R.I.P, Construction is inconsistent and has now permanently dis-accessed the cache.
Can this get a check after the construction has finished? It has had lots of DNF's.
The stairs have been removed after a good look around the station still couldn't find it.️
#1843 Found on a morning’s walk with Rieka around Annandale and Rozelle. Thanks to the previous log as Rieka jumped the fence and found the prize. TFTC
The fences are up again. I jumped over the railing of the stairs halfway down and found myself on the right level. Cache in good order, though the tin has some rust holes, but it's in a good, safe spot. TFTC
Nice hide! Found this one on the way home from a light rail trip into Darling Harbour - want to be sure we bag it before the construction/ destruction work resumes and wrecks this lovely little park. TFTC.
I believe most of the construction fencing has been cleared. Apologies for the delays and if any construction work continues please feel free to contact me.

Well, I did read the cache page and saw it was disabled, but I'd planned a short walk in the area and had 10 minutes to wait for the next train.
If the cache is hidden on the stairwell, then it is accessible. However, I just couldn't find it if it was hiding there. The hint seems, to me, to suggest that, but I can't say for certain...

Construction work has fenced off access to the cache. Disabling till further notice.
I couldn't find this and was reluctant because of the construction fence.
Back in Aus for a bit of geo fun... Oh, and some work I suppose.
Thanks for all the fun!

Our first cache on a leisurely sunday afternoon walk Had to hop the fence for this one. TFTC
Had to squeeze past the Harris fencing to get this one. Wasn't where we thought it would be, thanks for the cache.
After a meeting in the city, went home via Glebe to pick up a few smileys. The hint narrowed down the options and a geotlail led me to the larger cache than I was picturing. TFTC!
When you see the structure you see on approach you have in your mind that it’s going to be a certain type of hide. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn’t what I thought it would be. The log book is ever so mildly damp but still in good nick. The tiny piece of bush area here (even if it’s regenerated) is a pleasant contrast between the crazy pace of the cars on the road nearby. Thanks Foundd for placing this cache.
Had no idea where it was. Then a leprechaun popped out of nowhere and led us to the gold.
One of those caches that felt so good to find. Approached from the previous troll cache and I knew that I'd have my royal cut out for me on this one. Should have seen the glances I copped from commuters as I scrabbled around. Got a good piccy from my useless vantage point though. Nevertheless, never give up till CIH! In a last ditch effort, I made the find. Very nice hide , CO. Dropped the Express Geocoin that I found at 'Barangaroo Ammo Dump' cache for other troll-lovers to find . S&RL. TFTC

We parked on View Street and took the unnecessary hill climb route to GZ. Gave us a nice outlook over the area and a bit of unplanned but useful exercise. Nice hide! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found it (after spying what was almost certainly NOT the cache) and after some reaching around, we had cache in hand. The in-cache guardian was a nice touch (but I am still of the opinion that guardians of such a sort have no place in areas that are as likely to be home to actual, living cache guardians). Cache signed and returned. Thanks for the hide! Onwards to lunch!
Found during a wonderful romp from Glebe to Rozelle Bay with Foreignnebula and James!

AUSHAZ I found your cache Roᘔelle Bay Troll on 2/12/18, 4:03 pm. This is my find 2196 and find # 17 today. A lot of hiding spots but after a short search had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Since November 5th I study Englisch at ILSC for 1 month. After the school I walked around and was searching some caches. Here I found the box after some search on a intermediate level
Thanks for the cache from Bonn, Germany

It took a searching in a couple of places but i found the cache after only a little while.
I’ve taken the tram past Rozelle station many times before but never stopped and got out there. The gardens are a lovely spot to stop and sit for a while.
Thanks.

OCW the Bebes around Annandale today. This was a quick find as we walked by on our way to the light rail station. Tftc
Dropped of my daughter at UTS and decided to leave the car and started walking, first the immediate area, then I wandered off to black wattle bay, followed the water for a bit and returned to Ultimo via Glebe. Although the weather wasn't that great it made for good caching. Enjoyed all the little alleys and shortcuts i could take by being on foot and already decided to go the same way next time!

Got off light rail but a muggle sitting opposite put me off. Went to see a real troll then returned. After a PAF I spotted this not where and what I expected it to be. Good hide there! TFTC
My second attempt here. I followed all the wrong 'clues' this time too, but finally got there. Thank you AUSHAZ.
If there is an enjoyable troll then this one is it. Had the pleasure of a no muggles to be seen search. A quick smiley before work, thanks AUSHAZ
After having found some caches in Bicentennial Park, we walked over to this one. Crossed the railway line and went down the steps, before turning our attention to possible hiding places. After a few minutes Helga came up with the goods while Hagar had been searching a bit higher up.
A curiously named cache. Curious because the Garmin wants nothing of those fancy characters and just calls it OEEY. I hadn't used the light rail before today. Another caching-derived new experience. Found the interesting container and signed as the first finder this month. Thanks AUSHAZ.
After a busy morning I felt like an afternoon stroll so I made my way to Rozelle Bay light rail station and walked back along the Glebe waterfront picking up a few caches along the way.
This was the first, found after waiting out a muggle sitting on the nearby bench.
Good one, thanks AUSHAZ.

