I don’t live in the area anymore and it takes a hour to get here. They have re grassed the area and the cache had been taken.
Have absolutely no idea on this one. As previous, the GPS has me standing in open grass near an open drain pipe. Funny, the map shows trees or shrubs in this spot, but not here now plus there’s been a bit of work done around. Or maybe it’s just me.
May need maintainence on it. Coordinates kept bouncing all over the place
Was there for 45 minutes, couldn’t find it. Plus the cops came up to us and thought we were suspicious ahaha
This one left me scratching my head. Co-ords seemed to put it in the middle of the grass? And despite looking in a few different spots nearby, we came up empty handed
spent a good 45 minutes, was well worth the chase. one of the best ones we've been on. once you know, you know
Did a maintenance check and it’s stil here just waiting for people to find it
19,316. Found with minniek during a meander around the Campbelltown region.
Headed up the Hume for a kid-free weekend caching in Sydney. And as minniek says we even lashed out for a motel instead of camping - Luxury ! This was the next find of the day. With my GZ 'in the middle' it meant a thorough search until the obvious was spotted - phew. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Blueandgolder !! Fav Point for the great history !

A nice weekend away with fitzy_1965 where we glamped (motel) rather than camped!
We cached around Campbelltown, Leumeah, Minto & Ingleburn before heading into our base at Ashfield then into Darling Harbour for dinner.
This one has such a wonderful history. GPS had us bouncing between a few places but fitzy ended up making the find.

Gave up once, went back to the car, had a think, went back and soon had the cache in hand. Nice camo. TFTC
Came to Campbeltown to pick up a few caches this afternoon and hoped for redemption on a few I had previous not found. Made reasonable quick progress and was lucky with quiet gz's despite the great weather. At last found this one almost 15 meters off!! in a spot no one would expect. The camo is good however.

Back to try again with fresh eyes and we found it within minutes! Kids very excited TFTC
Spent a hour here with the family on our first geohunt. No success today unfortunately.
Find number 4632
Found after attending an event at Mount Annan. This was our second visit and was spotted just as a hint came in.
Thanks Blueandgolder for placing this cache.

Second time lucky. With new information we returned on our way home from the GM. Ahh of course... Tftc
Very sneaky, after recent DNF came past here today on way home from Mega and armed with a bit of a nudge we were able to make the find TFTC
Even with help from a previous finder no luck. Not sure if it's still here or not the area is very bare.
After 30min of rustling through leaves finally found it. Good camouflage best cache yet
In town visiting family so went out looking for some caches
enjoyed the time wandering around

#6049 (3 of 6 today)
Was out early today - well maybe not that early by the time I got here - as I had quality time to spend with Geoson #3 this afternoon. So I was hoping I’d have time for 5 finds, or so. In the end, despite the dreaded DNF rearing its ugly head, I got six before needing to head home. Given I only had ten finds for the calendar day, I’ll take that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, this one had me flummoxed for a while.
Missed it on my first pass, and the spot my iPhone was pointing to an unlikely spot .
Convithat spot, recently mowed, was a red herring, I regrouped and checked a few other spots. Nope.
Now, if I was placing it, where would I put it? Gotcha!
I have seen this camo once before.
Completed signing duties and replaced, then back to *The Hademobile*.

Nice hide. Co-odds were a little off today. Found with Gundrills, KnightJR and Panda_Girl65. TFTC
Found with geo family. Great hide nice camo. It was my 2nd time looking for this one. TFTC.
Coords were in the middle of a grass field with nothing within 10 meters?? Did I miss the obvious?

Had to give up. Was queried by a muggle who asked me as I looked at the tree “know what sort of tree it is?” I said not sure and wandered off. He probably thought I was crazy lol
Decided to head out and do some caching maintenance. This one is still here but the area has been cleared out abit. All the undergrowth has gone and the cache is more exposed.
Found on a beautiful Sunday morning with BeetleBro
Great cache container.
Thanks for the cache. Peace out.

