A paint job on the building has lead the the demise of this one. We will have to scheme something else for the area.
Finally visiting beckNmonts territory today, with a nice tour of the area. This was the second of six caches.
I hunted all over for this one but nothing jumped out at me. Too good for me today!
I hunted all over for this one but nothing jumped out at me. Too good for me today!
I've come past here twice recently and gave this a good crack, the first time was at night and so I figured coming in the daylight might help. Sadly I couldn't find anything cache-like in the area. Hopefully it's still there! I'll put it on a watchlist and if someone else finds it I'll be back
Fub found and go LAKERS! Brilliant and fantastic construction - found after some consideration. A fave point from me. Apologies for late log sitting in drafts - ooops!! Thanks to beckNmonts.
We were passing by this cache a while ago and had to give it a go.
In usual beckNmonts' fashion, it didn't disappoint.
A fantastic construction again. A favourite point from us.
Thanks beckNmonts for another clever cache.

A couple of years back when I was last in Berwick the CO asked if I was going to attempt this cache as it was her Father's favorite cache hide. Unfortunately I didn't have time on that day to have a crack at it. Fast forward today and finally being back over this side of The Big Smoke and we were back in the area again, staying at Wantirna for our Easter Holidays. Well we didn't have any problems at all locating the cache, but it took a few minutes of manipulation before MrsP finally worked out the secret top getting this one open and we were able to add or name to the logbook.
And as we were about to leave a car had just pulled up and we were asked by the gent "How did you go?" With a laugh realising what he was inferring to, we said "yep, no worries" . Nice to meet another cacher out and about today, but sorry, I can't remember you caching name. Hope you went ok, too!
Thx to beckNmonts for this great cache, definitely a FP for it's inspiring construction!

It’s tricky, tricky ... well, you know the rest. Fantastic construction and puzzle to solve.
Met some out-of-Towner caching too, always a pleasure to meet new caching friends.

Today we found The Mighty Lakers on our travels. Having a lovely day out with BeckNMonts and we swung by to check out some clever handiwork here only to find someone has done some damage. Still managed to sign the log after tipping out some water.
Thanks beckNmonts for being part of our geocaching fun.

We were headed home from Emerald and decided to take a slight detour to visit the Mighty Lakers. At GZ we spotted a likely spot but no there seemed to be no sign of any container. After rechecking the area around GZ we reinvestigatethere d all likely spots and this time I realised that the container might well be here. Eventually we hade the container in hand and were able to sign the log. An ingenious hide ... well done. Thanks to beckNmonts for the challenge ... and a favourit point.
A drive out to Emerald for an art class was the order of the day. With all 3 geo kids on board and 1 extra muggle friend, we all headed out. After the class was finished, there was time to stop on the way home to pick up a few caches along the way.
The grumpy teen decided to stay in the car whilst the rest of us got out for the search. Luckily there were only 2 muggle dog walkers on the oval far enough away not to see what we were up to here. We were prepared for a challenge here but the kids made light work of finding the cache. What a fantastic cache. We all enjoyed it, thank you. A bonus for me was that it filled another square on my D/T grid.
There was a border collie dog on the oval that ran over to us as we walked back to the car. Such a friendly little fella. We had a bit of a chit chat with the owners and the kids squeezed in a run around the oval with the dog, before we jumped back in the car and made our way home. The weather was also looking a little menacing here.
The cache and log was in good condition.
Thank you for the cache here beckNmonts A fav from us

Mid-week and we were onto it quick smart. Our first attempt failed, then Miss 10 tried something else and we soon had the cache in hand, once emptying the water out. Mr 11 told me that we definitely needed to give this one a favourite, because his mind was blown.
We found his cache today on our Late Afternoon South of Cardinia Reservoir Romp. A quick in and our here makes for a good start to the day. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
I’m trying to fill in some dates on my calendar so this one was today’s.
Very clever, found the hide but took a bit of work to get in it. I think the cap on top has been broken off so it was full of water but the log was dry.
Thanks beckNmonts

