I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi MIOW4This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
I think the log is gone no one after February has found it looks for I while no luck
I think I found the tree it was supposed to be at. Looked @ prev comments hmmm, spiky leaves oops, mid winter, no leaves on lots of trees lol
Found it eventually... Gps is extremely off! Walk the opposite way from where gps is saying and look for the biggest tree here
After fining three other caches in the Park, I ended up at this site being about as wet as I wanted to get. I was hoping for a quick find and I thought the hint was going to be ore helpful than it was. I had guessed there would be an obvious sign but maybe the hint is of a cryptic nature that I failed to decode. So, it just turned out to be a very short search and I will aim to put more effort in when I return.
Failed to find this one but Im out of practice and have a couple of impairments, Will try again one day
Out here today, cache still there, the log was very wet, so replaced, all good to go
#12,604. Enjoyed the stop off Junction Road in Burgess Park. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition. Although a bit damp, the log was ok to write on. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

Still following the compass when the MSP half found it. Cache container a little damp but log still writeable. Tftc
Did not u understand the hint, but maybe it's because it's not daffodil season?
Anyhow found the cache, and got to visit this special little park
Thanks for the hide, cache all good

After a full day hiking the Tongariro Crossing, I left the rest of the team and made my way to New Plymouth. Found it easily, but worried this might be in a place that muggles can find. TFTC.
Quick find here, it is well covered at the moment. TFTC MIOW4
Day 2 of a 10 day lower North Island road trip, and today it was Whanganui to New Plymouth. We started the day with checking out the Whanganui Saturday Market, with some success, before visiting a few sights around town. Went up the towers, had a great walk around Victoria Park with the adventure lab caches before hitting the road. Found a reason to stop at most of the towns on our way through. Great day, thanks all COs.

North Island Campervan trip Day 2
After the fantastic holiday I had a few months ago traveling around the South Island, making the most of one of those incredibly cheap campervan deals available at the time, I figured it was worth taking a week off work before the stresses of the usual holiday period to enjoy some of the delights to be found around the top of the North Island.
So seeing as I have to get to Auckland to pick the camper up it seemed like a great opportunity to break my drive up there up by going via the Taranaki, to seek out some targeted caches there such as the TMGT ones as well as some that would help me with my Jasmer grid, missing minutes (for a couple of challenge caches I'm working on) and any other caches that caught my eye.
Today was simply the drive up to Auckland from New Plymouth. This was an opportunity to go caching in an area I don't often get to and in fact haven't been to at all since I started caching.
This was effectively a park n grab for me today. The co-ords are accurate and the Hint helpful enough to make for a quick find. There were no issues at all with this cache or the log, which was signed and replaced before I was back on my way again.
Thanks for setting this cache up.

I am with big falla and this is a great walk as we went the long way to get here thanks to big fella
We've been to this park before, hunting down a geo cache or two.
This one was a nice easy find, thanks to a good clue and no muggles around to trouble us.
We left a pet rock - a badger.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find.

Out in Burgess park to do some geocaching. Forgot to log this one yesterday! Quick and easy find. First find of the day. #182. TFTC.
(# 5671). A flying visit to Taranaki primarily to get the TMGT geotour caches. Day 2 was to drive from New Plymouth to Hawera then back on home directly. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
The original plan was a short walk on the mountain but it was full! Plan B, a little bush walk. TFTC.
A nice quick find today.
It's time to start the trek home. This time down the NOrth Island west coast to catch a few more of the TMTG series.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Pleasant stop for a quick picnic. 7 trunks to one nearby tree was worth seeing. Tftc
Apologies for the late log, been over the other side of NZ. Found by Blenheim Bear , on a Pre Christmas wander down from Merrilands, to get the current souvenir. Merry Christmas Jennifer, the cache is still nicely tucked away in the correct spot. Thanks for the cache. Blenheim Bear . Have a great Christmas wherever the van is..
.Its raining again. Bummer. Stopped off here to get this one snagged and tagged. Cheers. So Im sick of getting wet so lets go to the Lye Centre, whick is on The Seagnoids 'Must Do' list. And what do you know the rain ran away while we were there. Well nearly.
Day 7 - Friday 20 December. New Plymouth area today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

It's raining. Not sure why we came out this way, maybe it was just to convert a gap of green into yellow. Nice park. Well, it would be if it wasn't raining.
Day seven of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is New Plymouth - Yep, it's a slow trip!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Back near the car I bumbled around GZ before finding the cache. Ziplog bag inside had been removed and log was damp, but still signable. Thanks again MIOW4 for placing a cache in this pretty area.
