### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Polygon650,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

After 15 minutes we too didn't find the cache. Given the precise hint, a check by the CO seems appropriate. Thanks anyway.
This was a DNF for me last year but today was the day I fixed that, looked where I looked last time and there it was, seems like it has been moved a little bit but now my name is on the log sheet and I am one happy cacher. TFTC
Came to Melton to catch up with friends . Thought I’d kill some time also and find some caches ! Thanks so much

After venturing out to Lerderderg with Jascat for a lazy stroll around the park, it was time to head for home but we thought lets get even lazier and do so drive by's so we stopped at this one.
Not quite a drive by but pretty close so we headed over to GZ and looked around, shortly after the cache was found and log signed.

After a day of hiking in Lerderderg Gorge it was time to head home. The hint had me a little confused as the cache was a little higher than I was expecting.

When the weather is too bad to do to much we go geocaching.
Out with my boys, “Son of Datruk” and “Mini Datruk” grabbing a few caches out the west.

Sadly previous visitors sadly left nothing behind we couldn’t even sign the log - come on everyone play by the rules - we left behind a gift
Out for the day with BettyBoo3747. We took our deadly treadlies to Melton South.
A nice mild day for a stroll / ride.
An interesting spot that we have not visited before.
A quick find as described in the hint and mentioned by the last finder.
BB replaced the log.
Thanks, Robmc.

15309 With another cool day forecast Robmc and I decided to load up the E-bikes and head to Melton, to gather up a few caches by bike before using the geo-chariot to chase up the Three Series. A nice little tally of 30 finds for the day. A most enjoyable ride too, although watching the preparations for more houses tearing up the scenery was a little disheartening.
We came up and over the hill from the far side. Fortunately I had read the past few logs so brought a new log sheet just in case we needed it A nice quick find thanks to the previous finder's log. A good sized container now in a safe hiding place. The old log certainly is wrinkly and has seen better days so I signed a new one and popped it in as well.
Thanks Polygon650

at first I logged a DNF ..then as I walked off I found it exposed behind the 3rd bench.
I have re-hidden it behind the 1st one and put rocks in front for camo.
CO may still need to check it’s placement. Tftc

Think this is definitely missing. We found a small pencil on the ground but no container. Perhaps need to check on this one. Thanks anyway Polygon650 for showing us this nice area
Had a good look for this one today with no luck, there was a lot of broken glass around. I'll put this one on my watch list.
The cache needs a new log and needs to be moved as your hint is incorrect also the cache is lying in the open. Please attend to this soon!

It's Boxing Day and we'd rather be out caching than battling the hoards at the shops. We've made the trip to Melton for the return of the 'Intervening Days' event. I think I attended 3 or 4 of these events in the past and there have been plenty of new caches recently published to make it a nice day out. Oh we're in the ghetto now. Broken glass and bong remnants strewn all around this part - someone had a good Christmas party. Thanks for the cache Polygon650.

Walking across from the car park, we almost waded through the soggy grass. The cache is high and dry though, even providing a comfy seat with a bit of a view for signing the log. Nice, relaxed caching after we had just negotiated the steep river banks.
Found again! Last time we came the weeds were over grown. Good replacing last time to the last finder. We added a little Ooshie to the container.

Arrived in the area before I need to start work again after an early start from home. I might as well grab a cache of two as sit at site waiting.
Container in the open and log book on the ground, muggled. Replaced as best I can, could do with a check by the CO.

Found with a friend yesterday, my first ever geocache. I visited it again today out of curiosity.... someone else had found it in between visits! They hadn’t logged the visit though, I added something new, hopefully it will be useful to someone.
Thank you, for placing this cache in the area... there are not enough around here.

Nice walk even if the cold evening air was creeping in. Enjoyed a stroll to the top just to check out the view too. TFTC
Found after a lengthy sit down waiting for muggles to clear the area, shame the area surrounding has been trashed though. Tftc
Wonderful park so why do some people have to leave there rubbish and broken bottles????? Anyway, great hide. TFTC
Parked the car at the wrong spot, so did have a bit of a climb! A lovely spot ruined by people leaving rubbish everywhere. TFTC
Location is off, must have been moved. Sad to see the amount of rubbish around, its quite distracting from the task at hand.
What a nice recreation reserve! Never knew it existed, even though I worked in Melton for many years. TFTC
Found! Tricky towards end as coordinates aren't right or maybe it's my phone or it's been moved.
Look behind the rocks.

