Day 1 of the Tweed River Canine Club Show in Cabriata Beach thats the reason we got up and were on the road before dawn This means I get a day of caching in The Tweed and surroundsMy one and only DNF I think I found what the clue cryptically refers to, but its just as likely I put waaayyyy to my much thought into itAnother day then
A bit more physical effort than I had expected. Obvious hiding spot but more thoroughly covered up than usual. TFTC
Accio 08:47:15A most excellent day's drive - chasing old cemeteries and then out past Nimbin and back there for lunch. Route designed chasing the Aussie Liahona 'Resting' series - and it did not disappoint. Such gorgeous, peaceful and well kept places and so many in weirdly out of the way spots we'd never find otherwise.Quick find here. Thanks Aussie Liahona for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11541}*
A day out and about checking out (mostly) the dead centres of town. Like here, quick find at GZ
While staying in the area for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , we just had to get out and find a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Heading home in the geo-car after visiting my sisters. Stopped off for a few on the way home..
Decided to hit a couple around East Lismore after running an errand. Easy park and grab (after a little walk).

We spent the morning traversing the Pearces Creek/Wollongbar area, managing 14 assorted finds with only a couple of DNFs. This is such a pretty area, so green and the creeks are looking great at the moment.
Another find by Samuel after I missed it.... I need to lift my game today! TFTC!

After staying in Coffs Harbour for a few days, thought I'd do a few detours off the main highway on my way home.
On arrival here I had a look at several gravesites before making my way to GZ. With many options to hide a cache I quickly found what I thought would be the ideal spot and sure enough, there it was!
Thanks Aussie Liahona for your love of placing cemetery related caches, my favourite places to visit and reflect

I really love the peaceful graveyard caches, thanks for bringing me here and to so many Aussie Liahona
We came this morning and had no luck but we decided to come back and check something out again - finally with deafsanta a fav for me!
Out and about caching today and this is the closest I got to Lismore. Took some looking and had to PAF. Further searching and the cache was spotted. Excellent hiding spot. Giving a FP for its location and where cache is placed. TFTC Aussie Liahona
Couldn't find today the weather prevented proper looking I'll be back to find it though
A weekend away from Brisbane and an opportunity for a quiet drive through this beautiful area. We have driven from Alstonville this morning, and stopped here at the cemetery to have a look around. A bit of a search soon revealed the container and log and we added our name.
Thanks Aussie Liahona

Strangest thing happened today. Wayn0 and I stopped to grab the nearby cache that we didn't get when we stopped for this one. Your cache was there! Someone had moved it. TMWW were the last to find both.
We dropped over to check on your cache and it was missing obviously. We had hoped the nearby cache was there instead.
But I had a small sistema cache in my car (to replace sharps containers if found) do we went back to the RFS and placed the sistema there, grabbed your cache, and replaced it where it should be.
All good to go again.

Another very nice find today with woolwood9.
*Thanks for helping make our tour around fun!*
Stamped logs as TM/WW NZ or our full user names or tm421/ww9 in pen.
Haha should have looked there a bit sooner!

The plan is still going OK. I had allowed for a few misses along the way. So far only one DNF, but two DNL added to the list.
Nice and quiet here and a spot to grab coffee and cake nearby too was a great bonus.

Out today, trying to obtain all these clues for the ‘summer’ promo....
I’m now trying to gain all the last 35 caches, which is harder due to the distance I have cleared.
After doing some filming in the area, I thought I’d head east for a few caches.
Cheers

Grabbing a few caches on our way back north, to Brisbane.
Parked within metres of GZ & Mrs VC quickly had the cache in hand.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Parked up here. A close cache for Mrs Rubbishparty to find and a slightly longer walk for Mr Rubbishparty to find his. Both fine and in peaceful surroundings. TFTC

We were walking around for a while on this one and the gps kept bringing us back to the same spot, but we still looked in other places, finally geowife had sense and gave me a kick up the bum and a container was finally found although a little bit stuck to the surrounding camo. Stamped and replaced.

Found with Dutchie1950 on a great caching day with our wonderful tour guide for the day, DIamonJs. Loving the beautiful area. Tftc
# 2030 - On a little trip in my motorhome with friend Triciac2 in tandem we are visiting geo-friend DiamonJS (occasionally the CO of some of the caches we find ). This lovely CO has taken us out for two lovely geocaching days including some sightseeing in this great part of the world.
I like to add a separate cache note, and I know I have found this cache, but I have no recollection of what the container looked like. Senior moment!
TFTC anyway Aussie Liahona.

