Haha turn this into a smiley cant believe we missed it before! Log is wet though so made signing a little hard TFTC
We've tried this one before still no luck today, we feel like it's right in front of our noses we will be back
Greetings from BrisbAne Australia. We are on a 2 week holiday around the south island and today we headed from TeAnua to Invercargill picking up just a few smileys along the way. We had a great place to park right near GZ but it did take awhile to find this cache as it had become a bit buried. The log book was absolutely sodden so i added a new one and put the old one hanging nearby to dry out. Thanks Tuitigger for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Found within our famous trip around New Zealand. Thanks for nice cache ....................................................................... TB Koumesovo geopivo DDEV7M
Almost the end of our South Island adventure - not much time today - well maybe for just a few caches on the way. T4tc
Great find had lots of fun, surprised of how fast we actually found it easy find for beginners like me lolTFTC
Up to Lumsden for the night, then back to ChCh tomorrow. Get some in before I go, and hopefully ahead of the rain... See how that pans out. Nice and easy find, but as previous logs state, log is soaked, and it ain't getting any dryer..... Cheers!
A nice quick find today after failing a while back. Log is pretty soggy. Thanks for placing your cache. Occaisionally signed MK+KR on some of the caches today, and apologies for the generic logs.Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Finally an opportunity to reduce our solved puzzle list and pick up trades as we went. The rain didn't dampen our spirits and a good day caching was had. TFTC
Out and about grabbing some caches between showers.

Was a quick and easy find for KellanJS who was happy to find the cache that Dad had missed previously. TFTC
Down for a couple of days of work in Invercargill. Tonight dinner with parents in Winton and a slight diversion on the way back to my accommodation in Invercargill. A quick park and grab. Thanks for the cache.
After heading up from Invercargill we stopped to grab this cache. All good here. TFTC Tuitigger
A last find in our way out of Winton on a lovely day. Nice town. Cache condition is all good. Thanks for the placement.
It's been over four and a half years since I logged a dnf for this log. Don't know how I missed it. Nice too remove a blue face. Not enough to make up for the several new ones that appeared by the end of the day.
Nice little afternoon adventure for me! Luckily there was no one training at the time as I attempted to approach the cache from the wrong side... now that would have given them something to laugh about! TFTC!!
Great cache - great day to be out - many thanks
Thanks while on holiday

Day #5 of my Summer Holiday and after 4 days exploring around the Catlins it's time to head to Te Anau for New Years. Nice quick find here TFTC
#10,333. I am down in Southland and Otago for a week on a mixture of work and holiday. The trip got delayed by a few hours by airport woes in Wellington. Finally I arrived in Invercargill and picked up the rental car. Thankfully its long evenings down here so managed to fit in four and half hours of caching before sunset. After doing the nearby CANZ cache I headed to Winton to pick up some of the solved puzzles in the geoart.
Now leaving Winton and on my way back to Invercargill. The sun has set and the night is settling in. There were cars parked here and people at the buildings nearby. I snuck in under fading light and soon located the cache. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Tuitigger for hiding it here. Time now to head back to the motel.

#18941. On our "must do" list for today (another missing minute ticked off). Quick find. TFTC.
Today, StreetWalkerNZ and I are heading north to Winton, to find some caches in the big W. It was an extremely windy day, and after a wet and thundery start to the day, the rain held off which was a bonus.
This was a missing minute from our 46 degrees finds, so we were keen to make the find and so stopped by en route back to Invercargill. TFTC.

Quick snag and tag here on our way to Winton. Cheers.
Thursday 5 November. Wintons wherigo is on the radar today also visited Foresthill. Time to go exploring Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Day 15 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
(My apologies for the delayed logging but I'm still in catch-up mode)
Seeing as I can't be in America right now, I'm touring around the South Island instead. During my time here I am aiming to find as many of the TMGT caches as I can (preferably all 41) and also as many Virtuals, Earthcaches and Letterbox Hybrids as possible, plus any Trads or others that will fill a hole in my D/T grid, my Jasmer grid, or else the last 3 remaining Hidden Dates on that grid.
I haven't been this far south since my very first holiday to NZ back in 1988, so this part of my tour is a chance to pay Southland a long overdue visit. And of course this is my first time here as a geocacher, so plenty of scope to find caches galore! Today's plan was to spend the morning in and around Invercargill before making my way over towards Monkey Island and then meandering my way up to hopefully get to Queenstown by nightfall. Having had a bit of damp weather over the last day or so, it was good to get the sun back today.
There was no other vehicles around as I pulled off the highway, so I was able to walk over to GZ and conduct my search without interruption. No problems finding this cache and there were no issues with the cache or the log, so I was able to complete the usual caching administration before the whole lot was replaced exactly as found.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Had a great drive around Central Otago and Southland today, a wee bit of rainat the start, then a hot day many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
Stopped for a look but as others have said nothing at GZ. Can the CO please check it is still there as last found in ten months ago.
Hi, we never found this one. Thought it would be a fun thing to do on the way to our friends. It's probably stolen... DNF
Made this one a lot harder than it should have been. Too intent at following the GPS than checking out the obvious. TFTC
Today was going to be one of those days when the plan goes out the window as I was held up longer than expected in Invercargill and the weather was a bit hit and miss. So the new plan was just to stop at what looked like park and grabs when it wasn't raining because I had an ETA in Hawea later this afternoon. No rain right here so this looked a good target - and it was till I tried to get the log out. It was completely stuck so I had to take it back to the car where the tweezers (which I hardly ever need) did the trick. TFTC # 12,519
We did it ! That was a hard one! Some guy thought we were pissing in the trees
After a run of misses with finding caches in the last week, we didn't fancy our chances here today, especially since we was running out of time as well but after a few minutes looking, we spotted this sneaky wee hide. TFTC [^]
Quickly found with some help from Mrs Hazzer after an event at the rotunda in Winton . Bueatiful Southland day for some caches @ was tempted to spend the rest of the afternoon looking but the lawns beckoned
C@chetr@acker had looked before with no luck. Traveling back from Queenstown we stopped to inspect. Read some logs to find something useful and spotted the little thing where it most likely was. Tftc
Thanks Tuitigger....needed all my laser eye correction to find this little sucker...a good but devious hide
This was indeed a very sneaky hide. I paced up and down and was about to give up when MacWatts eagle eyes spotted it. The plus was the mushrooms around which will be great for dinner. Thanks for the cache Tuitigger
