Hi there Gonefishen07,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

After hunting around for a while we thought we would walk away then come back with fresh eyes. Unfortunately we were still unable to find it
This one eluded me today. Searched for a very long time with no luck. Will have to return another time, can’t let it beat me!
We made a mess of this one.
Started on the wrong side of the track.
Then got heavily involved with an object that seemed like a likely hiding place.
Just when we were about to give up, it was spotted in a place that we hadn't even considered.
That's sneaky.
Thanks for placing this series Gonefishen07.
Chiefton!!!

Having arrived on the island yesterday evening we took a look at the map and decided to hike the Treasure Island - Rhyll geo-trails. We had a thoroughly enjoyable walk, did some good bird watching along the way, and of course had great fun finding lots of geocaches, many of them well camouflaged and cleverly hidden - and so many thanks to the CO for having provided us with the opportunity for another great day out geocaching. This one took a bit of searching for but several minutes later there it was. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Found just as the rain came down. Now I’ve got to get back in the rain.
Sl thanks Gonefishen and Borisb&Natasha for the caches

Wasn't sure where to start when I got here. So many places to look. Checked quite a few then realised the last log was a DNF and my friends couldn't find it back in Jan either... then 3 teenage girls approached the area so I headed back towards the car. Will have to return here on my next visit.
Down for a weekend with a few mates and thought we'd go for a bike ride (and cache) to pass the day. Looked for a while on this one - even had a couple of Muggles question us (6 blokes in riding gear searching a log will do that). Alas, we came up empty handed. Damn you!

After completing my volunteering duties at #Parkrun this morning, I began heading for the CITO nearby. I stopped along the way in Hampton park to pick up @n0w0rries and then in Tooradin to pickup @buhfuhguh Now we were on our way. Time was tight for the CITO, but we made it with half an hour to spare.
After CITO was done and dusted, we headed for a small trail of caches nearby. Very happy to have found this one, although it did take the longest to find, we had a clean sweep of this string of caches.
Many thanks to Gonefishen07 for the cache. TNLN.
Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2019?*

Well by now we reckoned we were pretty damned good but you know what they say...
"It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err."
20 minutes later...
A light bulb moment for me and all of a sudden...
Eureka!
Thank you for placing and maintaining this Micro geocache for us to find, Gonefishen07.

After getting lunch at a nearby bakery n0w0rries, ahomburg and I decided that we would tackle this little series of caches in this reserve to wait for the tide to go down for us to attempt one of our main targets for the day. So with our rain jackets on and pens at the ready, we were off.
Most of the caches in here were quick and easy finds with us progressing along nicely, all bar the last one in the reserve that took far longer then what was really required of it.
Anyways thanks for the caches and the nice walk through this well-maintained reserve.

This one took some searching. Seemed to check everywhere without luck. Read some previous logs and something hit home. Said to Geowife, try there. Arr there it is. Log signed and back safe.

I came here with t00thpaste. This was our first look for the day. We looked hard but could not find it. We returned later on. When it was looking like this one had evaded us, t00thpaste found it. Thanks for the challenge and nice hide, I didn't think to look there!
We are having a holiday in Phillip Island this week. Being the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend, coupled with some lovely weather, made it very busy, with muggles out everywhere you went. There were many people walking and riding along the trails today.
We broke out the bikes to do this interesting little trail, where we found a variety of good hides in different containers. Heaps of wallabies about today but didn't stop us from finding any hides.
Thanks for all the effort of placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play

Arriving on the island for a few days kid free ah its the best time holidays have just finished so theres literally no one here.
We parked and set off and our journey to collect this new trail off to a good start. Lots of wallabies around this afternoon.
The cache was soon found, signed, and replaced.

The geo hubby had the cache in hand before I had a chance to get off my bike. And was pretty pleased with himself. Pure luck:)
I did the hard work by signing the log.
Thanks again Gonefishen07. Great hide.

Found second time I drop by in my exploration of Phillip Island. Not where I thought it would be thank you for the hide
Not the most auspicious start to the day, but it did get better... Searched around, read logs, but no joy. Will come back another time, since we have a holiday house down here and the blue frowny face will drive me crazy! For today, though, it was time to move on.
01/02/2019 -- 12.00pm -- No. 1016 - 1st of 5 finds for the day - with dgfb33 & Geogran1937.
The cooler weather had us heading out for some hunting. We headed out a little later than first planned so we decided to head west to try for some caches suitable for dgfb's power-chair. The walking track was fine just a little bumpy on the occupant as there is no bump absorbtion on the wheely wonder. After a short search the cache was found. The passing cyclist stopped for a chat & knew about Geocaching so she knew what we were up to . Found, signed log & returned as found. Thanks for the cache
Got to this cache & found I didn't have my camera in my bag... the other black things tricked me. So that meant only the camera on the phone for the trip. Maybe I left it in the car ... although I have a feeling I managed to leave it at home Sorry for the late log

