I was on my way to Windsor today with time to burn, so I pulled out the geo-map to see how I could fill in a bit of time enroute.
This one took a couple of minutes to find because I was looking for a magnetic hide. Once I realised from past logs, though, that it wasn't, I had the cache in hand in no time flat. Thanks for the hide ozuk.

Paper was sodden wet. Tried hard to sign but other signatures all washed off. Needs waterproofing.
TFTC log was wet so replaced with new dry log & placed container upside down hoping to keep water out.
Wanted to get one more cache for the current souvenir going on and this one was quite close and nearby and should be nice and easy so we attempted this cache. Drove up to it, walked up and found it immediately but realised I didn’t have a pen so quickly shot home and got one, signed the log. The log is dried out now but it is still flimsy so be careful when signing it. The cache was refusing to stick to metal and took a good minute or so to get it to but it’s still weakly holding on. Might drop. TFTC!

OCW the Bebes. Another quick park and grab and we had to be stealthy as there were a couple of firies knocking about. Tftc
A nice easy find. Log was a bit damp, but I found a spot to sign without tearing it, TFTC.

This one sprang up in our "Mystery" filters so off we went for it. Turned out to be a nice easy one. The log is a congealed mess and couldn't be signed, so we took a photo. TNLN TFTC.

Found with the phlApp and a magician in our hunt for caches in the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache ozuk.
Out and about with teamMerlin & JJCC. We came looking for this cache on the way to the event. Parked nearby and walked towards GZ. I thought caching in the dark would be fun but caching in the dark with rain. But it took a while to find to spot the cache with the torch so got wetter than I wanted to.
With cache in hand we signed the log in as best we could and replaced as found. The log is wet and either needs some time to dry out or to be replaced. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache ozuk

Out with phlphotos and JJCC in our hunt to find 35 geocaches in order to Return the stolen jewels for the final souvenir in the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir offering. Parking nearby with walked the short distance to GZ and made a quick find by torchlight. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. The cache container is in a good condition but the log could do with some TLC, we were able to sign it without breaking it up too much. Thanks for the cache ozuk.

Saw it from the car which is always a win. Quick out and back on our way. The log is quite damaged but still has some writable space, might be time for an update soon.
After a DNF around the corner, we needed a quick reward. Geokid jumped out the car and grabbed it straight away. TFTC
A quick park n grab on way to work. I've cleared out a locational box of caches lead to Castle Hill RSL and have a later start today I thought I will come up here for a find. Log is damp. But log is writable.
Log is half full.

With temperatures in the low 20's it is a great day for some geocaching. The geocaching map still shows many unfound caches around my home at Castle Hill, so time to collect some smileys.
A while ago I was at this fire station for this cache. However the fire station was open and there were some muggles around. Not a great moment to start looking for a cache. Today I had my redemption. With the fire station closed it was only moments before I found this small cache.

Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 4th of 15 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
Pulled up on the side of Glenhaven Road, but had to wait for a car & trailer to depart the "site of interest" before I could head over for a look. But it didn't take long for them to leave and I quickly headed over to GZ for a nice quick find. Signed the log sheet and then replaced as found.
I'm no stranger to the RFS, having spent several years as a member of Ingleside and Cottage Point brigades (Northern Beaches) in the early 1980's and mid 1990's. TFTC ozuk.

Located at 7:06pm. Quite nervous about this one as I approached with the multitude of cars passing me by but quickly saw the cache and all nervousness passed Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Found our daily cache here just before dark, glad we didn't have to end our streak yet. SL TFTC
Streak Day #1664 - Out quite late for the CCC event and on way home we had hit an animal so we turned back as i had thought it may have been a cat or dog and was quite concerned, as it turned out it was a possum and unfortunately it did not survive so sad little poss. Anyway as it got late and nearing midnight after the possum drama we stopped by here to do an after midnite find. TFTC

Was driving past on the way to an event and parked 10m from GZ. I had to do the old “pretending to be on the phone trick “ as a neighbor was watching me at GZ. I spotted the cache and retrieved the cache and went back to the car . Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

We seemed to be here at a good time as no one was around. It was a nice spot to sit, relax and sign the log in peace. Thanks ozuk, I think I’ll award it a favourite.
There was plenty of parking nearby and I walked back to where the cache would likely be. I was looking everywhere when I realised I was looking right at it so did the signing duties with practically no traffic passing. Thanks ozuk for a good hide.
After brunch at the nearby nursery I came past here on foot to make my last find for the year. I actually also found the "Cattle Loading Ramp", but see that it's been archived for now, so I can't log that. Eh, never mind, can't be fussed about such things.
A clever little hide. The container blends in really well and it took a sharp eye to pick it up. Nobody about, so I could make the grab, take a seat nearby and add my name to the log sheet.
Once everything was back where I had found it, I headed on to Evans Road where the rest of the family was waiting for me in the car. I decided to have a look for "A Quiet Place" some other time -- no good keeping the non-cachers waiting and getting into their bad books ...
Happy New Year.

Grab this one to qualify for the souvenir. Quick find today despite the darkness after viewing the 9.00 pm family fireworks. Thanks for the placement Cheers
I came out to the Hills District this morning to have lunch with my 89 year old aunt and made a short detour along Glenhaven Road to grab a few caches on the way. (helped miss the dreaded Showground Road!)
It was easy to spot the Glenhaven Fire Station but not so easy to cross the street with all the traffic.
Once I was at GZ the traffic seemed to thin out a lot so I was easily able to spot the cache, extract it and sign the log without anyone around. I was a bit concealed by the gardens anyway.

We needed some caches for today to keep the streak going, but it will be finished very soon. Something almost local seemed like a good idea. So we left it until this afternoon as the weather was expected to cool down a lot, and it did! With nicer conditions the hunt was a lot more pleasant and there was no problem with finding this one quickly. All was soon done and we headed off again to make another find. Thank you, ozuk, for placing this cache too.
TFTC! Always looks a bit suss at night caching on this road, after two DNFs down the road nice to get a win
#4625 (2 of 2 today)
Looking for two quick finds today, things to do. I decided on the further two of four new caches in Glenhaven.
Of course one of these turned into a DNF... And one find took longer than it should. Sigh.
Got my two, though. And so hot out already. Back home to aircon for me!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
And finally a nice quick find in this morning's heat.
Not 100% sure of the long term viability of the spot, though.
Took it into the shade to complete signing duties, then replaced and back to the air conditioned comfort of *The Hademobile*.

Managed a park directly across the road at GZ. Took far too long to cross over, so much traffic. Quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Nanny and Bo found this today while caching in the Glenhaven area.
We signed the log.
We took nothing and left nothing.
Thanks for this cache

Canary had told me that he found the cache in plain sight of the firies decorating the sign, so when i turned up minutes later and people were around, I was hesitant, but still bold enough to grab the container and sign the log. The four people there were not fussed at all. TFTC
The fire brigade had noticed the container and were glad to know what it was!?!

NICE EASY FIND TODAY AFTER NAVIGATING THROUGH VERY HEAVY CASTLE HILL TRAFFIC.
