This geocache had to be archived as the park it was placed in has been converted to a carpark
This cache has been destroyed due to construction works. I will create a new cache at some stage.
Too many prickly plants to be in shorts. Kids weren’t finding it fun as kept getting spiked.
Even though the coordinates are bang on, I still had to rummage around for a while to find this one. I should have trusted the gps a bit more. Nice park, with bonus water fountains on a hot morning.
Great spot for a cache. Took a bit of searching but eventually cache was located. TFTC
Some surreptitious moves were employed to avoid muggles. Came to see Box Cottage, but it isn't open until the last Sunday.

Out with Sinornithosaurus picking up a few more caches tonight, trying to find new areas and interesting caches. We set out hoping to find 14 so that Sinornithosaurus could reach the 200 cache milestone but we managed 6 caches in total and had heaps of fun while doing it, thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches! Visited some trackables, #405
After searching for nearly 5 minutes and seeing that there was a previous DNF, I had my doubts but persistence is the key to anything and we soon had the cache in hand, neat little cache hidden away ) TFTC

We found this one fun to hunt down, and didn't have to much trouble considering we came at night.

Thanks for the find. Nice quick find while my daughter was playing in the play ground
Out to find some caches in this nice sunny weather I’m heading into the inner city suburbs today to meet up with some friends and I thought I’ll leave early and grab some caches along the way. Tftc.
Bowled this one over nice and quick.
Actually knocked it with my shoe.
Is that against the rules?
Thanks for the cache Pinnacle.

10:05am. Nice park, nice find . Retrieved the ORNON Boomerang Trackable, I'll find it a new home. TFTC
This GeoCache was really well hidden but wasn't too hard to find. Recommend it for a beginner and for family. Thanks for making this awesome GeoCach!!
On a spicy, windy night tonight like tonight I was expecting to have the park to myself. However, I think something was going on in the Pokémon Go community, as there were quite a few other people walking around glued to their phone! It took me way too long, as a previous finder said do t overthink it. But if you do overthink it like me, the satélite image helped a lot. Thanks for bringing a cache back into this great little park!
Found with geowife..on road trip from cairns and wandering around this beautiful suburb
Lovely quick cache while geo/muggle kid is distracted by the play equipment.
I'm a Gryphon!

We needed a cache today for our second round of 366 challenge and don't have many caches left close to home. As I was taking geo-pup for a groom this afternoon, I decided to try this cache about 5km from the groomer. When I arrived at GZ I thought I was going to be in for a long search as I only had my phone with me but happily the cache was found in the second place I looked. No-one playing bowls today

This was a quick "target of opportunity" whilst en route to the supermarket late this evening.
Under cover of darkness and with not a soul to be seen I commenced searching under discreet torchlight. Potentially "hide rich" locations like this are not a particular favourite of mine, unless they have accurate coords, but happily this was the case and I had the container in hand almost immediately with minimum fuss. (In fact I stepped over the container during my initial approach, as I overshot slightly and only saw it when I turned around.)
Signed the log, thanks for the cache, Pinnacle.

Out and about with Echidna44 to finish off this area from last week. Easy park short walk to an easy find. Kids were playing nearby on the equipment. What a lovely to come to. Thanks for bringing us here. Thanks for the cache Pinnacle
Out with xambo4u, we parked nearby and admired the area, then went to try our hands at bowls. Thanks Pinnacle

A quiet park today except for a few bowlers on the other side of the locked gate and in the distance. It was a quick find, and with my name in the log I wandered off for a little stroll.

This is my second day in a row travelling to Melbourne from Geelong to enjoy finding a few caches.
On the way up to Melbourne today I was with my great caching mates the suscoe's, we passed through some light rain but then the rest of the day was full sunshine.
While in the area today two new caches were published so a couple of FTF's was a complete surprize. This has only happen twice in my 14 years of caching, we were in Apollo Bay about to head for Geelong and a new cache was published only a few hundred metres ahead.
This was a quick find today and so far we have had no DNF's fingers crossed.
Thanks Pinnacle for this placement.

Probably shouldn’t have left this till late in the day. By the time I got here it was pretty dark and I had to get my torch out, or rather, use my torch app...It took longer than it should have but I found it eventually. Tftc!
Suscoe headed out for a day of caching fun in the inner south east of Melbourne with our great mate Bushfire.
Little did we know what this had had in store but a couple of FTF surprises greeted us during the day!
Always a bonus.
We enjoyed a delightful Autumn day with sunshine, a cool temperature, great cache locations and we learned a bit along the way about this area.
Thanks to Pinnacle for this hide, the bowlers were either just coming from or going to a trip but all we quiet at GZ.
Soon found and signed.
Well that was a big day out.
Time to head home we reckon.

There was some kind of walkathon going on in the back streets so I parked on the main road entrance and walked across. There were a couple of kids on the playground so I spent a while doing laps of the nearby dog park til they left.
Then there were only passing muggles to avoid as I searched briefly and found the container.
Thanks Pinnacle for the cache. Nice park.