Cool cache, the trail really helped them just a bit more climbing and there! The cache

Fortunately for the coach and I, this was one of our first for the day. I'm not sure we would have had the stamina to look as long as we did if this came up later in the afternoon.
We made a bit of a mess of this one, but managed to spot something matching the box description from one final scan of where we suspected.
Thanks for this one. This used to be my local tram stop when I lived in Annandale.

Urgh! Talk about making hard work of a cache. Jomingara came up with the cache in the most obvious of locations after we'd checked every other place first!
nice quick easy cache on a walk out today. Surprised as there were next to no muggles around even right after a light rail stopped by. TFTC
Luckily for us we didn't have many muggles to contend with tonight. Made a fairly quick find. Ttfc
Today we headed over to Lilyfield, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.60 per head capped Opal Card fares, to walk over the ANZAC Bridge and onto the Pyrmont peninsula and collect some caches along the way. Utilised Bus/Train/Tram on the way over, and Tram/Train/Ferry/Bus on the way back home. This was the 2nd of 5 finds for the day.
After finding "Brenan Street Troll @ Annandale" we walked along Railway Parade, and then along the pedestrian pathway, until we arrived at this one. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. This one was very nicely hidden and the container was quite good also. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
TFTC AUSHAZ, and it's good to see all of your caches are back in action again.

Found this morning number 4 on my day off for public servant picnic day. Traffic in the area was light due to the Christmas break so prefect opportunity to do some suburban caching. Thanks to all the cache owners who placed and maintain the caches I found today. I had a great day missing none and finding 21.
Got warned by a local saying that there were red belly black snakes in the area. So gave this one a miss
26/11/17. 12:51 PM. Cache #5495.
3rd of 7 today - Birchgrove, Rozelle, Annandale, Forest Lodge, Glebe & Earlwood.
Another hot day, this time I was up for a run through the Inner West. I came here after getting "John Oxley Cache", pleased that Lilyfield Rd made getting here from that cache easier than I thought things were going to be.
Parked near the northern end of Federal Park and at first that was where I thought GZ was, before noticing that it wanted me off to the east and across The Crescent to the stairs just below Rozelle Bay light rail station. I checked the hint... kinda worked out what that meant, but on trying a few places and being empty handed I thought it looked more like a needle in a haystack.
A call to a PAF and then I realised that I had been on the right track, just not quite at the right level. Once I headed to the right spot and made an easy find, I realised that the container was the same as at my previous cache. SL, replaced it and then off to "Tram Sheds Harold Park". TFTC.

Sneaky hide. The camo stumped us for a while before the cache revealed itself. thanks!

My goal for caching in 2017 was to have five finds per calendar day - representing one find per year in which I have cached. Looking at stats for Australia, calendar loops aren't something a lot of cachers have accomplished. Surprisingly, just eight finds on each calendar day get you in the top 10 - and my five are good for top 15 (see screenshot).
Today is the final day on which I need a find (yes just the one) in order to meet that goal. Of course I want more than one find today, but it's getting harder to make more than one or two finds in a small area within 40 kilometres of home... Tonight I'm going to the Sydney FC match with Geoson #2, so finds closer to the ground would be nice.
Then I noticed that the recent hides near Blackwattle Bay would be perfect. So made my way there and took a walk around the water's edge.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
With this find my goal is reached. HUZZAH!
Parked nearby and made my way to GZ.
Initially not sure where I should be, but between regular muggle walk bys (and overs) finally worked it out and spotted the likely hide.
Made the grab and took a short distance to complete signing duties and then back for the replace.
Good start.

After a long lunch I needed a cave close to home......just two tram stops to this one.
I dawdled to allow the muggles to move away from GZ.
Plenty of hiding places here but thankfully it didn’t take too long to spot the correct one.
I didn’t see the TB here though

After finding Balmain History I came over here.
Parking was difficult but I eventually managed somewhere not far away and as I walked towards the light rail station I noticed the Annandale Toy Exchange on one of the footpath areas. Great idea and everything looked in very good condition.
Now this could have been tricky but I was lucky and went straight to the right area and made a quick find. Sometimes the caching gods are on your side!
I had particularly wanted to make this find today as it would have been my mother's birthday and this find makes my cache tally 2222. Now my birthday is 22-2 and Mum and I were a great pair, 2, so 2222 is our number. Very satisfied to have achieved this one for Mum today and in Rozelle for my dear friend who lived nearby and passed away with a rare blood cancer.

Awesome visiting the light rail tracks although they remained empty for the duration my visit. Great cache though, concealed by a hiding place I hadn't expected. TFTC AUSHAZ!
Found in the daylight what I could not find in the dark a few nights ago. Well hidden. TFTC
New caches in my area of Annandale are popping up like mosquitoes these days. This one appeared on the radar last week, and so I took myself down to the light rail station on Friday for a look around. The only success I had was to contribute to the disturbance of the grass and bushes close to GZ.
Today I went again, this time with Ms Atalanta and I was a bit more careful with the herbage - although it was in even greater disarray than it was on Friday.
Anyway, after casting the search a little wider, I was able to locate the cache and what a well hidden one it was too. Worth a favourite; thanks Aushaz!

I was late to see the notification. Scampered once I saw the email. Got to GZ to see suspicious activity. It had not been found though.
Bella at waggy and I search high and low for what felt like ages. Then the call went out "found it". What a relief. Dropped another TB in. There was another in there, but I'd only divested myself if it recently, so I left it there.
Yay, FTF (a joint FTF at that too).