Suscoe hit the road early today for a grand circle drive from Geelong to Bacchus Marsh, Melton, Werribee and then back home.
We had a delightful day really as the forecast rain did not find us at all until we were near to the Little River exit on the Geelong Road on the way home.
However we did get the cold atmosphere and the wind.
And of course the overnight rain ensured that the car was covered in a nice coating of Mud.
We enjoyed this trip a great deal exploring the roads around these towns and being amazed at the pace of progress with these new housing estates popping up everywhere.
Thanks to Polygon650 for this hide, all quiet today.
The remains of the burnt out bin looked sad.

Been a long time since I've been to the top here. The last time I was here there was a road up and they where dropping Dirt to build this hill. I would say it was about 1980. all ok TFTC
Found it!!! We had planned on hiding one here a few years back!!! Great minds think alike!!!
I had the whole place to myself which made the search easier.

This is one of the finds we made, while making our way around our Melton centred "Pocket Query". We definitely used the wrong access route to this one, but got there in the end.
Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres NNW of where we found the cache.
Thanks Polygon650 for placing this cache.

Last day of the year and a souvenir on offer, so out hunting I go. As a bonus, I only needed to find seven today to round me out to 600 for the year. I had a nice plan to do it all around Eynesbury, which went south when my CX500 went onto reserve on the road in. Not knowing whether there would be fuel in Eynesbury or not, I changed plan and cut back on the number of caches I'd hunt here and find the rest in or around Melton.
This one was only about 500 metres from the servo where I filled up, so the first in Melton. It didn't take long to find, despite me making a wrong assumption about the mountain and heading to the wrong side of it and having to walk over it to get to GZ . I needed the exercise .
The cache is in good condition.

I am sure I found a cache near here years ago. Anyway I was lucky to have a quiet time in here today and the seats were all vacant.

Found by Mary & David at 1458. Our last for a short outing this afternoon. A great park with its own "mountain", and happily deserted this afternoon. Found the cache ok after a brief search. Our thanks to Polygon650.
Lucky for me the park was quiet and I had an uninterrupted search today. Thanks Polygon650.
Today I decided to drive on different freeway for caching on the way home.
Enjoy walk toward the cache.
Thanks for bring me here and cache.

One would not know it's here.
A quick find while a muggle sat a bit away engrossed on his phone.

We enjoyed the stroll to find this well hidden cache in its good hiding spot. Plenty of galahs and corellas in the area this am - lovely playground and park and the oval area was so lush and green. Thanks for bringing us here to see this park and surrounding areas - much appreciated and an excellent first cache hide!

Interesting reserve.
The log was nice and dry. The Corella's are having a ball digging up the soft ground.

Ive walked around for abit and followed the co ordinates exactly and still cant find it not sure if im blind or its not here..
Soo it turns out i was blind! I FOUND IT! Nice little hide made a swap and signed the log me and my son thank you for the experience!
2TF! Huzzah! Thanks, Polygon650 for a good cache. As I alighted the bus and started to walk to GZ in the rain my thoughts turned to the weather forecast of storms for today. I kept reassuring myself that nobody has ever been struck by lightening on Mount Carberry, yet. The cache is well hidden and the log is dry. I like what you've done with the cache cammo. Please hide lots more caches around Melton. Who knows? Maybe this going geocaching by bus will become a thing! SL TN LN Returned cache to its hidey hole as found.
Nice little hide. Glad it stopped raining so i could find i few today. Looking forward to some more of your caches in the area. Tftc

I was in the area to finish off a series that I started a while ago
My phone went off on the drive here so I took a slight detour instead to try and find this one
Found the cache as coords are spot on
I then sat down did the log and enjoyed some cricket as well
Congrats on your first cache
I still must get around to that