Such a cool cache idea. Knew exactly where It was at first but couldn’t figure out how to get into it. TFTC
We have passed this one a number of times, but we have always been heading somewhere, or the kids have just wanted to get home.
However today I started hunting Adventure Labs in the area at 6 am in the drizzling rain. On the way home after 9 am, I thought I still had some time and stopped off to look for this one. Didn't take to long to find it and then after some investigations I had an idea what I needed to do. Was a little stuck but then had the log file in hand. Everything was a little wet, but still good to sign.
Thanks for the cache Beck N Monts

Nice very nice!!. Good deployment here had me scratching my head for a few moments but then Aaaahhhh!! Cool. Favorite. [^] Not a soul around at this time and was in the area doing some cache maintenance and well gotta keep the steak going now.

Stopped here today for a well earned break. Sandwich in one hand and face mask in the other.
Made for an interesting juggle at GZ.
I drift passed here quite often but never have time to stop. The world is just too busy sometimes.
Coffee van Dood just left so I pinched his spot and made the find today.
Caching has taken a big backwards step in the last few months or so. Glad to have found yours today though.
Another favourite added to pile.

Heading back from Cardinia Reservoir and made sure to stop by this cache on the way.
When I was caching around here in March with buhfuhguh, he told me this was a fantastic cache to find and he certainly wasn't wrong!
A crisp, peaceful evening at the grounds with not a soul to be seen, perfect caching conditions!
I headed under the steps (despite my phone telling me that I was somehow still 12m away on the other side of the building, coords are spot on though) and looked to see if anything of value stuck out.
I investigated something in particular and found that it was a wonderful mesh of two very cool cache styles with the logbook in my hands soon enough.
Thanks to beckNmonts for placing this awesome cache, gets an easy fave point from me!

Was heading back home from a friends house and in not too much of a rush so I thought I would stop and pick up a few drivebys. An excellent cache, won’t say more, but well done. Thanks for the fun. Fav
On holidays so l decided to head down this way for a day out caching this one was the first of the day and I was not disappointed very creative well done beck&monts another fav point going your way TFTC
I had made plans to go to an event in Berwick today so I contacted My old caching mate Trailrunning to see if he wanted to meet up and go caching in the area, so after enjoying some Bacon & Eggs for breakfast at the event I headed off caching with Trailrunning and kids we had a fun day caching up and finding a few solved puzzles we had in the solve pile. Great hide, wont say to much but it gets a Fav from me.
Thanks beckNmonts for the cache.
Thanks beckNmonts for the cache.
As we left Berwick this morning after a great Meet and Greet event - beckNmonts suggested we find this cache - just because its a great cache. Well I must admit I misheard the name and in the hurry as we were on the road to the next cache I couldn't find "The Mighty Larkers". So while on the road I tried a different tack and found it was The Mighty Lakers. Then I noticed which suburb it was in. Not knowing this side of town I didn't know if we were heading in the right direction or not. After the last cache we were en route to Ringwood and I saw the locality sign and said there's another cache here and it is just 250mtr up the road!! Good Timing. So glad I found it - this was a GREAT cache. I found the cache then Bunadoorian worked out how to get into it. Thank you for the cache beckNmonts. Another favourite from me also.
Out with Rebel Acts and my kids for a day of caching. This is one of many found today. When we rolled up to this one Rebel and I were distracted by answering a PAF, so it took a little longer to get into the search, but once found, the cache was opened quickly. BEST cache of the day. A Fav. Thanks.
BeckNmots suggested that Grub62 and I come out to this cache on our way home from an event. I didn't realise that it was her cache!!! Talk about self advertising. Well we got to GZ then it took us a while to suss out what was different. Then the field puzzle. What magnificent work. It was on our way anyway but I would have travelled quite some way for a cache of this quality. Well done BeckNmots TFTC.
Repaired and log replaced due to some over zealous geocachers. Please don’t use force or tools

