Zum zweiten Mal in Australien, und mein tolles Hobby gibt mir die Mglichkeit, dieses unglaublich relaxte, angenehme und schne Land von allen Seiten kennenzulernen. So konnte ich auch hier vorbeikommen und ganz nebenbei noch eine sehr schne Dose finden. Vielen Dank frs Legen und Pflegen!

Found the cache itself. However the log itself is missing. Very fun find though

I had found what looks to be the cache container but no cache was found. CO attention possibly needed.

Staying nearby for work so an early morning walk was in order. A nice quick find here. Thanks for the fun and adventure!

An easy find on a day where GeoP is playing tourist in her home town. Surprisingly busy path for a Monday morning.

I decided to look for some geocaches in South Brisbane today. I found a carpark just near here and then a quick find of the cache. A good start to the day. I continued on foot to the Cultural Centre, Southbank and returned to the car via Fish Lane. A great day out exploring the south side of the city.Thanks for the nicely hidden cache domsky! The logbook is very full but I found a spot to squeeze my name in.

Auch heute haben mich Mama und Papa wieder mitgeschleift, um ein bisschen frische Luft zu schnappen und das Tagesdschen zu finden. Inzwischen trauen die mir ja ganz schn weite Wege zu, ich muss schon sagen... Macht mir aber ja genauso viel Spa wie denen, gebe ich ja gerne zu. Und man entdeckt immer wieder etwas Neues, selbst wenn man wie wir oft auf den gleichen Strecken unterwegs ist. In diesen Tagen ist aber alles neu. Australien ber Singapur und Malaysia, da war ich noch nie. Inzwischen haben wir uns zwar einigermaen kklimatisiert, haben aber auch beschlossen, unseren Rhythmus beizubehalten. Also sind wir auch heute wieder in aller Hergottsfrhe aufgebrochen, um noch vor dem Frhstck das ein oder andere Dschen zu suchen. Heute hatten wir etwas mehr Zeit, so dass es eine grere Runde geworden ist. 18th August 2023 12.15pm. The guard bird kept up a running commentary about what it thought of cachers in their territory. Nicely made cache. Another FP from me.

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area. Today we spent the day riding around Southbank and closer to the city.

Stopped off here a made a quick find of a very neat hide.

Drifted by the highly-favourited hide after nursing a loss at the Matilda’s vs Nigeria women’s World Cup match. Smelt strongly of sewage and smoke - definitely the open sewer pump station wet well nearby and maybe the nearby cement manufacturing kiln too. Retrieved subtly wondering how often and how deep this has been submerged. TFTC!

Love any cache where this level of effort is put in. A really fun find. GPS was nearly 100% spot on. TFTC

An afternoon out in the city with the family to see SIX (great show!), I decided to stay back afterwards and grab some unclaimed Southbank caches as I had rare free time and it was quite warm and so lovely just wandering around for a while.

After finding the two previous caches, I approached this area as I began my journey back home. The sun was fading and creating a beautiful scene, but also making it rather tricky to spy what I thought I was looking for. I searched for a bit, and then extended my search area. Given the increasing darkness befalling me, I thought I would try one last place. I picked up an object thinking 'maybe under there'. A quick look and nope. But, as I replaced the item I had lifted my geosenses told me that it didn't quite make the sound or feel the way I had expected it to when I dropped it back. Another quick look and I realised I actually had the sneaky cache in hand haha! What a great container - thanks so much for this. I believe this is the first of these types I have found - a favourite point from me. Log signed and all returned, all is well with this cache.

Had some time to kill while the kids are rock climbing nearby. Happily this cache gives me a ‘u’ for a spell ‘February’ challenge. TFTC

This is a nice area, one we haven't visited before. After parking up we walked across the road towards GZ. We began searching the possible spots then Mr Herbz lent over and spied something haha, what a clever little cache, all nice and dry.TFTC An FP from us.

We decided on an Adventure Lab feast this afternoon, hitting St Lucia, West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park and Yerongpilly before heading home, grabbing a small handful of assorted caches along the way....
Samuel spotted this on our way across to Southbank, where, due to parking woes, we bailed on the AL and headed to Boggo Rd. He spotted the cache quickly, we've found a bunch similar, always fun - TFTC!

Found while over here doing some adventure labbing! Had a fun time getting a few adventures over near the university and the West End parts of brisbane!

Had a few appointments today and a little time to fill in. Where is there a cache to find. Managed to park about 30mtrs from this one.

An early walk to shake off the cobwebs after mourning the queens passing a wee bit too thoroughly on the public holiday.
This was my second find as I made my way along the river. As I stood at ground zero I noticed something that stood out a bit to my cacher eyes which proved to be the stashes hide. Quite a clever placement glad I manages the find quickly with so many muggles about.
Thanks for the cache here adding to my mornings fun.

With a 4 day hike on Fraser Island coming up in a few weeks time I thought it a good idea to get some km in the legs beforehand. Starting at UQ St Lucia campus, I headed over the Green Bridge for a 28km loop, mostly along the river, out to the Story Bridge and back.

An excellent hide here. Some previous experience on a similar hide style paid dividends, otherwise this would have been very easy to overlook. Some decent gaps in passing muggle foot traffic allowed the cache to be retrieved and replaced unobserved. The logbook was all scrunched up and twisted and only tore in my attempt to unravel. Decided instead to replace with a new log sheet. TFTC

Mrs Woodyrothwell is a prep teacher and has an aide that has just started geocaching. We recognised her login as the last visitor to the hide and rather than turn around and head back, we kept walking to GZ.

It’s a given that all males are idiots, but our idiot son had shed his jumper and was braving the freezing cold in just a t-shirt. I don’t know if he was just trying to impress us, show the world his tattoos, or highlight the fact that I had passed on to much of the idiot gene to him.

He came up with the goods and after stamping the log decided it would be better to turn around rather than head on. The cold must be freeing up the handful of brain cells I also passed onto him. tftc

Lovely afternoon for a run and kayak on the river. TFTC

Out and about for a little drive to clear my head from all my work stuff and I found myself over this way. This was a great cache to find. I saw the cache as I was passing and waited until no one was around and then swooped in to make the find. A great cache design and one that gets a favourite point from me.

With the log signed and cache replaced as found, I was off to look for another in the area.

At the provided coordinates a likely object soon revealed itself as holding a log sheet for me to add my name to. I remember in younger days we several times walked from the ferry terminal back opposite St Lucia to the vicinity of Southbank. I think I would find such a walk very tiring these days, but the trusty wheely device makes it possible. TFTC, domsky.
