Hungover and chill geocaching day with my love, peaceful day exploring these areas. These days are my fav - Log signed with SCAHPA - TFTC
Loved this little history lesson. Even found a dead snake that had obviously gotten stuck
I had previously found the caches to the east and west of Peachester, but not those north, so today I had hoped to find these, including a couple just next to Peachester, which included this one (sadly, like always, we ran out of time before the event). An interesting little hose relic/sculpture piece in front of the fire brigade, but the cache's coordinates wanted us to the agricultural structure nearby. Upon approach, I spotted the cache and thus was a quick find; The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [dickbev](https://coord.info/PRA3Z4H) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, [georode](https://coord.info/PR2V198) and I attended the [Rainforest Meander ](https://coord.info/GCAZ098) Event and Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve near Maleny. We then headed north to Kirby's Creek and Curramore for a long walk, and then we tree-fished in Landsborough. After returning [georode](https://coord.info/PR2V198) home, I spent my last hour geocaching around Beerwah, on what was a spectacular day of weather! The [Exploring Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/c4644fe7-d773-4532-9119-634c0e36d492) Adventure Lab was also completed whilst undertaking a guided tour by [AcaciaWattle](https://coord.info/PR177AZ0).
An interesting structure. Soon found what we wete after. We are off to get some more local smiles. Tftc
Alyce and I decided to head out for a drive to get Jensen out the house for a few hours to help settle him. While out we thought wed head up to Stanmore/Peachester to grab several caches we didnt grab on a previous visit a while back.We were a little hesitant due to the area being fenced off and gated but after further investigations it was noted we had to be within the fenced off area to access GZ so off we went. To our surprise the cache was spotted instantly when we arrived. We popped our name on the log and replaced the cache as found then moved onto the next one. Thanks for bringing us here.#4310 - TFTC
I was on the north coast when I saw two new caches came out. I was a good 2 hours away from getting either cache as a FTF, however I did put a watch on them just in case. When I started my way to Caboolture for the event I saw they were still sitting there to be collected. I thought for sure they would have been gone by a couple of local cachers. I drove that way back and did a couple of the puzzle caches that I had in the solved list before I made my way to the first FTF cache. These puzzles I cannot remeber how long ago I solved but it was nice to clear them from my map and list. A nice series and some easy placements with good parking spots, thank you.I signed the logs and replaced the caches as found.
Drove up from Brisbane at stupid oclock this morning so my partner could take one of dogs to a show in Beerwah if cachers are crazy, dog show people are bat sh#t crazyWith only a couple of hours I decided to blanket cache LandsboroughThe inclement weather meant the building next door was empty which meant I could park with issueThanks dickbev
Another quick park and grab for me today. Interesting piece of history here, though if this area is accessed frequently I am unsure of the longevity of the current container. Thanks dickbev!

I love a historical cache so it was on the list to check out today. A double bonus is a very crafty cache container. Adding a FP for the double delight. Tftc
dickbev I found your cache Peachester Dip on 25/8/2022, 11:00 am. This is my find 4003 and find # 3 today. A quick and easy drive by. Love the camouflaged container. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Driving from Gatton to Sunshine Coast through Kilroy was the plan today. Hopefully collecting a few of the rose caches as well as some high favourite caches on the way.
I didn’t get as many of the rose caches as I would have liked but certainly made up for that with a number of other caches. Some very very cleaver caches that have given inspiration.
Tftc.
Great cache container

Nice hide, beautiful location. Not wrong about it being well camouflaged but we found it pretty quickly
We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
Searched around a large rotten stump as this was where our GPS said GZ was
Thanks

On the way home i stopped here to find this cache. What an interesting spot and a great camo cache.. Thank you for all the fun

Time to head back into town as the rain is getting much heavier but having a trusty waterproof jacket won't slow me down in finding some more hides.
Another beaut camouflage d container which was found quickly, well done again CO, enjoy finding your caches.

One of the things I love about geocaching is that it brings you to places that you wouldn’t ordinarily know about like this dip. We read about the history from the sign and then wandered over to have a closer look before walking over to find the geocache. TFTC dickbev
Caching in the company of GrumpyBump, after attending the CacheQld-Dayboro Mega Event, and still in the area.