Excellent work beckNmonts. I located it quite quickly, but then took some time to nut out how to open it. A favourite point from me for the clever work. Tftc.
Found what we assumed to be the GZ easily enough, it was then just a case of figuring out how to access the all important log! A little playing around and a little more fiddling and we soon had the log in hand to be signed!
We took some time to figure this one out. But after a bit of searching we had the log in hand a favourite point from me
Caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
Caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.
An awesome cache which was easy to find yet wasn't exactly sure that we had it at the time. A perfect weekend to get this one as the footy season is over and cricket has yet to start. Not a single person in the area until we were about to leave. TFTC beckNmonts
Coming back from the virtual we did, I thought I had finished our geocaching day but I saw this green dot and no one around and thought … okay this one might be worth the stop, seeing who the CO was and I feel they have a real sense of fun. Well this had my husband full of joy, on how this was going to unfold. As it turned out, we got one part right and another part so very wrong. I quick message to the CO, that we had done something so very wrong, we were able to return with some tools to repair our mistake. It's such an awful feeling when you get it wrong but we were very quick to redo our wrongs. A fabulous cache and great location congratulations on another great hide. A favourite from us.
Finally with the area to myself I could search comfortably. Past attempts were cut short due to time or interuptions, but not today. I actually dismissed the cache at first but soon returned to discover it secret. Very very tricky, just the way I like it. Unfortunately the hide is collecting water, as i found the cache totally submerged and a saturated log. Great cache otherwise and a favourite from us. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
I have been here on several occasions but never able to search, once a man sitting in his truck admiring the fields, the next time I was searching and thought I was in luck but got rudely interrupted by the start of training, other times have driven past and the field in use so didn’t even stop. Tonight I came, the field was dark, the cache was what I thought, a clever little puzzle, even when solved I didn’t think I had. Was full of water but did not affect the log or the cache. Definitely a fav point from me.
Thanks beckNmonts for the cache.

I was out and about providing support crew services for teams of geocachers walking the Oxfam Trailwalker event today. So after waving them off at Lysterfield Lake at the start of the event today I had some free time before catching them at the next check point. I decided to to check out a few caches in the area to kill the time. After a couple of finds this one was next on my list. I parked the car next to the ground and early on a Friday morning the coast was clear as you would expect. Still took me quite a while to work it out. Spotted a likely area to check out but the clever camouflage fooled me a couple of times. Eventually, as Holmes said, when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however unlikely, must be the truth. And so it proived and I had the cache in hand to sign. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache beckNmonts. This one earns a favourite point from me.

Very quiet today as we entered this deserted reserve. GPS had us going to a likely structure. Once there we were on to it but hang on there is some real thinking that must place at this point. NO TOOLS YOU DONT NEED THEM stood out. Geowife then said What about?
I tried and things were starting to happen.
Loved the construction of this cache and the skill needed to make it work.
A Favourite point for sure.
Thanks beckNmonts it was Ace.

Grabbed this whilst geoboyb12 was playing cricket on a Friday night. As we approached GZ i thought oh no, there will be a game on soon. But no, lucky for us there wasn't anyone here. One car in the car park... uh oh looks like cricket people... quick they are coming. Phew we got the log signed and replaced just in time. Awesome construction, have to give it a favorite for sure.

Finally after many attempts at this cache with no success due to muggles, today Gz was absolutely deserted.
I had spotted the most likely hiding spot on one of my previous attempts so it was a quick inspection, executing and reset of the cache.
What an awesome construct container, favorite point for sure.
Cheers for the cache.

Don’t remember this one popping up. With some free time now MEGA commitments have been removed I dropped in to grab this one and glad that I did. A beautifully constructed cache and I was surprised at how wet the log book was given how shelter I thought it must have been, but we’ve had a lot of rain lately and I’m sure the log will dry out over the coming weeks. Thanks for the hide !
Found at 1:41 PM GAFF1.
We are sometimes stuck on field puzzles for ages, but this well crafted one took just a few moments to nut out and then the second part was also quickly dispatched. Nice work on the whole set up - there was no one around today so the solving was totally unhindered.
Thanks beckNmonts.

