Nice easy find. I got nervous about the rehide after reading a previous log . But was all good. There is some orange bunting but still a paddock. Tftc
Difficult to get the container out it was the wrong way round. Eventually got it, signed log and replaced the right way. TFTC.
Today's cache provided a delightful two-part challenge. The first part, finding the cache, was a breeze our geocaching instincts honed right in, leading us effortlessly to the prize. Kudos to the thoughtful cacher who added to the logbook; it's heartwarming to witness the community's collaborative spirit in action. The second part? A fun puzzle in reverse! While retrieval was straightforward, returning the cache to its hiding spot proved to be a bit of a brain teaser. It's not every day that the re-hiding becomes the main event! A shoutout to the cache owner for this unique experience. It's caches like these that keep the game dynamic, making us flex different geocaching muscles, both in the search and the concealment. With a sense of accomplishment and a newfound appreciation for the art of hiding, we're off on our next adventure. To future seekers: enjoy the find, but savor the re-hide it's a puzzle in its own right! Happy Caching and happy puzzling!
I had to do a trip out to one of our aircraft Wide Area Multilateration Site Monitors (aircraft surveillance) at Kurrajong today, to do the annual maintenance checks, and couldn't resist stopping off on-route to grab a few caches. This was the 3rd of 7 finds, plus 2 DNFs, for the trip.
After finding "Manage your waste" I continued walking along the pathway to this one, and it was another nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Deep_99.

Don’t know… probably more big stores or houses… made a quick find with excellent cords TFTC
Waiting on an IKEA order so decided to pick up a few nearby random caches nearby. GPS giving me grief on this fella, but persistence paid off.

OCW aubeasty today to try and bring my yearly numbers back up before the end of the year. COVID, no NSW mega and more work than usual have meant that my numbers haven’t been crash hot. A lovely sunny day made the perfect way to rectify this situation by bike.
Found as per the hint.

To complete the final stage of my Night at the Museum challenge, I needed a few more caches. This series on and around Richmond Road has been on my radar for a long time, so now it is the time to dust off my foldable push bike and get going.
It turned out to be a nice afternoon with many finds and over 15km of bicycle fun,

Found with the phlApp and a magician in our hunt for caches in the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir challenge. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Deep_99.
Out with phlphotos and JJCC in our hunt to find 35 geocaches in order to Return the stolen jewels for the final souvenir in the current Mystery at the Museum souvenir offering. Parking nearby with walked down for the next couple of caches in the series and made a quick find. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Cache container is in good condition, but unfortunately log is full and as phlphotos has listed a NM no point in adding another one. Thanks for the cache Deep_99.

Out and about we decided to grab a few more of the Richmond Road Series parked near and headed down to do the next 5. This was the fourth one we did. Another quick find in the first place we looked and we soon had the cache in hand.
With cache in hand we signed the log where we could have fit in, and signed as phl tM JC, and replaced as found. The log needs replacing as full now. Our replacement logs were back in the car. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Deep_99

Decided to go caching this way north today. Did not really check any weather and just left early. As I was already driving for an hour the radio was talking about 40+ temps, what did I get myself into? Still sticked to the plan, did a nice bike ride in sub 30 at that time and a nice breeze. As it really got hot I had shelter in my car and was able to do a lot of driveby's. Thanks for putting out all those caches!

What a fun way to spend the last day of the school holidays with the kids. With the pushbikes and a mountain of enthusiasm we parked about half along this mini series before find the ones in a westerly direction first.
Peddling back into the headwind proved difficult but we eventually found all the ones to the east, before feasting on Macca's for lunch. Thanks for a fun series of caches that the Rats and mini rats enjoyed doing together.

Came out here with the Rats for a bit of fun on our bikes. While the skies were gloomy and the wind blew hard into our face, it didn't stop us finding this series of caches and earning a stop at Maccas and Starbucks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Was in the area with Trodectus to do some shopping, afterwards we went for a walk to GZ. Arriving GZ we quickly had CIH. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We parked in the retail district and before we went shopping we decided to go for a bit of a walk. Once at GZ we started our search and soon we had CIH. Then back to the car and on to the shops. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1325. A huge construction site that seems inactive today. No doubt it will look very different in the years to come. Our thanks to Deep_99.

I received a reminder that I only had a week left to claim the final souvenir, so I hitched my biked onto the rack and headed out to Richmond Rd.
After parking at the hardware store, this was the 4 of 22 of what would turn out to be a leisurely ride along the bike path. All the coords were super accurate which made for pretty quick finds.

7/7/18. 8:41 AM. Cache #5599.
4th of 13 this morning - Marsden Park.
A nice morning for a bit of walking along Richmond Rd. For the first leg, I parked in the Bunnings carpark, and walked north to pick up:
would you like Apple slices with that
Sandstone
Manage your waste
What's going here
Duck Pond View
After South St
Each of these were quick finds with good co-ords. After these 6, I turned around and walked back to Macca's, grabbing breakfast and watching the end of the replay of Belgium knocking Brazil out of the WC, haha. I then drove up to Elara display village, parking there to walk to my other 7 finds this morning. TFTC.

A beautiful winter Saturday saw us travel west on M2 and M7 to pick up a number of caches along Richmond Road.
Continuing along Richmond Road from Manage Your Waste, had us searching the gate, and soon found the cache. Continued North towards the last cache for the day, and managed to drop the pen on the way.

Time to venture from the eastern beaches to check out the Richmond Road Cache Path
The last time I drove along Richmond Road it was only a single lane roadway with trees growing beside the road. I was gob smacked by the amount of development going on everywhere and the volume of constant traffic was unbelievable – where are all those trucks coming from or going to?
I started at the Squeaks Bridge cache and finished the day at the Elara cache, only because the traffic heading west was starting to build up. For most of the trail I was able to park in one of the small turnaround spots off Richmond Road and walk to two or three caches at each stop. I had a couple of dnf’s at Thebe and Green Space View 2 and somehow forgot about Green Space View all together. All in all a very enjoyable day out in the sunshine. Thanks for the caches and showing me this new part of the world Deep_99.

A great day for a bike ride in western Sydney with my granddaughter. Thanks to the COs for all the caches... and to those who helped maintain them.
We left early this morning to get as many caches as we could along this trail. Ended up getting just over 80 so it was a very good day. Thanks for all the caches.
It was much nicer walking along this part of Richmond Road as it was so much more peaceful as there were far less passing vehicles, almost like the old days. There was a lovely stand of eucalypts between Manage Your Waste and this spot. I hope that whatever goes here those trees remain. It was nice to be able to look over the fields. I remember when this was all small farms.
The only good thing really is that the road is so much safer now and you can walk or cycle in safety too, not that I saw anyone else in my hike.
The cache was another quick find.

Manage your waste and then this, proved tough me me to retrieve from the previous finders return placement. Though, not too much time here, thanks Deep_99
The last few days can only be call hell at work but it was now time to put that all behind me and get working on my number with less then 25 to get before find 2000 and I plan on that one being at the big event over Easter.
It was not to hot today so I walked the power trial I moved the car 3 or 4 times and just as well because as I was finishing the storm was coming in. I just made it back the to car as it started.
But I found all the caches. All logs were is great condition. Some of the tape is getting old and the magnets are coming loose. But they are all great little find when working on your numbers.
I finished the day with visit to Lindt for little rabbits and then to Ikea to grab some of their paper rules they make great log for bison tubes or bigger, tomorrow I'm off to do cache maintenance. Thanks so much for a great day and I feel a bit more relaxed now.