With our basecamp at the Alstonville showgrounds we headed out to get some caches. A nice selection of hides and styles kept us on our toes. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thankyou Aussie Liahona for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Our gps wouldn't settle so it was a case of going round and round until the cache was in our hands. Tftc
We wouldn't like to come across the pig that passed that!!! However, we had just enjoyed a very nice coffee across the road at the Spotted Pig. TFTC Aussie Leahona
The pace of life for me has eased slightly with my work load finally back under control. This gave me time this morning to catch up on some logging online for caches I've found in passing over the last month or two. This kind of gave me a familiar itch so decided to take a drive and stretch out the old geo-senses to unwind a bit.
It's hard for me to turn down the chance at visiting old burial grounds as I do enjoy checking out the old stonework. The CO has a knack for discovering these and in turn sharing them with us all to discover, it is true that I've begun to lose count of the 'resting' caches I've now been brought to. This one I had been to before at the nearby cache, but didnt realise there was more on this side. some old forgotten graves about.
Not far from ground zero I came across a spikey critter but he was waddling away fast. managed to snap a somewhat grainy image of the wee fella before he buried himself in some leaves though. Leaving him to it, I followed my GPS to an odd looking feature which made the search a bit easier than it otherwise might have been. The cache itself is in good nick, the log 50% full as I signed the top of the back. Cheers go to Aussie Liahona for the fun, and of course for the cache.

We parked opposite a nice looking restaurant, might get to try it before we head home. After walking a short way towards GZ I spotted a rather strange sort of camouflage and there was the cache. This is another well maintained cemetery and a good hide, thanks Aussie Liahona.
Another one of the resting series ticked off my list. Grabbed this one today on a beautiful warm winters day. What a strange object at GZ, perfect to sit on while the log is signed. It's amazing how much damage the tree growing in the middle of the old graves has done. Some of the people resting had to move sideways a bit to make room for the tree. Provides lovely shade though. Really enjoyed this one! Thanks Aussie!
Closest unfound cache to me. Found this on my way to tweed to the dentist at 0830 on 25/7/18 but was running late and obviously forgot to log it. Went to Spotted Pig for morning tea this morning Sat 28th and remembered that I'd not logged it.
Well that really is a big odd thing, must admit it made finding the cache easier than it would be without it. A beautiful day on the Far north coast, perfect for caching. 3398 1:21:00 PM Aussie Liahona without cachers like you we would have no game. Thank you. TNLN SL

Purple's first real geocaching outing for six months. The rain started as we were looking but a good result! tftc
Another date ticked off. Quiet spot. I had found a previous cache near this cemetery in a different spot. Good hide. TFTC
Today we drove up from Ballina to get a few caches in the Lismore region.
This one took us a bit till we then had a glance at the hint which helped us and we then found it within seconds.

Quite a few new caches have popped up since the GIFF event a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I've had little time to get around to any of them until today.
There was a cache nearby that I maintained for Team Robbins but that has now been archived so it's nice to see a replacement.
Was a nice easy find.
Thanks

While the rest of the country was focused on the Melbourne Cup, I escaped the hysteria by visiting this nice peaceful place. Horses all look the same to me. Approaching GZ I spotted something unusual with some apparent camo. Bingo, CIH.
Grabbing a few caches around Lismore with Mr and Mrs RoddyC, before we head back to Brisbane. We all managed to walk past this one. My phone was stubbornly telling me that the cache was some distance from where we found the cache....but sometimes, for no apparent reason, it does that the other phones were playing nicely, so that is how we located the cache. TFTC
When I first moved to the area there was a cache here by the time I got around to doing it, it had been archived, nice to see another one here and a *FTF* for us to boot. TFTC
Another nice hide here and a good *FTF* for DiamonJs and Brother Colin and I. TFTC

It is the week of the GIFF. The Geocaching International Film Festival.
It is the day AFTER the Lismore event and I am hanging out with DiamonJs and Rusty85 at their place. Some new caches were just published so we headed out.
A search search here before finding the cache. And that make 3.
Now onto the next cache.
Thanks for he cache.
