Had to wait for a delivery van to move out of the way but then very quickly in hand. Tftc
Took a bit longer than expected as I should have taken more notice of the cache name than the hint. Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Took a bit of a walk around before I realised there was one place I hadn't looked. Luckily it was there because I had a train to catch. TFTC
#24931. Took a while to spot, but eventually I saw the cache in a place I didn't expect it to be. Magnet seems a bit marginally (cache is as much edged in place as held by the magnet. TFTC.
Another day for StreetWalkerNZ and me of walking around the CBD, finding caches, and doing a few ad labs, before we take the ferry to Manly to see our son and daughter in law. We wandered up and down the street looking for suitable hiding places as both GPSrs were not very helpful. While I was looking in the wrong place, SW made the find. Now to head back to the hotel to collect our luggage and then off to Manly. TFTC.
Super excited to get a sidetracked in another state. Here visiting from Melbourne on a girls weekend with my eldest daughter seeing Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. Have some hours to fill before catching the train to the airport. Chilling in the hotel near by. Left the kiddo with our bags and went to get the laneway cache which I walked upto and grabbed. So embarked on this one too. Was in hand rather quick after a process of elimination. Great camo as I took a second glance. TFTC and filling in 10 minutes.
After so many days of passing by this I finally had a chance to pick it up and log it! TFTC
Came here if not mistaken on Tuesday but could not find it until we sent an SOS for help & decided to come back to find it today, extra hint from Co finally got a chance to find it, well well hidden, just have to look carefully. TFTC to Co, a cool cache & blend in so well.
Took awhile but was a nice find for me and my dad to get our first ever geocache find
We took ages to find this one. Were just about to go away when the she pod again found it. TFTC.
A nice cache, well hidden.I got a kick out of finding this one. Thanks for the cache.
Out for caching in Sydney. Had to search little bit before finding this one.TFTC
This one took longer than expected! What a creative hint, love it . We looked at past logs which helped us find the location, as our GPS signals bounced around a bit.Our eyes caught the cache but a muggle was standing right next to it! So the wait started and around 15min later they finally left and we could quickly get to the cache. Found with TC216.Thanks!
TFTC! went looking for this one MONTHS ago and couldnt find it. asked the CO for a hint but havent been back in the area since so never got a chance to look again. found within moments of getting to GZ this time haha. good hide!!
Great little spot - was less helped by hint and more by a commemt made of the logs. Tftc!
This one took me ages. I thought it was gone cause the obvious spots were empty. That's kinda a clue I guess
Greetings from WalesAfter visiting the Eye at the Sky Tower we had lunch and then whilst the Boss and rest of the tribe decided to go shopping I was allowed to go caching for the afternoon.A bit unpleasant getting harrased for money by a drunk as I was looking for this cache so I gave him a dollar and he wandered off to hassle someone else. The cache was found thanks to a comment in a previous log about a rust location - mus admit the hint baffled me. Got there in the end so thanks for the cache.
A sidetracked cache is always nice. This is our first stop before beginning our long road trip. It is another fabulous spot that we might have missed if there would not have been a cache.Aussiebrian, cheers for placing this Micro sized 2.0/1.5 Traditional Geocache SideTracked - Central.
If your teens take your car away, what can you do? Hop onto public transportation on an unrostered work day to see some geocaching sights. And grab more finds, both caches and ALs. This one took me a few visits as previous searches were limited by the need to catch intercity trains rather than wait another hour! Finally! Thanks Aussiebrian
First search it had me stumped but bets reading logs it was a quick find this time. TFTC
Quite hard to find and for anyone who is still looking you dont need a parking ticket, you need a parking spot.
Took me awhile, GPS jumped all over. After reading previous logs, homed in on general area and @2.43pm had find #308 in hand. Cache is in good condition. SLR as found.TFTC.
Got it eventually! Have seen this series down in Canberra so good to find one up in Sydney.Hidden in plain sight! With some delightfully natural camo. Baristayan added in a new log cos it was all full up inside. Thanks!
Final cache for a monumental day out caching with buckoraider. He found this one! I was reading and analysing, but he charged with brutal finger force everywhere until he found it.The clue got us on the wrong spot originally, but we corrected course. Cords are good and even when bouncy the satellite image helps.Log was quite full so we left a spare for now.If the CO accepts it, it would provide 150+ more logs
Sydney trip for Egyptian Exhibition Day 3. Having visited the fantastic Egyptian exhibition yesterday, I was heading home today. I had most of the day to wander around town before heading off in the afternoon back to Canberra. My walk today took me over the bridge into Darling Harbour and up the hill beyond to Ultimo. There was a bit of a loop around the back end of Darling Harbor before finding lunch at a tiny cafe in a back street. I then headed to the east of the station for a few caches before finding a place to sit and rest my feet till it was time to get on the train. A long few days, but it has been fun. This was one of those that could have been anywhere, and even the hint was a little confusing, but I was happy that I saw the container on my second walk by of the area. Thanks for the cache Aussiebrian46282.14 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2012 Compass Rose Kilimanjaro A#246**Albida**
Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.
Out and about again, headed over to Sydney early in the morning, grabbed a hire car and got some local hides before driving to Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 14216, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to Aussiebrian for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Arrived in Sydney today after an overnight journey via Melbourne. Feeling pretty buggered, the time difference, short flights and transfer of aircraft in Melbourne didnt help. Despite a sleepless night, we had to push on, and the plan was to catch up with a friend in Coogee. I live near Coogee in Perth, but we pronounce it differently. I eyed off a few caches and LGAs to clean up in the process. If youre receiving this log, the chances are that todays mission was a success. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers Aussiebrian! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Greeting from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!!Off on another great adventure. We are starting in Australia and ending up in Tahiti caching along the way. Signed the log books with SPCA24Thanks to all of the COs for placing these caches for us to find and for adding to our fun day. Answers for virtual and earth caches will be sent by a member of our group
I'm out caching on this beautiful day while visiting your country. I am visiting from Rhode Island and traveling with a group of cachers from USA and Canada. We will be traveling to Brisbane, Sydney, and embarking on an NCL cruise to the South Pacific. Logs will be signed with our names or group name to saveroom on logs. SPCA24. Thank you to the COs who hide and maintain these caches. Everything below this line is for Project-GC log numbers. ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** I will be attending any nearby events to meet up with local cachers. I will be targeting gadget caches, which are always a fun challenge. Older caches and Virtuals aren't to be missed. Solved puzzles that I've spent many snowy days working on. Earthcaches are always worth the lessons learned. Challenge caches are some of my favorites even if I don't qualify yet... something to work towards. Webcams before they all disappear. High favorites are always worth the fun. Adventure Labs point out things I would usually just drive by without the work a CO puts into them. New counties, whenever possible, for some of those challenges I've already signed. Let's not forget towns for MA351 whenever in the area. I'm always on the lookout for large sized containers and caches for my Fizzy and Jasmer grids. Logs will be stamped with our caching names or initials to save room on logs. I don't always stamp in order, I will fill in spaces if there are any on the log. If answers are required, one of us will send them when we get home. Thank you to all of the COs for the time and dedication of hiding and maintaining these Geocaches for everyone to find! ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

The pictures were deceiving..found it by process of elimination so took longer.. thanks for the hide
**XX** MMMMMMMCMLXXXI: Our second full day in Sydney. Headed to the central part of Sydney for some caching. Coords were a bit spotty here but was able to make the find. TFTC
A tricky little hide here, but once wed eliminated where the cache wasnt, we spied it when walking past GZ from the right angle. Very nicely camouflaged! Thanks.
