We stayed in Port Macquarie over night. In the morning we had to bring our rented campervan to a repairshop nearby. So we had some time to go for a few caches. This was a nicely camouflaged one. Thanks for the cache,Murkel, on tour with Muckel120. September 2024 08:50

Find # 9641That took a while to find. Coords are great. Well camouflaged. TFTC Tatt2squared 23 September 2023 10:13
We have been staying on the coast at Harrington to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
We are now heading north and grabbing a few more around this lovely Port Maquarie area. This was 1 of a few that we did of this series.
This container was eventually found after a long search. Co-ords jumped about and also being vertically challenged didn't really help. Got there in the end.
Thanks Tatt2squared for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

That was a really clever cache. Not sure I would have found it without Ginja Beard Ninja.
Found with nissan65. After some information from a friend we came back for another look and cache was quickly found. Many thanks for your contribution to geo caching
With 2 of us having a good look we still couldn't find it. Maybe next time. Thanks for your contribution to geo caching
Behind the fence? That would depend upon which side you started.... we checked both, several clumps of trees, no cache....
Dayboro trip. Day 3. I was supposed to be in Port Macquarie, but could not because of the floods affecting the van parks. This did not stop me driving down from Waughope for a day around town caching. Plenty of evidence of the devastating floods, I think only one of my DNFs would have been caused by the floods. I was looking for a puzzle cache today, it took three trys, the first failed due to my ladder being too short. After a full day I did some shopping and then found time for logging after dinner in Waughope.
Behind is such an ambiguous term, but a bit of peering from my side brought the hide into view. A bit more obvious than I expected, but very well located.
Thanks.

Found it on a sunny Monday while staying in the area with evangt. Quick find thanks to the hint. TFTC
Exclusively doing tatt2squared caches today because we like them so much. Thank you for making each one that little bit different. Just as well as I was there. Footy Fanatics would have been height challenged.
DNF for this one, I had a good look all around GZ, also looked at previous logs for any hints.. Looked mainly near the top as the clue suggest looking on the other side. Not knowing what is classified a front and back as I could approach from either side. Tatt2squared.

Now that the restrictions have eased around the state, time to go caching again. Stay safe everyone... remember to enjoy the little things.
Disabling until socially acceptable to continue with caching. Stay home everyone, stay safe.
Headed out with geoboy this afternoon to find a leap day souvenir. Found the cache with pretty cool camo amongst swarms of mosquitoes! TFTC

After a recent clean-up of the area, our original Poison Ivy disappeared... so we have had to replace with a different looking, but similar, cache in a slightly different location. The tree cover makes it hard to get a great reading, but the hint should help. Happy caching.

Another one of our caches MIA... whats going on lately... will get a replacement shortly
Tried to find this one last week with no luck. Went again today with friends who have previously found it but they confirmed it’s no longer there. Muggled perhaps?
In Port Macquarie to celebrate Australia Day with Bill and Di Morgan and friends. What better way than to get this cache on our way home from attending the market in town. Thankyou Tatt2squared for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Staying in the area, I "needed" to go shopping for a new toy, so decided to do a bit if geocaching while I was in town.
This was one of the last finds today whilst in town. You've got a fave point from me for the camo... Is it called camo? Either way, loved it.

Saw a big Blue Tongue Lizard at GZ, after giving it a wide berth, the cache was in hand, signed, and I was on my way
Out & about on a sunny day perfect for finding a few caches to grab the turtle souvenir for Hidden Creatures. Awesome camo! Log may be stamped Coongoola or small logs signed CG. SL
Thanks for placing this cache Tatt2squared

Was coming from the right direction to duck into this one. i had been in the area previously for another cache which has sine been archived. Wondered over to make a quick find of Ivy hiding in the bushes. TFTC
Had to come down to a drs. appointment in the rooms near the hospital and was determined to replace the blue frownie face today with a yellow smiley. We had no luck on 'Straya Day in our search for this one so we were not leaving empty handed this time. And am happy to say this time we found it quite easily. Love the camo. Thanks Tatt2squared.
Back out again in the Port Mac area to check out the Iron Man event and also look for a few further caches in the area. Naturally in parts of town it was muggle central while other parts were quiet and much easier. A lovely day again to be out and about.
We were challenged regularly today by the GPS gods but managed to come up with the goods even if search times were often quite lengthy.
Our final cache for the day, and in the area until our next visit. The GPSr again had us quite a way from where we finally found this one, so we were most grateful for the clue.
Thank you so much for an interesting series. We enjoyed the themed caches and variety of hides.

