I think I know where it's hidden, but my search was a bit hampered by onlookers, as a concrete pour was in progress and there were workmen and onlookers all around me. I'll need to come back, yet again!
Sorry the photo isn't great, but I had to take it with my GPS.
Thanks anyway CTheExplorer

Whoiops, I see now that my GPS wasn't holding the latest data, and that this has been archived.
Oh well, you got an extra photo CTheExplorer

3 containers, all reasonably well hidden, have gone missing in very short spaces of time. My conclusion is that someone nearby does not want these there.
It's ok. I have a new and awesome one coming soon to a nearby (but no doubt better) location.

Found in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au whilst on the planetary souvenir pursuit. This cache was trying to hide from us as it has from others, but we gad G with us who spotted it in the end! How on earth did we miss something so large? TFTC
Out for an afternoon of caching with quiet1_au and lochb, this was next for the day. It was a lovely day for caching and we enjoyed making our way to Pluto lol although all the TB dropping and retrieving so that q could take them overseas, almost did my head in!!!
Yep we can confirm it is there! We had just found another cache that had had quite a few dnf’s and now this one... we are on a roll!!! We all had a bit of a look but it was GMelb that came up with the goods... once you see it, you can’t unsee it lol
TFTC and fun CTheExplorer - GJMMelb

A trickier than expected cache hide, lochb and I were on the scene first (later joined by G&J of GJMMelb) and started our search, glad that there seemed to be no muggles about. We thought we had a good look everywhere, but I had decided (wrongly) that it wouldn't be on that side and it seemed lochb did something similar so we missed it. G' comes along and after a quick search pulls out the cache - no!!! it's not possible we didn't see that!! Trackable dipping and shuffling while G' logged our visit and we were off again for one last cache. TFTC
Dropped tbs that were picked up straight away, yes we found it, full log to follow
Disappointing hunt amongst the snails ,slugs and a large weed that seemed to be the target of the Gz. Like SirJ-O night time would be a better time under the stars and planets to pick up some points since the cache had reappeared. And checked today. But after 15 mins , the beer bottle and a muggle parking close to have to dodge I ended the search. Thanks Ctheexplorer for the hunt. Clue ? Difficulty rating or I’m blind in the dark with torch.
DNF @23:08
I agree that this location is cursed. This is not the first time that I've been here looking for this cache (and the previous incarnation)...
The first time, (the first incarnation) was missing in action and subsequently archived.
The second time, there was too much muggle activity to even think about stopping for a look.
The third time, I searched for ages with no luck only to find that it was disabled (as missing) between the time I updated my GPSr and arrived on scene (about an hour)
The fourth time (at night), a car pulled up next to where I wanted to be as I was on approach, and I had to bail.
The fifth time (at night - tonight), I searched the area and couldn't find the cache. I found an embedded beer bottle (that I liberated from it's prison) and a whole lotta bugs, but no cache.
The other possibility is that I'm just bad at this game, I seem to be having many more DNFs of late.
Thanks anyway CTheExplorer

Back in action in yet another form.
Still easy to find if you are looking for something, but I think it should blend into it's surroundings a bit more.
Enjoy.

Ive finally decided on a replacement that should be discreet enough to not disappear.
I expect to place it in the next few days..

With my buddy Fleabag- at work this week I wasn't super motivated to do caching by myself but it was such a nice day I decided to brave the world and go out by myself.
I parked right nearby and with no works going on (see photo) the search was easy and moments later eye spied the scary hide. This one should last a lot longer than version one and I think it's cooler as well. A favourite from me for the great decoration.
Thanks CTheExplorer for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Today we found Eye Spy 2 on our travels.
The Chief threw the cache guardian on the windscreen, I think he was trying to give me a heart attack! Not much happening on the building site today, feel a bit sorry for the little house next door who are probably destined to lose all the sun in their yard and all the character in their street.
Thanks CTheExplorer for being part of our geocaching fun.

Sigh...I think this location is cursed.
It's definitely not there.
I'm really not sure if I'll make another or not (it certainly wasn't something you pickup at the shops).
Disabled while I decide what to do.

After having cleared out my 10km home circle, I've been a bit distracted lately and a few recent publishings mean that I have to turn my attention to clearing it out again. I had some time today, so out I went.
Well I got the FTF here back in June, so I was feeling pretty confident about getting a quick find here, but it didn't work out the way.
So it's a bit different eh, so I looked a bit harder, and a bit wider, but didn't turn up anything.
I'll have to put a watch on it and see what happens, Fairly appropriate cache to put a watch I'd reckon.
Thanks anyway CTheExplorer

Let me start by stating that this is a bit of a generic and frankly overdue log. Whilst I found your cache some time ago I haven’t had the energy to come up with even a generic log until a couple of days ago (23.12.2017) because of a very difficult family situation which resolved itself on the 18.12.
I remember pulling up to this location and thinking what the...? How do you hide a cache here? Sure enough, the hint worked a treat and I certainly wasn't expecting that! Duties done I was free to observe any progress on the building site next door. Apart from some rebar placed in what looked to be significant spots no other progress had been made since the last logged observation.
Thanks for putting in the effort CTheExplorer, especially as this one is semi-local for me

I had found the previous cache near here so when this one was listed I knew broadly where to head. I had some time today and after a find further south I was able to take a small diversion as I headed home. Parked outside the locked gate of the construction site and headed to where the GPS was pointing. Was uncertain at first but quickly spotted something that warranted a little more investigation. As with a previous finder I found my name in the log book already but signed with today's date for completeness. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache CTheExplorer.
Hi fellow cachers.
A little context that might help...
Yes, this is version 2 of Eye Spy. The first was put in hold both because building was delayed and because it's container and hidey hole weren't that great ( found it in plain view under a tree 2 weeks in).
Not knowing better at the time, I archived it instead of disabling it. By the time building began, we could no longer being v1 back to life.
So v2 while is the same, its also slightly different. And in my opinion, somewhat improved.
I hope you enjoy it whether or not you ever saw the original.
Thanks for finding

Got the alert and off we went! A new cache and an FTF to claim!
Our cache of the day is an FTF!!! Yay! A simple little find that had us a little perplexed upon finding the log had already been signed way back in June!!! But a little investigation revealed that it was an old log repurposed for a new cache!

Heading out for free ice cream and a daily cache when this one came out. Immediate change of direction. Nothing waits for an FTF!
