Had a fair look around but no joy. A very fluffy cat was slowly approaching down the path and looked like it wanted to be friendly until the dog over the fence starting barking loudly and scared it into the bushes. I like meeting random friendly cats so that was a shame. But no luck spotting this hide. Thanks MIOW4.
Nz_B has her eyes in this morning- must be the reflection off Mt Taranaki is assisting as it a stunning view.
I can see why Odie would like walking along here. A lovely gentle walk to the cache.
After having a rest after yesterday afternoon (i.e. sleep) we are raring to cache today. The sun is out and we are happy.
Out and about with LNM1961 revisiting Taranaki and collecting caches.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache MIOW4.

I grew up on a house on Clyde street, me and my best friend used to run down this path to the playground almost everyday after school, I haven’t been here since I was a little kid, it’s awesome how geocaching takes you back to places that you forgot about. Thank you for the cache
Thanks for bringing me here. I have found so many places today that I've never been to. Collected 2 TBs
As I approached, I eliminated lots of places that the cache couldn't be, so that left the one spot for the cache. TFTC.
I decided to go for a walk with JrGun9 on his new scooter and thought a walk around a near by block with a cache in the loop would be a great idea - plus I needed to get the farewell 2020 souvenir.
This has been a DNF but thankfully it's been replaced and today it was an easy find.

Went for after school to check it out, still there, have notice quite a bit of pruning been going on, have taken it home to dry out and put a new waterproof log in
Spent a few minutes walking up and down the walkway and couldn't find it, what does GL mean, bad clue
Thanks for the hint definitely made it easier lots of little treasures in there
We wandered up and down the path for a wee while before locating this cache at one of the more logical spots, which for us was 9 metres northeast of the coordinates at S39 05.191 E174 03.769. The best hint is the warning given. As the cache was damp, we added some silica gel. TFTC
Out working on Christmas Day, collecting geocaches. This one makes me think of Odie, Jon Arbuckle's dog (from Garfield). I just can't get the image of Odie out of my head!
Day thirteen of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is Christmas Day! And we are spending it wandering about New Plymouth, rummaging under bushes.
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Merry Christmas. Had to come check out Odies Walk today. This ones now tagged. Cheers
Day 13- Merry Christmas, Wednesday 25 December. Around New Plymouth again today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

A long walk with Ozlad on a nice day. Finally found on the 3rd try. Didn't think it was there the last two times. Tftc!
A straightforward find. I was glad that no muggles came by during my visit - that would've been a bit awkward .

Quick find today on a weekend trip to New Plymouth. The log book remains wet. TFTC
GPS was sending us up and down the alleyway for a bit until we narrowed it down to a likely spot. Signed and we were on our way again. TFTC
After a nice long bike ride along the walkway we decided to grab this on the way back home. Log book was slimey...shudder! TFTC
Parked up and made the short walk to GZ, and found this one straight away thanks to a good clue. TFTC.
All goid today, log dry. Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap. Thanks for the cache from Blenheim Bear!

I have a run of dot days to fill in at the moment and after last night's dark damp trip looking for a bauble cache I thought grabbing one in the daylight hours before work would make more sense.
Found this cache realitivly quickly. All in good order.
Cheers.

a day off so off for some caches , just the dragon no gem, she stuck working, nice easy find good size TFTC
Out with my Oma/Natril, and we found Odie's Walk, but we didn't take him for a walk here
On my way to guitar lessons and I knew that this would be a quick and grab before hand. Well apart from the muggle who walked soooooooo slowly down the path. I had to peer round the corner several times before the coast was clear. I was probably expecting something a lot smaller than the container but it was nicely camod. Dang it, forgot to drop off the tb's I currently have. Dang it just realised I haven't logged them out of the cache I found them in either. Oh all good thing I have half an hour before lesson! Tftc
Thank you MIOW4 for another opportunity to log a dot day. It’s very pretty through here at this hour of a beautiful late Spring day. TFTC
New Plymouth has so many hidden spots like this. Good to find another one new to me. TFTC
After meeting Miow4 at work just had to go out and get her new cache nice hide and a container ready for Tbs sorry I forget to bring one but this can be remedied TFTC
Second to find! Beaten by TaraTed by 20 minutes! Took a necklace, left ballet charms. Nice little path. TFTC. (Next time I will make the kids late for school)!
Out for my morning walk so as I live not far away called in to view Odies walk. Good hide and nice camou. Thanks MIOW4. {FTF}