Another fine sunny Autumn day for a drive around in Port Mac.
Many muggles around today and a few good hides.
I found this one 9m from my GZ too.
Thanks for the cache Tatt2squared,

Nice one! Thanks for the thought put into these caches. A fun activity with geokid o. Bikes today. Glad to have some small fingers available to do the extraction!
Poison Ivy put us on a bit of a chase and we spent a bit of time searching for this one with the GPSr bouncing around a bit with the tree cover. Mossies were in full force and eventually we resorted to the hint. Of course! How did we miss that! Clever cammo. TFTC TNLNSL
Found while in town for the afternoon with the kids. A quick view at GZ and we spotted her. Great cache. TFTC. A favourite point awarded.
Found with girlfriend 2:27 pm. We have been visiting Port Macquarie staying at Flynn’s beach a nice area. Today we were going to head home but as usual look for a cache or two along the way. This cache was on the radar since I wanted to still find some around the Port area. We spent a fair bit of time trying to locate this the description didn’t help and the GPS coords put us about 12m away from where we eventually found it. Thanks to earlier logs about green this helped with how much further we looked. Meanwhile the mossies had been having lunch on us. As we tromped around in the area of the GPS coords we tried to look for meaningful match. Then I started to review logs. Upon finding the cache a little different than usual. Signed the log bemoaning the mosquitoes having a feast and then we got out of there as fast as we could.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
She's back...slightly different location, but very close to where she was before. Hint has been updated to help with the annoying tree cover issue
Had to take her home for maintenance. She got caught up in the clean up of the area. She will be back shortly... in a slightly different spot
Had a quick look for this on our way to the Joker, then put about 15 minutes in to the search on the way to the car, with a rare find by Geodad. Cache in good condition, thanks for this series.
We were supplied with an massive amout of information about where this cache was to be found, events are like that, even the cache owner's joined in. Armed with all the deatails we would need to win world war 3 the cache was soon ours.Well soon if you don't count the DNF earlier. 291910:33:00 AM*none* Tatt2squared without cachers like you we would have no game. Thank you. TNLN SL
Our bike ride plan of attack was to find The Joker then Poison Ivy - and we certainly hope nobody heard that discussion or we'd have been locked up for insanity. Knowing how well Poison Ivy gelled with her surroundings was the thing so we gave the wrong spot a good going over before finding the rather flamboyant character in another spot.
Now for the challenge of finding the connecting trails back to Emerald Downs. One day this will be a straight through trail but till then it's a D4. TFTC Tatt2squared

Sadly, this was a DNF in what has so far been a successful day. The boys elected to mind the geomobiles and the girls took off for the final push. We hunted high and low, scrutinised every tree and the fence, also noted that quite a few trees seemed to have been cut down very recently so in the end we gave up. Time to go and have a bite to eat. I'll be back for another attempt.
Found at 10:17 AM GAFF3 in the company of NurseHayley.
We have been here before for a previous (now archived cache) and so knew about the gap in the fence, so we thought we were ahead already [^] However the wheels soon fell off our little attempt as we started going around in circles looking at all sorts of possibilities. We sort of knew in our minds what we were going to be looking for - but where? Starting to get a bit hot now - so had to switch on our best "find the cache" mode and within a few seconds the nicely set up to theme cache was found. Co-ords were surprisingly not that far out either - just 4 - 6 metres which is pretty good under those conditions - it is just that there are many possibilities to search in that area.
Thanks Tatt2squared.

Found in the company of pprass, took a while to find but peter found the cache. We signed the log quickly as the mozzies were out on bite duty. TFTC
TFTC, I have been saving this one for the New Years Eve Souvenir. Got to GZ but my GPS just would’nt settle down, I wandered around for 10 minutes searching for no luck then a slightly different shade of green caught my eye.

After a few finders advising that the co-ords were a bit out we headed to GZ to try to remedy... hopefully the new co-ords are closer to the mark. Any issues please feel free to drop us a message, Thanks

After a bit of search among the trees and srub ,spotted the dreaded "IVY" discovered or uncovered the fanatic cache !! Thanks once more ,Tatt2squared
Reading Poison Ivy's description she sounds like a real nasty villian. This cache was not far from where The End of the Road used to be. I had down loaded the co-ords to my GPS & Bill was using his phone. Took us some time to find, GPS showed about 10m from GZ, may have been the tree cover. We had decide on working on the cache name to locate the hide. Ivy's head is getting wobbly already, the cache was well concealed in it's hide. A favourite point given
Thanks Tatt2squared for another good hide.

Found at 12:25pm
There were a few muggles around on our first pass, but thankfully they had left when we got back.
This cache took us about 10 minutes to locate, mostly due to the tree cover sending our GPS all over the place. Eventually, we spotted something a little suspicious from a distance and upon further examination it was the cache.
Thanks for the cache

I had spent 15 minutes hunting for this, and then went and found the Joker cache. Came back and going a bit further from the GZ I found it within 6 minutes. A nice hide. As I was just using the coordinates, I was initially at a lose, but soon had the scroll in hand.
GAFF1 at 1935, on second attempt. Cache dry and intact.
Thanks Tatts2squared, again suitable for the FDF Challenge, so will add it to the List when off WiFi.
Bringing a bunch of trackables through.

It's been a while between caches but we had a free lunch hour so decided it was time to get back out there. A fun family outing to a rarely visited part of town had us looking under every bush. We were quickly rewarded with a very cute find. Nice Camo but not too hard. A fun one for kids and adults alike.