Our connections with Phillip Island, go back almost half a century, yes it is a Treasure Island in so many ways. Of course visiting the island is made even more exciting now because of the large number and great variety of caches to be found. Having a collection of 13 smiley tokens, it was time to ride for the next 9 in the line.
What an elegant end to the current Rhyll Inlet series.
Will there be more?
Thanks to 'Gonefishen07' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

I almost didn't find it but a day after zero DNF's I wasn't going down without a fight. Walking and stumbling revealed NOTHING. Look down, oh hello.
In the chaos leading up to going camping on Phillip Island for New Years, I completely forgot to check out the caching situation down here... I should've known Gonefishen07 and friends wouldn't let me down . . . there was a lovely power trail not 60m from the property where we were staying!!
While the dads and kids went tearing off on their bikes around this reserve, new cacher Dorkas Scott and myself had a brisk walk collecting the caches from one end of the reserve to the other - not one DNF and fun containers throughout.

Before we continued to head further south we decided to get up early and log a couple of caches on a nice nature trail.
Today we were the early birds, but instead of catching the worm we logged a couple of caches.

On my last day in Australia I was going from Philipp Island to the Airport. First I finished the Treasure Island Trail which I began one day before. Some boxes was difficult to find, some are easy. It was nice there. Only the weather was to hot for walking.

We, (jsson, peter-tvm, Sivun and myself) went for a walk on Philip island today. We logged as IJPS.
At start it was fine weather but it turned into rain showers when we had to walk back to the car. In total a great 15km walk.
Found it on our way back. Well hidden.
Thanks for placing a cache for me to enjoy and find.

Quick find by Jen, but Q hurt himself. Away for the long weekend with GJMMelb and quiet1_au. TFTC
Caching walk #2 today (north through the Oswin Roberts Koala reserve) for lochb, G&J of GJMMelb and I, this particular walk started OK apart from the lack of internet Grand Final coverage (no big deal for me) until I walked into a broken branch and had to break out the first aid kit to patch myself up (nothing serious) - an omen perhaps of the GPS drama to come. Anyway, J made the find of this cache and we were on our way again. TFTC
Due to the Mega being in Melbourne we (GJMMelb, quiet1_au and lochb) decided we needed a caching weekend away somewhere and Phillip Island really fit the bill
After lunch there was no rest for the wicked, more caches to find and we were heading to the Penguins tonight so we needed to find more caches now!! Lol We again parked one car near one end of the track and the other at the other end, this time starting at No. 22. On the way to this cache we tried to work out how to listen to the AFL Grandfinal but weren’t having any luck!! We arrived at GZ and looked around, having lunch must have helped me as I JMelb) made the find. You know what they say ... a bird in the hand ...... We may have used a sticker or signed the log before remembering to get a sticker out.

We were looking for a place to enjoy a wintery walk today and decided to return to Phillip Island and explore this track.
Today was a perfect day to enjoy the walking track before the weather heats up.
We have loved the birdsong along all the tracks today and especially enjoyed watching the Willy wagtails playing together.
Thanks for a well crafted and hidden cache.

I headed out today with biggles1024 for a trip down to Phillip Island, it has been a while since we have been down this way and there are so many more caches to find now since the last time.
This series was one of the main targets today, the trails are great for an enjoyable bike ride even though we didn't make it back to the car before the rain came down.
There are some very nice and tricky hides along this trail, even though we were onto most of them fairly quickly.

**Find #3191**
**Traditional Cache Find #2191**
I headed down to Philip Island with SteMicMitSar for out longest caching run for quite some time. This series was our main focus. A power trail of mostly micros could result in an enjoyable bike ride with lots of finds or an exercise in frustration. Fortunately, with the exception of one DNF, we had a very enjoyable ride even though we got caught in a rain shower as we cycled back to Steve's car, but eventually our clothes dried.

And this was my last find for the day making 25.
I scared the crap out of some wallabies who in turn scared the crap out of me.
With heart still beating wildly I began my search.
Checking the usual spots turned up nothing. Getting low, getting high.
Finally decided to read the logs and as I open my phone I see the cache from the corner of my eye.
Very sneaky!
A good note to finish on, back on the bike and then managed to scare the crap out of a dude and his wife walking as I biked up towards them.
Thanks for the cache and the series and a great day out.

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Today was my monthly Biggles Bear run and we headed to Phillip Island on an absolutely fabulous winter day - blue skies with no clouds to be seen. This one took some time to find as it wasn't quite a conventional hide.