Had a good look around but to no avail for me.
Looks like there was a recent trimming of the trees, don't know if that had anything to do with my DNF.
I'll be back.

We returned today determined to find this cache. We had read the logs and had a better idea. However, after 20 minutes of looking, chook scratching and cursing under our breaths, we were giving up ... hang on, just one more look, them another look ... and scratch around.. there it is...tucked into a cosy little spot with a bit of natural camo. TFTC
Well we almost didnt find this one. Coords are a fair bit off and if not for a hint in a previous log I'm not sure if we would have found this. Was just about to call it quits when we finally spotted it. Cute camo.. we were expecting to see this type of thing, but not quite like what we found. Tftc and info.
Ok I will admit we had to goggle the meaning of the hint. Once we had that sorted out it was off to GZ to see if we could find the cache. Some decoys had us scratching our heads, and my Geo-wife was distracted by some playful rodents playing hide and seek within the old blocks behind the nearby wire fence. We then read some previous logs and soon found the sneaky hide, thanks.
Managed to park nice and close and after googling what I was looking for I soon found a really big one, then I found the right one.
Thanks
Thanks
I had heard stories about the mini dam in Campbelltown so was pleased that this cache took us to this location with some great history behind it. It did not seem obvious at first until I picked up something natural and rassilon256 made a comment about it. The next thing I put my hand on was the same thing we were discussing, but had a log book inside it! TFTC
We very much enjoyed discussing the history of this place as we circled the area and homed in for an easy find for llama_boy. A great spot for someone like myself, more used to the cinema end of Dumaresq Street.
Had to remove a spider to get to this one, but it was definitely worth it!!! Everything about this cache is ingenious. The co-ordinates are a couple of metres off. This is my new favourite cache.
Great way to start 2018.. co ords bounced around ,,finally I spotted in a spot that Clan of 6 had brushed over! Cute... oh and thongs aren't practical for treading around these weapons that fall off trees ..ouch..sharp!
Out New Years Day caching with our best buds Pitman Clan. Lots of muggles out walking co-ordinates were out. Not sure the locals living near cache were happy we were there. My son and friend wouldn't recommend going here in thongs that tree on the way to GZ drops some nasty sharp bits. TFTC
. Just changed geocache user name logged as CLAN of 6

Back for a second try .. success this time .. live these caches alway put a smile on my dile .. TFTC JET&GZ
Hrrrm. I think I got one of my calendar days wrong for this month! Whoops! But this day was definitely missing. An early morning walk with geodad in 30 degree heat. Today is gonna be hot! Found some walkways I never knew existed on the way to the cache and got a nice history lesson at GZ. A great cache. Thanks for placing this here
Last grab on the way home from a weekend visiting family. Quick find before the afternoon storm hit (though didn’t cool down the day any!). Co-ords bounced around heaps until I gave up and went with instinct. Only settling as I signed the log.
I used to live next to the scout hall and always thought the water works would make a good spot for a cache. Great little hide. TFTC.
I circled the scout hall for no good reason, as I eventually came back close to where I had parked the car to grab this one.
There are two good reasons to come here. You can find out about the Campbelltown Water Works which are new to me even though I worked around the corner for three years. You should have a read of the information on the board in the vicinity as well as the excellent info provided.
The other reason is the wonderful Hoop Pines which are the grandest of trees. They are so tall and were used to show where the homestead is located. If you talk a walk around the TAFE college you can see excellent examples scattered around Campbelltown. Beware of the cones which are enormous and known to cause injuries.
I went for the GPS wander with this one forcing me to admire the surroundings. Eventually it settled and spotted a likely place and there it was.
Thanks Blueandgolder

We finished our Christmas shopping and stopped for this one. We remember doing another one close by. Soon located the cache, signed and placed as found. TFTC
Took about ten mins to uncover this clever little cache. Great camo with a good hint. Take your watch off before you reach for it. The GPS was a bit dodge but the GZ was spot on. Tftc!
I needed a hint from a previous finder as my GPS wanted me ten metres away in the middle of the park. He sent me behind the fence or at least my hand!?!