This has been on my radar for a while. Finally drove past and very quiet. Great location and great hide. Thanks for placing it. TFTC
This is a very clever cache. We have pulled in here on more than one occasion but muggles were about and we had no idea what we needed to do or look for. Now, we are certainly glad we waited until the area was empty. Don't want to give anything away but it is well worth a visit. Thanks for the cache. A favourite for sure.
Great to see such a well thought out and constructed cache. Very happy to have done it at last. Thanks for the cache and a bit of fun. This deserves a favourite.

Having seen this on the map (as well as the D rating), I had never allowed myself enough time to stop and look when travelling elsewhere. With a bit of time up my sleeve today, I stopped on the way home. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest. As most have said, it didn't take long to locate the cache but that was where the fun started. After reflecting on "How would I construct this?", to my surprise I had the answer extremely quickly. What an ingenious cache! The cache container did throw me a little to start with, but all good in the end. Gets a FP from me to add to the collection. TFTC
Field puzzles are always a fav of ours so much better then just a mint tin. Creative caches are always the best we headed to this one on our way home from shopping and being the grand final we knew it was going to be empty. The log is a bit busted id say from people not putting it back right. Bit we straightened it out and fixed it up. Really enjoyed this one tftc
Had just been out knocking off a few caches in the area and decided to swing past the gz today on the way home and try for just one last find while the area was quiet. Managed to eventually get this sorted after a little head scratching and a minute or two later added my name to the log. Great hide beckNmonts well worth yet another fave point.
Heading home from the event in Beaconsfield this morning and had some time to myself so decided to get some caches while heading home. Tftc.

So what was on the books today..... simple, I was to go out caching and cache on the way to my goal for the day....... Lyrebird Track challenge. But on the way I was keen to grab a couple multis, Earthcaches and interesting D/T's along the way.
Ah yes a cleverly done cache that has gotten an elusive Buhfuhguh favorite point. Upon tunring up I instantly found where it was hidden. But not going to lie this is where my progress slowed. I really struggled to get this one out of its hiding spot. But after a point in the right direction from a previous finder I soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache and the clever hide

After a great holiday it's now time to go out and do some cache maintenance and being such a lovely winters sunny day we decided to pick up a few caches as well.
This is our third attempt at this cache as the previous two visits there were muggles everywhere and we never even got out of the car. Today we were very happy to find the area totally deserted which was good as the cache did take longer than expected to sign. We located gz quickly enough but getting to the actual log took a lot longer than what we had anticipated but perserverence paid off, we eventually found the right strategy but even then it took us a couple of seconds to realise that there was another step.
We are happy to say that our name is now in the log, everything returned as it was and a well deserved favourite point left behind.
Thanks beckMonts for an enjoyable cache.

This was brilliant. Having to pass this location many times due to a game being played, today the coast was clear. After playing in the mud for awhile, we soon located the likely spot. Very clever and a fav from us. Thanks so much beckNmonts for a very entertaining time.
That took a bit longer than that it should have once found the location and very devious ways to hide a treasure.
Wow, what a great cache! Excellent construction and devious design, magnificent effort. Took me a while to figure out how to get in, but got there eventually! Thanks for a brilliant cache!

After attending the 3am WWFM event in Officer and then spending a few hours at Lysterfield finding a night cache and now the day was just beginning so off I went in search of so more caches that I have not found, this was one of them.
I arrived at GZ and quickly spotted something that I suspected would be the cache, after a closer inspection I concluded that this was indeed the cache and now I just had to work out what I had to do to sign the log.
After a bit of this and a bit of that I was soon onto something and now just a little more and I had solved what was needed, a short time later the log was signed.
Another nice bit of construction from team beckNmonts.
**Thanks to beckNmonts for placing this cache.**

Geomissus spotted the likely hide and it was up to my mechanical-minded brain to extract the log. Very nicely done beckNmonts. Keep up the great work!

