We tried a lot but couldn't find it. I think the place it was hidden was a big painting but now its replaced by a new photo board.
Such a beautiful winters day and Back in area today and happy to replace DNF with a smile TFTC
Cache still here. It was covered by cobwebs so have moved to a new position in the same spot
Photo from previous finder and other comments confirmed our suspicions of location but in the end we were just another disappointed geofamily when there was no cache to be found
No luck today even PAF to the most recent finder who confirmed we were in the right spot. Alas no cache.thanks
Could the CO come and do a check as believe this is no longer her. PAF confirmed we were where we needed to be but nothing
With enough devices I got the coordinates and had a lovely walk for an instant find.

Found this one with geoluky2100 and my geomum. At GZ I was afraid of getting bitten by a spider so I used on of my TOTT (Tools of the Trade) (my Telescopic Inspection Mirror Tool) and spotted it. TFTC TNLNSL

Four of us teamed up to find this... my 2nd ever mob cache. We stood around for a while only to come to the conclusion that the link was broken but Brew was quick to let the CO know of the problem and while he didn't give away the location we were given enough information to go on the hunt. And what a wonderful GZ it is. Great company and a nice walk in the rain and a coffee afterwards made the dreary weather go away.
Fun with friends after the event to celebrate summer. Pity it was a cold, wet and windy day. A hiccup at the start, but with some CO guidance we made our way to GZ. A red herring (or white pointer?) had us looking in the wrong area until all was revealed. Nice stroll around the beach with good company. TFTC
Life's a beach, you party, swim, a shark bites you, and then you die. (We've all seen Jaws right!). TFTC Rodney1210
We are a two-person, three-device family. That's the good news. The bad news is that last week as we headed here to attempt this mobcache we realised that one of our devices was still sitting at home charging - Rats! Returned this week on a sunny Sunday morning. An early swim in Manly, breakfast in Dee Why and a fun geocache - perfect start to the day. We plopped ourselves down, hooked up all the devices. Well, actually hooked them up a few times as they kept dropping out since we weren't quick enough to get all three going at the same time. Then headed off to GZ. We weren't sure who to say hi to because we couldn't locate his name but we could locate the container. Yay! Watched the surf school nearby and really enjoyed being here. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
An outer to the beach and lunch had us doing a walk to help lunch go down so of course we lead the group to a cache and having plenty of devices fired up the mob page. Fortunately this one worked better than the last one we did and then continued our walk to GZ. Once there the GPSr was jumpy so we tried to asked Bruce but got no reply so moved on and made the find. TFTC.
Perfect weather for a beach party !
OCW Stueygow and a muggle .......tech worked perfectly at the posted coords and we headed for the party.
Plenty of muggles around today and whilst it was busy no one noticed my quick grab - hint really narrowed down the places to search.
Cracking location with a great view

Brunch and cache at Dee Why. Perfect weather and plan to team up with The Silvas for our first ever mob cache. Despite having our UK data turned off, we managed to hotspot ourselves into an Aussie iPhone. Technology worked like a dream. Fortified by an excellent brunch, we wandered over to the cache site. After a bit of a search around, senora Silva came up with it. Thanks.
Was well aware of the mobcache concept - but never had enough people to complete the one in Hyde Park. I was faced with this problem too when the cache was published - able to go out but had no guarantee of having enough people to make the find.
Roped Baby J Man in this morning and went for a morning walk along the beach. After collecting the coordinates made our way to GZ where there were a few muggles around (obviously all here for Rodney1210's party) . Positioned ourselves where we thought the cache would be but could not find. Expanded the search and found it just as we were about to call it a day.
SL - cache is in good condition
Thanks for the cache - great to see some more northern beaches caches.

Muggles: some uninterested folks in the area
Weather: Cloudy
Cache condition: New
When this first came out I straight away made contact with a couple cacher buddies, but none were available for the hunt today. Luckily the CO suggested another interested party, and we soon made contact and decided on the best time to attack this one.
We arrived at GZ a couple minutes apart, and headed to the published coords. Once there, we fired up the websites and logged in to the mob. Soon after we were given the location to the final GZ. OK only 500 or so meters we can walk this easily and headed off.
Once at the final GZ I started looking at the most obvious spots. After finding nothing, I extended the search area, but there still was nothing... Are we doing something wrong???
Resetting the caching apps on the phone provided the result we needed, as it gave a slightly different GZ this time, and soon after we had the little bugger in hand. I opened it up quickly and confirmed an empty logbook. YAY FTF!!!
Thanks coastblue for teaming up for this great hunt.

Joint [FTF] Friday 17/11/2017 @ 3:26pm with BoogieRogue
When I saw this one published I knew I had to drop everything and run! I was pleasantly surprised to hear that BoogieRogue was looking to team up to nab the FTF. With my bag packed and lttle Zed in tow, we made hasty tracks to meet BR at the posted coords.
I hate Sydney traffic. There were a few stand stills along the way and I thought I wasn’t going to make it but as luck would have it, the geocaching Gods were on my side and I managed to navigate my way easily enough through the lanes of cars and even scored a parking spot right near where I had to be!
Pleasure to meet you BoogieRogue! We walked to the posted coords 15m, 10m, 7m, 4m... 2m! Time to log onto the mobcache site and link up our devices. Bingo! With the coords revealed and entered into our phones, we headed off to GZ.
The cloud cover meant that our phones were a little off and we were slightly further away than we had to be. Resetting Cachly helped and soon we were pointed exactly to GZ for a fairly quick find and greeted with a blank log! Yesssss FTF!! And a favourite point for a beautiful backdrop, equally pleasant hide and the different type of cache.
We walked back to the car park and parted ways. Little Zed and I grabbed some food and had a play in the kids park before he had a couple of falls and started crying. Yep, it was time to call it a day and we made our way home.
TFTC! Glad to be FTF on this one and be apart of history with this being the first of it’s kind on the Northern Beaches!