This was my first cache for 2021 and found on our way home after a nice climb up Mt Coochin. I didn't even know this was here and it was a great quick history lesson for me and my two Geokids. I am pretty sure I wouldn't want to be bathed in that concoction.
Anyhow, cache was found quickly and log signed.

Accurate coordinates made this an easy find . all's good at gz . Favorite point for this cache construction ️ . Thanks dickbev
Out for a Freaky Friday with teamdfl Our original idea was kayaking at Bribie Island, but the threat of 40kph winds shelved that! Happily we both had plenty to find between Glasshouse Mountains and Bellthorpe so met up at North Lakes and travelled on in one car. First job was an AL, then we meandered along westwards using caches to guide us, and now we are heading back east again.
Loving the country drive out here. An interesting spot to stop, and a quick find of a well-camoed container. TFTC, dickbev.

Nice cache enjoyed this and managed to catch up on some local history. Caching with Muggle Jane ole our way to buy locally grown fruit and veg.
With Carø on a little adventure to Flaxton. After lunch in Kilcoy I picked this one out as the next stop to break the drive up. After a quick stop we had this one in hand and the log book signed. TFTC dickbev
Good time to stop for a bit of fresh air. Cute container, thanks for the cache, dickbev!
A peaceful and interesting place. Quick find in between passing cars. Thanks for the cache, dickbev.

I love cache containers like this one. Interesting spot . Tftc fav point from me.
A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. Heading west now, a bit longer drive between stops - which was good as the aircon worked, and the sun was hot outside. A clever hide here, and an interesting location.
Thanks dickbev for entertaining me at this location.

Winter the Geo-Cat was desperate for a bit of country air & there were no objections from either Mr or Mrs VC so we bundled up & trundled off in search of a few wayward caches.
As we hadn't been north for quite a while that was our chosen direction, north with just enough west to get away from the crowds!
A nice quick find for Mrs VC,
The cache was nicely camouflaged & cleverly placed.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Well done What a great container On our way to visit a friend at Mooloolah Valley so thought would finally stop and pick this one up seeing as we have time. Usually we scoot passed in a hurry. TFTC
A short stop on my way home from Esk.
Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

This was a nice little cache container. Quite an easy find. Interesting site.
A nicely made container. Thank goodness the huntsman mentioned by the previous geocacher was no longer guarding this cache.
A gorgeous spring morning was spent driving around the hinterland roads between Beerwah, Landsborough, Peachester and Maleny exploring areas we hadn't visited before.
What a great spot, I really liked the stock dip, I remember one like this near our farm way back when I was a kid. It's really well preserved, good to see.
The cache had a huntsman as a guardian, and I couldn't get him to leave the container, even after some gentle flicking and shaking. So he stayed on even as I replaced the lid, and I put him and the cache back where they came from. Clever design, adding a fave, that's what they're for!

On our way to Mooloolaba for the day and as we were driving past why not stop for ano0ther dickbev hide. Parked very close and soon had the well constructed container in hand. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro log sheets to save space on the paper as I tend to write a little on the big side. TFTC dickbev
Another great cache which blends in to the environment and lovely handcraft creation by Dick and Bev. Hubby was right on to this one! TFTC

This was an unexpected little bit of history! Great to see it preserved for future generations to see. Nice container too!
Too cold and windy for a Jetski ride, so we clean up some green dots into smilies.

What to do on a rainy Saturday? How about a drive in the country... and find some caches - aiming for those not requiring long walks due to the inclement weather.
A revisit to this one now that it has been repaired. Clever construction - par for the course for a dickbev cache!
We had a close look at the dip which was interesting, although a snakeskin hanging from the ceiling gave us a fright for a second!

Just a few more caches for the day for NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and I today. Pulling up here, over the fence looked really interesting, and we would have loved to have been able to wander around and really investigate, but this wasn't going to happen. Anyway we did find ourselves a cache on this side of the fence instead, another cleverly constructed container by dickbev.
And not too far from the cache but inside inside the fenceline here there was quite a cool tree that caught our attention too.
Thanks for the cache dickbev.

I head up to Maleny regularly for work. And each trip I like to find a cache or three.
I parked the van, read the information board and made the short walk to the cache. I do like a little history lesson.
A quick find and a great container. [^]