I was sitting at home today and had finished what I needed to do but with the weather forecasting rain again I was debating on what to do. Netflix looked good but after a hour or so of no rain and even a small patch of sun I grabbed the umbrella and headed out anyway.
I headed off down the freeway and then into the lovely Beaconsfield hills to search for the new ANZAC caches. After finding all of those nice and quickly I decided to head home and look for a few of whatever I passed on the way home.
Brilliant time to drop by on a Monday arvo, no one around which is much better than when I normally come to these sort of cache locations on a weekend.
What can I say, this cache is brilliant. Don't want to give anything away but awesome construction. A favourite from me.
Thanks beckNmonts for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Another mighty gadget cache from the montsII's genius workroom that had our brain twisted out of shape until finally we had access to the clever log receptacle. Did we mention the CO was standing watching and laughing as we made the extraction? Just cruel
Thanks beckNmonts for another challenging brain teaser, bring them on

What a clever clever hide. Loved it. Found first by lokkisomerville with mistfink2208 and madzac. Thanks for a great hide
2nd visit here but this time knowing who the CO was made me take a different approach to my search and soon had the cache in hand. As usual extremely well built and camouflaged. Thanks beckNmonts
Now that was amazing .. congrats on the design and construction .. we really enjoyed the challenge .. a fav from us .. TFTC
I was getting pretty tired by this point and was almost going to pass on this one but nyochi said it was a good clever little cache and I should come have a look so with my curiosity piqued I went and had a look, very clever but I still found it straight away although there was a slightly different twist and definitely worthy of a favorite point for the effort! TFTC!!
Aww very cool!
Ive had similar ones but not with the same spin :3 gets a favourite point!!

Very cool cache construction here. Didn't take too long to figure it out. The second part adds to the experience too, at first I wondered what to do with it, then the ball dropped.
Great!!
Signed and replaced.
Gets a fave point
Thanks beckNmonts

It was after finding this that I screwed up at your next cache by dropping the log. Sorry again.
Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Such ingenious cache construction! Spotted it straight away but took a while to get the log out. A definite fave point here.
This has had me intrigued since it’s publication. My in-laws live in Berwick (some in the same street as the CO) so I drive past from time to time.
When Hera & I finally got the chance to catch up today for a caching day, this one was first on our list.
The cache was spotted immediately but muggles would easily overlook it. It took a poke and prod here and there before it moved in a way that we didn’t expect.
Hera and I loved this cache. It deserves a fave point. Thanks for your effort here!

Found it! And yes, this made up for my not finding the challenge cache!! Walking up to GZ I had all these ideas such as: is it magnetic? Is it tiny? Is it here?? So I just stood and looked for a moment and thought, there it is!! And it was! Fabulous! Took a moment to work out the extraction method. And then it still had me guessing!! Great work! TFTC SL Hope you do some more!!
My instinct was right! Pity I didn’t follow it for a good 15 minutes. Lol. Great hide. TFTC.
This afternoon I headed east for several reasons. Mainly my cache centroid is over 800km west, and I want to nudge it a little closer to home. Plus, there was a new wherigo to be found, and a possible FTF. I also for the first time in over 5 years headed out to cache specifically targeting DT ratings. So due to all these factors I wound up in the 'far east' this afternoon.
On a quiet afternoon there was no game on here. Other than the game of geocaching!
I was stumped for a few minutes, but realizing no tools were needed I put on my thinking cap back to front and soon retrieved the log. A clever and neat cache.
Thanks, beckNmonts - a FP from me.

I was out today with Biggles Bear for our monthly caching run, this time in the Dandenongs, concentrating on the Gembrook Cockatoo Trail series of new caches. This was our first cache on the way out there, and what a great cache it was. We were really glad that there was no game going on, because we would have been highly visible if there were. This one deserves a favourite from me. Nice job.
My thanks to beckNmonts for the cache.

Pretty sure I have found a cache here before but closer to the shed . Tftc tnln
Today we explored the area of Narre Warren East and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide.
We picking up a few caches and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ after finding an easy parking spot. Wow what a great cache, had us thinking for a moment and Mr "T" did some tweaking and managed to have the cache in hand. This was a great field puzzle and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
