GZ has changed a lot since the original placement and I have decided not to replace the cache but to archive it
No luck for us today and no sign of a rock. Wondering if this one might be gone.
Got the bike out for these ones - what a great trail. TFTC
No problems here - really enjoying the ride

The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
Took the kids out for a bike ride along the river path and coaxed them into it with the promise of some geocaching along the way.

Have been meaning to bicycle this way again for a long time, since I saw the track grow longer and gain a bridge. Apparently more than one bridge. Pleased to discover that there were also several Geocaches to be searched for. Quite high success rate too TFTC.
#555. I had four caches to find along this part of the river and the opportunity to resolve that today. Headed out early, just as well because it got warm quickly. Not many other walkers or even cyclists around this morning.
Smiled when I got close and saw the cache name in full view. Thanks to NZFlossy for the replacement. Can the CO please update the description to match.
TFTH.

Decided to get the bike out and head over to do some bike trails and few other caches in the northern area. The weather was beautiful and I loved the nice path and great bridges. Thanks to the COs for some great cache placements. This cache has gone but I did have a replacement in my bag and as this trail is so worthy of a cache I have replaced with a blue bison Look for the rock Have messaged the CO TFTC
Logging as found with permission of the CO after finding only part of the previous cache
Logging as I teamed up with Merlot58, only to find a lid. This cache has since been replaced. tftc
GZ has been recently cleared with a weed eater and after searching all corners we found the lid of the cache down the hill. We tried to find the rest of it but unfortunately that seems to have been buried in the detritus. CO needs to replace.
The grass is growing quickly, so I had to dig in to find this one. This was as far as I walked this morning, so I turned back from this point and headed for the van. TFTC.
I suggested to Mrs Beconaze that we do the walk someday from Ngaruwahia to Hamilton. Turned out to be today! So in our thermals and sneakers we set out. This one was a nice quick spot from me. Its weird, somehow on this trip we've designated Mr Beconaze to be the official signer. Nobody asked him though... Hope hes happy doing it!
A day off work today so my hubbie and I went biking on this walkway north of Hamilton up to Ngaruawahia and back. Great sunny day for it although it's still quite cool - but can't complain about this weather for June! Great natural cover here, TFTC
With a break in the weather the only thing I really had to do today was geocache. I had no plans so enlisted TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase to search for a worthy adventure. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point. A crazy day but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends!
This neat little trad was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward hint. Cheers iammrwalker, TFTC

11.25am - Good hint but cache slightly damp as trucks raced past on road opposite side of fence. SLTFTC
The weather was looking perfect for a caching trip, so myself, Philip.Perry and Squirrel.Nutcase joined forces and decided to hit the Waikato area to try clear Squirrels map.
The adventure continued along this path. It was a long way back to the car now. Wheres my bike!

With Philip.Perry and TNXPro...
A decision was made to visit Hamilton with the purpose of clearing a handful of caches on my 'To Do' list which includes Cambridge... There was no reason to turn back now, so we carried on down the path at pace. Another success... TFTC.

We parked at Horotiu Bridge today and walked to the new Te Awa Bridge and back, about 5kms, missed on first look, but another pair of eyes soon located it, log is a little damp but still usable, tftc.
Easy find while tramping with our group From Horotutu and Ngarwhaia.
Not a good day for geocaching on a popular walk / cycleway
lots of muggles around.
No log in this cache only a marble and could not sign.

Out enjoying an awesome bike ride along this river trail. Nice and easy find thx
Thought we would get to bridge but kids are hot and tired now...time to head back. Good hide. Tftc
Nice stroll to this point. Cleaning up unfound caches. Nice one thanks. Getting back to the spyder before it heats up. Although this cloud cover is nice.tftc
Walked along to here from Horotiu Bridge, nice day for a walk before the heat of the day came along. TFTC which was in good condition.
Ran past on the way out, so grabbed it on way back to car. Another quick cache - a great cache of caches for families.
Out for a bike ride with Tinytree on this newly completed section of bike trail. We rode from Meadow View Lane to Ngaruawahia Golf course and then turned around and picked up all the caches on the way back. This is a beautiful ride and we really appreciated the effort that has gone into creating it and look forward to doing other sections some day.
Mr B looked in the wrong place but Mrs B picked the right one first time. TFTC.

Nice day great trail along the river side, heaps of people walking and rideing there bike
Last cache for the day, quickly found and a fast paced walk all the way back past the golf course to where we had parked
3655 Enjoying the walk along this previously unknown, to me, walkway. A lovely afternoon in the sun. Spotted the GZ from some distance but are still none the wiser as to the meaning of the cache title. I didn't read the description fully so I ventured more off track than I needed. But cache was found and signed. Eventually as my pen did not want to write properly. Thank you for the placement.
After doing some chores around the house Mrs Boges gave her blessing for me to go caching. Parked at the Horotiu bridge and rode from there.
found the blackberry also tftc

We had to wait for some muggle trucks to drive past before making the find.
+ a glass pebble, - nothing.

It's been a long time since I've been able to head out a find a few caches due to work and family commitments so finally managed to get a few hours to myself and head out and take a chunk out of the new caches list in and around Hamilton, as it was getting rather large.
Wasn't really counting on a 5km walk this afternoon in this heat, but a few caches and especially a multi proved to be great motivation. Parked up at Horotiu bridge and headed to the multi first, before finding the rest of the caches on the way back to the car. Looking forward to returning with the family and the bikes and exploring further up. Thanks for the hides.
I wonder what this means?? S35W

Went for a bit of a walk this morning and thought that collecting the few new caches along here was only reasonable.
Mrs Dragon Dropped me out at Ngaruawahia and it was a pleasant walk back home in under 3 hours, best parts being collecting a few caches and the fact that bugger all others were out here along the trail apart from a few cyclists.
this is such a nice journey along here and I always enjoy the walk.
Really was expecting others to get these ones so then its always a nice sight that empty logbook.
Thanks for the {FTF}, and the chance to increase my lowly total of ftf's.
thanks for the cache thanks for the placement.