I was on my way to somewhere else and I was passing close by to this one so I decided to stop for a look.
The trouble at this time of the day is there are so many muggles out walking around and because it is now dark, a torch is needed and that also creates a problem.
Eventually I was able to wait them all out and found a break in the traffic so I moved in quickly and made the find, the log was signed and I was quickly out of there.

Needing a cache to fill a spot on the Calendar I found myself suddenly craving ice cream. Jumping in the car with my daughter we headed over towards Dairybell stopping here on the way. There appeared to be a mini football match going on in the carpark. Not wanting my car to become a target I parked well away. I made my way to GZ with out drawing any attention to myself. The muggles continued there game while I made a quick find, signed the log and left as quick as I came.

Find #3284. Found @23:24
Combining some getting of steps with cache finding brought me here. The GPSr took me straight to a likely area, but what should have been a quick find I botched by over thinking it. After I'd faffed about for a bit, I returned to the designated coordinates and made the find.
I grabbed the trackable within, and then went for a roam around the neighbourhood to meet my daily steps quota before pumpkin time.
Took trackable, left nothing, signed log, and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache wastedyouth360

Decided to place excellent geocoin in my cache so it can continue on its journey, Best geocoin I have come across.

Recently most of my caching has been in the country, and while I've been doing other things, my 10km circle has somehow repopulated, so today my goal was to clean up again.
This was find #5 of 12 this afternoon, and there were unfortunately 4 DNFs.
A quick find here, all in good nick.

One last one before heading home and this was it. scratched my head for a minute or two before find the cache in a MOP.
Our GPSs were a little unstable and there seemed to be many places to look. There were also a few muggles at the nearby playground. However we soon had a reasonable location to search and quickly found the container. TFTC
Had to wait till the gardener moved away from the gate and some kids to move out of the playground.
Neat little park.

I needed to go to the South Eastern suburbs to visit a couple of cemeteries, so I grab a few caches on the way around.
Looks like lots of people are for Bowls around here!
Luckily I was out of their sight at GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.

After stepping over and ignoring it about twice each, we finally found it. Oops. Thanks for the quick diversion.
It was a beautiful day out today and there were muggles at the park because of it. We were as inconspicuous as we could manage although I am sure they didn't take any notice of us. Thanks for the cache and showing us this lovely park.

Some stealth required here. Forgot our pen & stamp. Thankfully there’s one in the cache.
Thankyou wastedyouth360 for placing this cache here for us to find.

With a nice cool New Year's morning the geodog and I decided to go for an extended walk and so we set off to tick this one off our list of local blips. A quick find to start the year. TFTC.
This is not too far form home for me and having found most others around the area it was good to come back to look for this recently placed cache. I had a short afternoon holiday break today to find three caches including this one and do some preparation work for another one in the area. A warm afternoon so pretty quiet around here though there were a few hardy souls playing bowls of course. I headed to GZ after parking nearby and was pleased to make a quick find here. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Pinnacle.
Watch out for the prickly bush. Soon found where I thought it might be after the compass was bouncing around. Thanks Pinnacle for the cache. I have played social barefoot bowls here a few times.
Visiting my wife's new school where she is teaching next year, we stopped by this one for a quick search. Thankfully, there were very people about, so we could search comfortably. Approaching GZ, I was thinking 'surely, not in there', but then something sensible appeared and the quick find was made without any treading on the bushes.
Thanks for the cache, Pinnacle.

I was early for a meeting this morning and such is the beauty of going to a new part of Melbourne - new caches. A quick find here with a few muggles near by. Grabbed the TB. Thanks to Pinnacle for placing this cache.
There was a lot of bowls going on next door but the cache side was deserted.
Good coords meant a quick find and I left a TB

We had a hankering for a few smilies and no school sport on! The Chief was looking in earnest following the Gps pointer while the geodog and I casually made the find. Left a geocoin.
Thanks for placing Anyone for bowls so we could find it. Cache was all good.
Thanks wastedyouth360 for the caching fun.

Before it got too hot today I headed out for a couple of caches and this was the second and last one. Since it was pretty hot already there were no muggles in the playground nearby so the search was easy.
I followed my GPS, bent down and there was the cache.
Thanks Pinnacle for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found this quite easily. Although there were a few muggles around pretended to be looking through the gate at the bowls club.
Yay for a FTF. email notification came through that a new cache had hit the ground running. OMG it's **500 metres** from Elphin digs!! A quick nod to one of the Elphinians and off we went into the heat. A quick WhatsApp to the other 2 Elphinians who were roaming the neighbourhood and then all 4 of us were homing in on this cache. Geomum spotted the cache in short order. Well done Pinnacle for your first ever cache. We are truly honoured. We hope its one of many more for us in the neighbourhood! (BTW we took the smurfy travel bug!)
STF with Tally Tiger and Zedaycee! Whoop! A new cache in the area to continue our streak!
Thanks for the new cache close to home. We were running out of caches here to continue our caching streak. Keep them coming.
Congratulations on youre first cache This is a lovely park. We took the geo dog with us for a nice walk. He got to meet a cute litte doggie. This cache was quick and easy.
