I’m trying to fill in some dates on my calendar so this one was today’s. A quick find but the logbook is soaked through. Luckily the clue was still readable and I popped a small piece of stone paper I had in there to sign on.
Thanks S_38
Thanks S_38

The track to this stage is still pretty good. Cache found ok but log a bit damp.
Returned safe as found.

Accompanied with Kangas11. Found your cache S_38, thank you so much for placing it.
Caching day from Pakenham/Gembrook/Belgrave with crank1. Easy to find but logbook is very damped wet. Thanks S_38 for bringing me here.
Found it! Note book is a bit wet but could still write in it, let the trek continue
We got a bit of a shock here as these appeared to be drive by's, but not to worry. We made the quick find here soon had the cache signed and returned.
Thanks S_38 for the placement here.

A nice quick find this morning. Hoping to make it to the other end of the trail. In good condition and clue noted.
Found as a small rabbit mad a dash out of the grass behind me nearly causing me to jump up the nearest tree
Today we found Ridin My Pony - Walk On on our travels. Hmm quite overgrown and it’s rather warm today. Time to be sensible & leave it for cooler day.
Thanks S_38 for being part of our geocaching fun.

My weekly day off, caching day, but not for a long while now, time to get back into it a bit. decided to head down this way to stretch my legs.
A quick find here but I'm not sure why caches are place right in front of a houses windows when it could easily be placed out of sight.
**Thanks for placing this cache S_38**

Continuing along, this was a gentle walk and a nice view of the hills was starting to emerge. It was a nice quick find which is always welcome.

Well this one had me going around in circles for a little bit but eventually spotted it... TFTC
Find #4620
An early morning caching run near to a spot where I have cached before. Got here just after 6.30am and there was ample daylight to work with. Concentrated on the Riding my Pony series and tried a few others nearby. This is lovely area to visit with the green grass and the rolling hills on a nice mild morning. I parked at the western end of this trail and after finding the first I headed on to this one. I spotted a target on approach and as the GPS counted down I was pleased to make a quick find and note the clue for the final. My second find of nine on a pleasant morning when I timed it right to avoid the showers that swept in a little later. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and this series S_38.

A nice easy find. The nearby cows were spooked by our presence and retreated to a safer distance. I guess they don't see too many people here.

With a notification of the final in this series coming through last night and with no ftf this morning I decided to head out. First I had to work my way through this series. I was making quick work with another quick find.

Well, what can I say other than I have been very very inactive that last couple of months couple that with some lack of logging from the past couple of geocaching days it equates to me not having done anything at all really....... but I digress. So today I woke up a little early to e sure that both the food and some caches could be found before I head off to work tonight. Today was a rather successful day with many finds. I do apologize for the generic log but am rather mentally fried after my third-year uni exams. Thx for the cache and the lovely day.
Out and about enjoying some sight seeing and finding some caches too. Thanks so much for highlighting this area that we may not have otherwise discovered.

After attending the 3am WWFM event in Officer and then spending a few hours at Lysterfield finding a night cache and now the day was just beginning so off I went in search of so more caches that I have not found, this was one of them.
It was a nice stroll at this point in time and I was thinking that I should of used my bike, at GZ for this one it didn't take long to find the cache and I was off to the next.

Found this one pretty quick in a perfect cache spot track was still an easy walk at this point
Logged as NicNax2. Enjoyed the weekend with WeRAmused. So far, so good. Track is fairly manageable and interesting. TFTC
Found as NicNax with MazzyMay. With MazzyMay unexpectedly visiting for the weekend we decided to focus on the ANZAC puzzles and this Pony series. Mazzy is not impressed with my farm animal impressions and won't play. [:o)] She says, she's not a horse!! Thanks for bringing us on this walk S_38.

Out today with Mrs Papi4506 & BoatieTim heading down Beacy way.
Decided to tackle this nice easy run of caches from the bottom up to save the knees.
As the title suggests, walking, walking.
Cheers S_38

We went out this morning for a few “drive by’s” with the boys and my absolutely NOT ‘Geo Wife’
She’s not into it at all but said sure I’ll come for a walk OOPS !
What a lovely walk though in an area I didn’t know existed.

Nice little hide along this great track - it’s a lovely afternoon for a walk. TFTC
We were enjoying the walk and the weather here now along this overgrown track. Spotted an old tractor rusting away in an old shed on the way. Soon found the cache and took down the clue. Not sure what they were for because there was no reference to a mystery cache in the description.

Was in the area tonight dropping off a trailer to a friends and took the long way home. Took me three hours longer than usual, oops! But didn’t get into too much trouble. Some great little spots in the area, love exploring this part of the burbs, it’s just great. TFTC
Enjoying the walk on the Horse trail. A lot of noises coming from the long grass either side of the track.
Cache found in good condition.
Thanks S_38

When the iPad said “close” I stopped and thought about where I’d hide a cache. After I ruled out that option I saw the cache out of the corner of my eye. Third in series found signed and returned to its hide hole. TFTC
On my way to this cache I was surprised to see a horse and rider coming down the track towards me. We spoke briefly and she said "enjoy your walk" I didn't know then what I was in for. This cache was a quick find. Thanks S_38
Continued up the trail for this one, easier find this time. On on... TFTC
The second of 3 for your set on the horse trail - a nice place for a stroll although the uneven terrain makes it more challenging (I've just had knee surgery) - so we took it slow on the uneven ground.
Out on another caching run. Out for 6 hours today for a total of 12 finds and 1 DNF.
Some interesting spots. However, 1 leech and 2 inch-ant bites, along with the requisite number of grass cuts, thorns and associated stick-bites made it a memorable experience once we hit the showers!

So excited to get out there after a short hiatus. I was told to pick this up while out there, collecting a possible FTF! which sadly went before we could get to it. It was still great to get out and catch a cache while I could! TFTC!
Had word that there was an ftf up for grab and with my trusty friend in crime BlazerTriaz we headed out to grab it. But we were beaten hunter, oh well next time
We just happened to be finishing up with some friends in Pakenham Upper when the new cache alerts started coming through. All seemed to be for Phillip Island, until the title "Riding My Pony" came through. I knew exactly where this one would be. The SatNav said that the quickest route was driving down Carne Rd, but I knew that this was the name of the horse track, and was not open to cars.
The Eastern, top end was closest to us, so we parked at the top of the trail on Huxtable road in less than 10 minutes from the time of release. That is when things started to 'get interesting'. The family started walking down the steep hill, and we walked thru a section were the grass was taller than our daughter and from that point on the girls slowly started getting left behind.
Then we came to the Blackberry and Scottish Thistle section. Gave the car keys to the oldest and sent him back to tell the girls to head back to the car. Myself and second son kept going. We soon came to a section that was clearer than the rest and I started running down the hill, until I noticed I wasn't running anymore, it was more like falling fast with my legs still under me. The muddy section at the bottom soon took care of that problem.
After more Blackberry and Scottish Thistles we came to the main, and more importantly clear trail at the bottom, then it was just a easy jog and search for the cache. Glad we got to sign the log first, after that bush bash. It might have bothered me if someone had driven to the other end, and just pipped us at the post. This trail used to be a great walking and riding track back in 'the good old days'.
Now to walk back up that hill!!!
Certainly wouldn't say that this cache a T1.5 / D1.5 the way we went. But that just makes it another adventure I will remember, especially for our 50th FTF.
Thanks for the cache S_38
