hands of Old Ivanhoe (sounds like a rough bugger too!), luckily Captain James came through with the goods. Log signed, off for the groceries now..... TFTC

Passed by early morning after maintaining a different cache. Nice P&G one, thank you![^]
This was a two visit cache for us today. First we had just parked and opened the car door when a lady walked on by and sat at GZ. OK, off we go elsewhere and when we returned thankfully we had the place to ourselves. SL TFTC
We parked close-by on the parallel street to the Highway and spotted the cache as we made our approach.
Removing the log from the container proved problematic ..... big fingers, but Mrs Wazza&Kara came to the rescue.
Thanks for the hide.

A day of caching along the Northern beaches. Plenty of new caches since last I was on this side of Cairns, time to pick up a few oldies too.
First stop a muggle was waiting for the bus, second time I arrived just as the bus left!
Thanks
