Bei einem schnen Spaziergang wurde dieser Tradi am 6.10.24 ziemlich schnell um 15:30 gefunden und geloggt. BERLINER SOCKE aus Berlin/Germany bedankt sich fr diesen Cache.
Loads of mobile muggles driving past, but the excuse of taking photos and sitting for a break to hug a tree came in useful. Easy spot, sign and return. GeoCoin gathered, and will be taken up north, and released up there to continue its journey
First cache found in Gisborne Up here for work from down Palmy way and finally able to get out for an explore. No trackable in the cache (as logged) Celebrated my first Tairawhiti cache by leaving some swag and my very first owned trackable - safe, happy adventures little Compass Rose!! Mihi ki a koe mo te keteroki #246
A day trip from Napier to get some East Coast caches towards a Challenge cache in Tasman. The things we do. This took me a while to spot, but I got there in the long run. TFTC
Third find in Gisborne, a nice easy one here, Bapgirl had her hands on the cache quickly. TFTC!
Brief visit to Gisborne. Took a little while to narrow down but got it in the end.
Today we had a good drive / wander round the town and picked up several caches - trads, puzzles we had solved and a few multis worked on today too.We took far longer than we should have funding this but got there in the endLog signed and all returned TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
Our first cache find in Gisborne I had hoped to have time to find more but we really enjoyed our time here a great hide thanks
Thanks for the heads up from previous cachers! Clearly I hid the last one too well and even I couldn't find it when going to do maintenance... There's only one cache currently present at GZ. All the best with your search!
We had been here close to 2 years ago but at that time a homeless person had taken up residence close by, no one around here now so a good time to search, the funny thing is that we found the cache, but we also found the previous cache in the same bush, so we signed both...
Disabled until the floodwaters clear and we can get out and check all my caches. Stay safe, stay at home.
Summer Geocaching Road Trip - Day 4 - In and around Gisborne. It's been a while since I've been off on a road trip and this one has been on the cards for quite a while. I plan to visit some parts of the country where I've done very little caching before and hope to complete the qualification for a challenge cache in Nelson. This one took me a lot longer to find than it should have done but it's definitely there. TFTC, Biggles.

Moved the cache a little so it hopefully won't get muggled as much!

Unfortunately I'm adding to the lists of dnfs as well. Probably needs a co check?
Down for maintenance, I'm going to move it slightly cause it keeps on getting muggled. Stay tuned.
Like previous searchers i think the cache is gone. If it does still exist I suggest the owner shifts it as the area is not the most inviting and one must approach with caution. It's sad that we have a society where people live like this sometimes not of their own choice.. But not always.
Super grubby down there, did not want to go for a dig. No homeless today, but uncertain if cache still exists.
As we approached the area there were people living under the bridge so we decided not to look for this cache
looks like someone is living under bridge nearby.
but no body home today and cache soon collected and signed.

With (Mr) Davidson clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and McJandals. We planned a Gisborne roadtrip in August to get a jump on the Reach the Peak challenge, but Covid-19 lockdowns stuffed up our plans. As soon as levels allowed for it, our outing was back on the table. Today’s one-day mission meant getting up and away by 4AM…
When visiting other towns, it's always interesting to visit places outside of the usual. We saw a bit more of Kaiti as we weaved through suburban streets... It really makes a difference when the CO has done some recent maintenance. This cache was a straight forward find and in good order. Thanks Skyuni123 and TFTC.

Had an early start of 4am today arriving into Gisborne at 730am. Thanks for all the hides. Thanks for replacing quick find cache all good.
A plan was hatched recently to hit the Gisborne area this weekend. Nice to get away after the recent lockdown and grab some smiles. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Will check in the next couple days when the weather clears up. Totally blanked on this one. Thanks folks!
Found after about 5 minutes searching. Place as for homelesses .
Sunny day after twelve days of picking persimmons. I heard a secret voice in my head Go hunting caches .

We are away for a few days on a TMGT tour journey through to Gisborne and back again. After a smash and grab on our last Whakatane Cache, we have had to be happy with a temporary perspex passenger window for the rest of our trip, so not too keen on leaving the car for any length or out of sight caches. So nice we could park near to this one. Took us a little while to locate the clever hide. The magnets seem to have failed but spotted the camo next to the hint. SL. TFTC.
A nice quick first of the day find.
Christmas holiday road trip to Auckland. Day seven, from Gisborne to Whakatane.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Didn't expect to find this -but there it was-well covered & in a ants nest-cache all ok tho.tftc
Looked after for a fair amount of time but couldn't see anything, thinks we've figured out the hint but didn't get us anywhere
Took a little bit of a hunt, though the hint was spot on! I do try to enjoy urban caching, but always manage to come across home made smoking apparatus, especially close by to the underneath of urban bridges. Disposed of said apparatus in nearest garbage receptacle. TFTC
Thanks for placing the cache, enjoying Gisborne great parks alongside the Riverside
A nice quick find after crossing the busy road. A few muggles on the other side of the river this evening but they weren't concern about what I was doing.

Sent Mr D for this find. Visiting from australia on cruise ship, golden princess.
On a cruise to New Zealand ports, Today we stopped at Gisborne. We caught a shuttle bus into the City centre and had a walk around to find a few caches and have a look at the surrounds. Looking in the wrong spot to start with until the GPS settled down and had me pointing to the correct GZ.. Found, Signed and returned...TFTC
Great spot! Clue had me a bit bewildered for a moment but had a laugh once I realised. High area of traffic as waka ama is practised across the bridge frequently.
A quick easy find with markhnz on a short Christmas afternoon walk, in the sun after the rain finally stopped. TFTC
This had been a planned trip in the company of HKCB to Whangarei but as the weather wasn't the best in the north we thought we would bring this trip forward and head over here to see what we could locate as neither of us had done a whole lot around this area.
Leaving home 7pm Friday evening and returning by midnite Saturday, 954kms travelled and approx. 70 caches located along with about 8 DNF's.
Thanks to all the CO's whom have put out these caches for us and completing the maintenance to keep them going.
The start of a new day and after a few hours sleep it was time to see what we could find with the real challenge being the new virtual as that was a primary goal for the trip. With the light up and no rain the day was looking good for a few caches. A few more people starting to get up and about but still a nive and quiet area. A quick find here before making our way off again
Thank you for the placement, thanks for the cache.

This weekend had been booked into headed to Whangarei with Cats&Dragons for a bit of caching, but as the weather wasn't looking flash at all, so we decided to head East instead to Gisbourne as we both hadn't done much caching in te area. Leave home about 7pm Friday, and returning home midnight Saturday meant we got a fair bit of caching time in for the limited time we had. All up we found just under 70 caches in total, so a big thanks for all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches we found on this trip.
Easy find here.

Found with Mangapapa Cubs on their geocache night. Replaced torn plastic bag, trashed out some assorted cans. TFTC.
One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
A relatively quick find here, TFTC!!