2nd time lucky with tessie expat. It helped that we didn't concentrate on the obvious. Tftc
How did we miss this last time!!! frmen1 and I said that for all the previous dnfs today. Luckily, a phone call from our disappointing telco gave us an excuse to loiter in the area. A few muggles around. TFTC
Suscoe and Bragan were enjoying a pleasant afternoon walk along this trail.
A few breaks of sunshine, lots of cloud and thankfully no rain.
A few cycling folks were spotted here and there.
A few wallabies, no koalas and a few caches found.
This is a delightful track and a really enjoyable walk.
Thanks to Gonefishen07.

Out early this morning, following this trail and picking up the caches along the way. I found the difficulty ratings a bit off, some high d I found easily and some low d I had no idea where they were! That's caching though I guess! I really enjoyed the thought and construction in all these caches, thanks heaps for the time put in.
This one took me ages but just as I was about to give up I saw this guy sitting there, totally unexpected! Tftc

Having missed this one last time I was here, I decided to have another go as I was parked nearby. I ignored all the obvious spots and concentrated on the not so obvious. Ha, it was watching me all the time! TFTC
Had to come to the island so caught up with mansgirl for a couple of finds before heading back.. tftc. . Could find it on the way out. But quick find by mansgirl on the way back
After a good search sat down to read previous logs. It quickly became apparent that most hunters found this one difficult & under-rated. We spent more time looking for anything out of place but eventually left it for another day.
Once I recalibrated my mind to ignore the obvious red herring I soon found the cache. I initially ignored where my GPSr was pointing, but it was correct all along. Tftc.
Couldn't find this one on our first look so came back to it after finishing the rest, read a few previous logs and eventually ignored the giant red herring, trusted my phone gps and there it was. TFTC.
Missed this on the first pass, and about to quit on the second pass when cjfinda found what was not expected. See Pprass log. Aghhh! TFTC
We searched a long time for this one and moved on but after a second look on the return journey cjfinda made the find. TFTC
At long last with a good hint which still didn’t say where it was, and a lot of determination because I’m running out of caches to find close to home and looked here so many times, I was overjoyed to actually find it! The wallabies here now regard me as part of the furniture and don’t move when I’m walking past. I was worried I’d be foiled by a couple of young teenagers who had fallen off their electric motorcycle. Luckily not much damage to them, I checked them out for damage and after they proved to me there was no significant damage I let them know they shouldn’t be riding on a motorcycle in the park and they decided to head home rather than argue the point with me! They weren’t aggressive but I’m sure that at least one of them had enough literacy skills to understand the notices they’d just passed.
I loved the cache when I actually found it and will add it to my favourite points.

This proved to be a little elusive. Several sets of eyes looking too hard. Geokid went back to basics and announced “here it is” after 10 min hunt - cute cache. Thanks Gonefishen07 for another challenge. Moved south and our friends picked up the bush ranger cache before we headed north towards the bottom car park to try and pick up the last of this series.
Found at 11:52 AM GAFF2.
For a D of 1.5 that took way much longer to find. That is what happens when there is a large structure that you expect the cache to be in nearby. With 3 DNF's for such a new cache the D rating is obviously way under rated.
Thanks Gonefishen07.
Feedback: Only one cache name in the log book when I opened it

We wandered from the carpark in search of Koala's with no luck. This one took a fair bit longer due to the phones disagreeing with each other where the GZ was....After a bit of a search it finally showed itself.

We really didn't have a good day today. Only 4/9 finds. Blaming the huuuuge Copperhead, the quickly increasing heat and a lack of coffee. We searched here between lots of cycling muggle groups. The area looks like there has been lots of trampling done in several areas. Beat us today.
With my wife off with the running crew until the early afternoon, the kids fast asleep recovering from a busy Christmas, I had the morning to myself to go caching. I had 2 plans, but with a FTF on offer, Phillip Island was the plan selected.
This is the second visit to this cache, and my third cache of the day. First visit I enjoyed watching the kookaburra in the bushes under the log. This time it was wallabies in the bushes under the log. Didn't get any good photos of them as they stayed in the undergrowth until to far away for some good photos.
Not wanting to fail on this one a second time, it didn't actually take too long to find. Either the CO had moved it slightly, or I was looking from the different angle. The CO must have been having a laugh at us, as the cache is certainly not the hardest in this series, but everyone seems to be struggling with it. Pleased to turn it into nice yellow smiley at 7.30 in the morning
Thanks for the cache Gone Fishen 07

1223rd cache
694th traditional cache

Checked this one today as photo shows 1 mtr at GZ. It's still there look a little harder.
This was my second unsuccessful search for this cache. I searched every tussock and stick and crevice I could poke and investigate to no avail. Since I was here a nearby wattle tree branch had been pruned away. I don’t think it would have affected the cache.
Standing on the log taking some photos when some noise almost under me scared me. I then saw a kookaburra jump out of the bush, then struggled to fly away with a large lizard in his mouth.
Might be a DNF for me on this one, but an interesting one at that.
Thanks anyway Gonefishen 07
